Pros: It was clean. Music was loud, but appropriate for the evening crowd and good playlist. Lanes functioned well. Cons: Not a lot of balls when it is busy so people were walking up to others to ask to take their balls. When we got there, we weren't sure how many games we wanted to play and if we wanted to bowl 3 each to get the special, but the cashier said we could bowl whatever # we wanted and then decide later how to split it up when we were finished. We were litetally talking with her about the about the buy-2-get-1-half-off deal when she said that. When we went to check out to pay, a different cashier would not honor the special and said we would have had to pay for that at the beginning. The first cashier NEVER said that! I saw her afterwards and questioned it, and she said something like, "oh, yeah, you'd had to buy that before you started," and blew me off. I told her she never said that, and the rest of my party agreed 100%, and that she had told us she'd split it up after, but that didn't seem to matter. That's a bit of bait and switch action. Dishonest. We played 10 games total, 4 shoe rentals, and got ZERO discount, but should have gotten 3 games at half price. Also, they don't split a check by dollar amount, but by line item, which was also less convenient. Disappointing experience to have to pay more than expected and the cashier could have cared less. read more

Love this place! The interior gives off great vibes no matter if you're bowling day or night with their lighting and music. Food is great and service is friendly. Although a little pricier than other bowling alleys, it's definitely worth it for the experience. read more

This is our new kick it spot! We came in around 9:30 on a Friday night. It was a good bit of folks but not crowded. In addition to bowling lanes, they have an arcade area, bar, and tables for dining. We sat at one of the tables to get some food and wait for some friends to arrive. We only ordered apps since we had eaten earlier: pretzel bites and mozzarella sticks. They do have a full menu with items like wings, tacos, desserts, etc. The bites were warm, crunchy, and chewy. The warm queso complemented it nicely. They lost one star on the mozzarella sticks as they and marinara were tasteless for the most part. I also had a Moscow mule and my husband had the Red Bull lemonade. Our waitress took our order immediately and opened a tab. This is one of the few places that seems fully staffed! Everyone was super nice. The area was very clean with a welcoming vibe to it. The bowling was fun! My only complaint would be that we couldn't see the arrows in the lane because of the glare from the TV screens. We loved it overall, and will be back to visit. read more

My aunt and I went bowling and $60+ here, not much, however it was just her and I. There was a woman standing next to us and didn't say anything to us until we selected what we wanted and paid. She stated "No outside food or drinks," and I replied "not even this clear water bottle?" She became firm and said "no!" City water is disgusting and this was a normal water bottle, not branded etc. One you can refill. One thing I hope establishments realize is that the way someone's tone, response and reaction relates to an experience to a consumer/customer/guest. We did not purchase any items- after that simply basic occurrence, we wanted to bowl and leave. Did we enjoy ourselves? Yes, but wherever we go and do.. We always do. I'm always on the lookout for a great place to relax and have some fun, and Bowlero did not disappoint. I was cheerfully greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The staff was very engaging and informative. They took the time to bring me up to speed on all of the specials that they were running. They also informed me of the different league levels that were forming. I stayed a while and bowled a couple games. The decor was enjoyable and had a casual lounge feel to it. I can definitely see this as a great place for a gathering, but being there by yourself works just as well. This place was recently renovated and it shows. Everything was very clean, orderly, and polished. While I didn't try the food, I will definitely have to give it a go on my next visit. They are running some very nice food and drink specials, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you're a night bowler, then there are some great options for unlimited games. read more

