I come to Segra Park almost everyday for lunch including summer days. Great place for walking the track around the retention pond especially in the fall weather. You will encounter many different species of wild birds . That you normally wouldn't see in your neighborhood or around Columbia in general. Segra park has done a great job setting up bird boxes. They have a dog park not too far from the pond which seems to have a lot of people there. Parking for now is free by the dog park and retention pond. More closer to the baseball stadium it's pay by the hour or you can use the parking garage facilities. Lots of festivals and events are held year round like beer and bbq enthusiasts like myself. Later this year will hopefully have more event spaces and a brand new food hall where foodies can unite and try new vendors new to Columbia. Recently came to see the holiday lights some friends and family here, we see them annually and look forward too it every year. When we were being served we were met with a horrible attitude and nothing but snide remarks. She was a tall dark haired woman, un-sure of the name, couldn't catch it over her angry demeanor. We had an amazing time at the game. It was my children's first time at the park and they loved it. We didn't win the game but the experience was fantastic. They loved sitting in the stands and cheering while "enjoying America's pastime." It was funny to hear them say that over and over again. We were lucky enough to see fireworks while we were at the game and it was a great way to end the night. The park is cash free so make sure you are prepared. The tickets are reasonably priced but if you buy them online there is a processing fee per ticket. read more

What a great addition to Columbia. As a native Sandlapper we loved going to see The Bombers as a kiddo. I was thrilled when my Pops told me about the latest addition of the Fireflies. We've been several times in the past but recently relocated back to Columbia from Atlanta. We took our boys for a game on Sunday. The park is well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is a ballpark worth visiting! We even got to play a game in between innings. This made my boys so happy as the the recent move has been tough. The stadium is beautiful and very fan friendly. It's very nice by minor league standards as well. Ample food options, cheap parking, cheap tickets, not a bad seat in the house! Lots of different type of arrangements provide fans with choices. You can sit at a table, on the grass, in standard seating or pay a slight premium for padded seats. Conference rooms are available to rent year round. My only knocks are that I'd like a few more healthy food choices and beer choices, though the food is good. Another complaint is that of you sit in the first few rows on the first and third base line the nets are a bit distracting. Last the police don't do a good job directing traffic. (+) A fantastic ballpark experience. First, the ushers are super friendly. Second, the kids' area is $10 all-you-can-bounce. One of the ushers helped us to upgrade to a left field high top table right next to the kids' area. It was great to have the kids doing their own thing while still being able to watch the game. It's a fairly new ballpark, but prices are surprisingly reasonable. (-) There's really nothing close to the ballpark. It's on the campus of an abandoned mental institution that is being redeveloped as an entertainment district. I assume this will be remedied in the coming years. read more

Great Columbia Ballpark. The city has spent some big bucks building this great facility. Lots of concession stands, bathrooms, and I love that all alcohol beverages are served. They're great about keeping the kids entertained. Always something going on. Lots of fun. Love how you cab rent out the club level for parties for non baseball events. The shuttle system from the parking lots is also nice. Lots of workers .... actually I think they are over staffed. Somewhere, somehow there needs to be some money to get the parking lot paved. First time and last time at a Fireflies game. Was so excited for free shirt night. What they don't tell you is it takes 45 minutes to get a parking spot because of mass disorganization and construction. So by the time we got there the freebies for the first 1,000 people were long gone. read more

LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this stadium! My seven-year-old son and I have attended four games so far. Each time we attend a game, we see someone we know. We love staying for the fireworks on the weekend games and of course he has to run the bases after each game. We usually get the $10 seats but we had to sit on the berm for the Fourth of July- it was all good. Tuesdays are great because you can get hotdogs, popcorn, and sodas for only two dollars each! 1- You are charged $5 to park in an un-mowed field/construction zone. Do the Fireflies even own this area? Is it legal? 2- Kids are not allowed to roll or play on the grass hill, which is meant for kids and families. 3- This is a single A team. Stop charging $8 for a beer. 4- The Bull Street development where this is located offers nothing other than an ATM and ghost filled remnants of buildings. Really neat place. I've been a couple of times now, and we had lots of fun. They often have some kind of neat giveaway, like grasshoppers, or free hat. Try to go when they have fireworks, it is worth it. I'd like to see them ad a few more concerts, because this park does not get used enough. The concessions were pretty good. Try the ghost-pepper tenders and fries. I couldn't finish them, but I did manage about half of them. Make sure to have a beer or a glass of milk handy. read more

Went to a Columbia Fireflies game here for first time. They need to work on parking situation. Parking is a dirt lot under a bunch of trees. I was concerned that I was going to get mugged getting back to my car. The walk from the parking to the Stadium was ten minutes minimum uphill in the dark. We had seats behind home plate. The stadium itself was spacious but navigating the concourse with all the food stations was a challenge. The baseball was worth it. The grounds crew does a "show" during the mid game infield drag which was hilarious. It was the opening weekend and fireworks were awesome. Worth staying after the game. Segra Park's bag policy is completely ridiculous! I had the clear bag with a smaller leather bag inside that contained wipes, cards and cash that were easy to see. I was told I could empty all the contents in my smaller bag to the clear one and leave the leather bag outside. I offered to empty ALL contents into the clear bag with security watching and fold the other bag up so all contents could be seen as the leather bag was foldable. I have entered multiple venues (including KC Royals) in the past year with this same clear and small bag and they've had the common sense to check it and I enter the event with NO issues. I was forced to take the small soft leather bag back to our car. Great first impression. Gate security matters but so does common sense! read more

For a class A minor league team, this was a nice baseball stadium. The bathrooms were clean. The seats and facility looked new and were clean. The store inside the park sold shirts and caps. Here for a HS football game. It looks like a nice baseball stadium, but it is a single use stadium. Low level end zone seats with a net in front of the seats. Not an enjoyable venue. I'd rather see football at a high school field. Stick to what you were designed for. read more

Do not use them. Our transition to Spirit Communications was a terrible day, it took 3/4 of a day, blew out our router, deliverables were not met, when we complained we were ignored. The transition was in May of 2016, I notified them the next day that we did not get what was in our contract and not one single person contacted me. It took 2 months to get an audience with a rep who agreed the whole process was terrible and people were fired. Our invoices are wrong as well. Rep left and was never heard from again. Two more months and I reach out because no one has contacted me for resolution and nothing. Another month goes by and finally accounting reaches out to find out why we are not paying our bill. When explained that deliverables not met and no one will get back to me they start telling me my claim is denied and I need to pay to avoid collections. Yeah, don't use them! read more