I absolutely LOVED this place yesterday! Let's just start by talking about delicious food made fresh to order & about having a staff that goes above and beyond to make sure your experience there is top knotch!!!! My son's birthday party was here and as soon as we walked in, the two lanes we reserved had been set up in the cutest way ready for a party! We brought some balloons and table decor, but they had a whole buffet style set up decorated with a neutral farmhouse kind of decor behind the bowling alleys and it was very convenient for when everyone was ready to eat! The manager on duty came over and formally introduced himself to us before our party began. I believe his name was James, but I could be wrong. He was very cordial and had a great smile when he spoke to us. Then, a very sweet young lady named Morgan came over about 45 mins later while all the kids were bowling to introduce herself and let us know she will be taking care of anything we need during the party. She refilled our drinks and food constantly & even got us a cake slicer and brought out some plastic forks when it was cake time because I forgot to bring forks and a cake slicer. My son had a BLAST with his friends bowling and going into the arcade area!! Everything was just perfect!!! Each child was given a $5 credit on their arcade card and a $5 gift card to come back and bowl at Bowlero. I loved how that was part of the package too! We took some of the food home because it was so good! I mean I really didn't expect to have good food at a bowling alley but this place was great! At the end of our experience, the manager came by to ensure everything went well and even introduced the cook to us. He was very nice too! When I complimented his food, he explained how the chicken tenders are breaded fresh to order and how he changes out the oil for his fries every time too! That's why something so simple as chicken tenders and French fries can taste SOOOOO good! I mean they far succeeded my expectations! We will definitely be coming back here again! This place is weirdly expensive without having the staff to justify the cost. It was $43 for three people to bowl one game. My father almost had a stroke when I told him about the cost. The cashier originally told me that we wouldn't even be able to bowl just one game, as it would mess up her "lanage" or something like that. She said we would have to purchase the deal for three games that was $85, but when I refused and pushed to just bowl one game we were allowed to pay $43 for one game. This was my four year olds first time bowling and I didn't want to commit to playing three games in the event she didn't enjoy it, which she did not. When the ball got stuck and we needed help from an attendant, it took over ten minutes. The updates are lovely but we definitely will not ever be back. read more

So I've been here thrice now. They really fixed the old place up. I'm a fan of bowling, and this has been my local alley for years and years. A couple of years ago they did a huge remodel. I only got to visit once, before the world shut down due to covid. I like most of the décor, there are some old school pinup looking pictures on the wall, the lighting is low and funky. One thing I don't particularly care for is the deer them. I'm not sure what the heck is going on, but there are pictures of deer dressed as royalty and one with deer antlers on a bowling ball. I don't get it. As far as the lanes they are in great shape, and the new consoles are so much easier to use. They added more tvs everywhere, so you can probably watch whatever game, or show you want. I do wish they had a way to change the channel on each lane. There are now some good apps, and cocktails to order while you bowl. I've never really been one to enjoy eating after sticking my fingers in a dirty ball, but this is why I own my own ball. Perhaps I can give some a shot, I've tried most of the cocktails and they were well made, and they didn't skimp on the liquor. My big complaint is that they no longer have a little bar area with a pool table. I really enjoy having the opportunity to do either. Well that's about it, now go enjoy. Our game had some technical difficulties and we were given TWO free games each as an apology for the inconvenience. Stopped here during a weekend trip visiting a friend. The checking process was nice and easy to use our Groupon. Our issues arose when the bartender named Mandie provided us with horrible service. The advertised drink came with four different straws. We weren't given that, so I went to the bar to ask. She rudely said no we don't have colored straws. I then asked for 4 cups. She informed me that they wouldn't allow us to pour the drinks out the fishbowl into the cups. I said I understood but would still the cups so that we could separate our straws. Reluctantly she gave me the cups. But she kept monitoring us to see if we weren't following the rules. She noticed that I had my water bottle and reminded me that outside food weren't allowed because they sold water. I informed her that I wouldn't be drinking it since we did order drinks. She eventually walked away but went to go talk to the security. It then took a long while for us to receive our food. Eventually we noticed Mandie coming out the kitchen carrying a food tray. She walked down to us then started squinting her eyes and looking at the lanes for our number 9 lane. (I mean you have been working her for a while so I'm assuming you knew where each lanes was). She continued to walk pass us, went to the front, went thru the arcade and then the black ropes back to the bar. Where she sat the food down. Went behind the bar, looked at the ticket then came back around the bar. There she instructed someone else to bring our food to us. We were all flabbergasted. While eating she even came over to our section to replace the menu we took out and delivery food to the people next to us. I have a few complaints. 1. 30 minutes or so into our game, they turned the music up so loud that my friends and I had to put in ear plugs just to be able to stand being in the building. I'm 26 and he's 23, it's not like we're old people with hearing aids, we like loud music, but this was like damagingly loud. 2. The music was awful, dirty rap music most of the time. Half the lyrics censored, yet they played the "City Girls: Twerk City" music video which has barely clothed women shaking their butts in the camera. Disgusting. And not appropriate at. Because of these two things, I can't give them a higher rating. However I will say the employees were very friendly and helpful, and the whole place was clean and well organized. If we'd been able to hear ourselves think and talk to one another over the music, it would have been great. ***Update. They contacted me and sent me a voucher for 2hrs of bowling for free for two people. I went. Literally the EXACT. SAME. THING. HAPPENED. They even played the exact same raunchy music video. I complained to the employees and they initially said they couldn't change it. Another then came and said she would speak with the manager about it. This is a great new, recently renovated and updated bowling alley in the Cayce/Columbia area. They did a fantastic job making this a great spot to hang put, enjoy friendly company, good food and drinks, and entertainment. The bowling alley has plenty of nice lanes with comfortable seating to watch the large projector screens actively showing movies, sports, and music videos. There is lane side service for anything you wish to order from the menu. Prices are higher than your run of the mill, aged and outdated bowling alley per game/shoes, but given the location, enjoyable options and upgrades, and the opportunity for daily specials and an MVB club, it is certainly the best place to go and where I will look to revisit when I go bowling again! read more

The updates they have done for this bowling alley are awesome! The place doesn't even look the same and you can tell they put a ton of effort into the changes. While it is a little bit more expensive to bowl here the experience alone is worth it. You have a server assigned to your lane and they have some pretty great drinks. I was able to try the boarding pass and it was not lacking in alcohol ;). They also have some great specials for most nights to help out with the difference in cost. Check them out! read more

I've been bowling here since I was little & was amazed by the renovations! It looks amazing! We went on a Saturday during the day & all was well. However, we went Saturday night & it was terrible. The front desk assistants were great, but we got to our lane & were surrounded by drunk, sloppy college kids that were constantly on our side of the area (no room). Tried to get drinks from the bar multiple times & nobody tried to assist me until I called out to them. The atmosphere was great, other than the intoxicated individuals we had to share a section with. Most likely will not be back for night bowling on the weekends for the same reasons just stated, but also because the price was outrageous compared to other places that will let me bowl for 3+ hours for less than $10, not $20+ for 2 hours. read more

I've never had to put a credit card on file.The food tasted and looked burnt. Oil obviously needs to be changed. And I felt like we were charged differently for our food and shoe rental/game rate. Since our group was mainly black folks. They price goudge. They charged my husband $7 dollars for a beer and charged me 5$. Why 2 different prices my husband is black and I'm white. I bought 2 Groupon's on Tuesday to use tonight for my boyfriends birthday. When we got there the lady at the desk told me that the Groupon had to be scanned by 6 pm (we got there at 6:01) and that's only if they have an available lane. I told her nowhere on their website or the Groupon did it say that or we would have been there by 6. We decided to bowl a game (4 adults and 4 children) and it cost $136..,more than the Groupon for 2 hours of bowling and shoes and definitely was not worth it.If I could get a refund from Groupon I would because I don't want to go back there to use it. I just looked at both the website and voucher and no where does it say that,. I'm writing this review so that someone else doesn't buy the Groupon not knowing that stipulation. read more

The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating to my questions about the menu, the GM, Matt was extremely personable and ensured my time bowling was enjoyable. The atmosphere was great, I could de-stress and just have fun which is so needed during this uncertain time. I could tell other patrons felt the same. We arrived and our lane was broken which we reported upon starting our game but they never fixed it and they did not offer us another lane. It took 40 minutes for our ONE order of chicken tenders to come in while we were waiting to leave. When we went to cash out we waited for 15 minutes in the check out line until the lady at the register told us that there was only one line in the check in line and we would have to get to the back of that line. Nice little hidden gem. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. It's not a very big facility, but it was very enjoyable. Currently it is short staff, so it took awhile to get food/ drinks. When we did received our food, I was definitely pleased. I had the cauliflower buffalo bites and it was AMAZING! I loved the fact you don't have to prepay for everything. Ran up a nice little tab on drinks, lol. Everything is reasonably priced and I will definitely come back. read more
