I booked PlayHub for my daughter's 6th birthday, and it was truly a 12/10 experience for everyone! The venue is impeccably clean, incredibly spacious, and offers so many different play experiences that kept all the kids entertained the entire time. The owner was also exceptionally accommodating and made the entire process easy and stress-free. One feature I especially appreciated was the security cameras positioned throughout the play structures, which allowed parents to comfortably keep an eye on their children from the main seating area without having to follow them around. This was one of the best party venues we've experienced, and I'm pretty sure it will be our go-to destination for celebrating all of my kids' birthdays for years to come! read more

I think this place is clean and equipment is in fairly decent shape. I would say, however that it is kind of small and due to its size, I would say it is a little overpriced. $30 is a little much for a small place like this in my opinion. I do think though that it's a pretty fun place for kids. I took him on a weekday so it was on the quiet side. There were probably 10 other kids. I imagine on weekends, it gets a little more crowded. If it got to 20 kids, kids would be bumping into each other left and right. And of course, there will be parents in there too, so it would be even more compacted. In my humble opinion, based on all the factors mentioned, I think $20 is a more appropriate amount to charge per child. Would I return? Maybe. But then I realize that it'll be $60 to bring both of my kids and I'm pretty sure that would likely change my mind. read more

So, I did it. I came back and indeed booked my kids' birthday party here. It was worth every penny. I had always loved how well-lit the facility was, and the size is perfect. There is a soccer field, a pretend kitchen/grocery store/doctor's office. They have a train and some motorcycles. There is a ball pit, a foam pit, and a climbing wall. They also have a tiny cafe area that sells kids' snacks, drinks, and COFFFEEE for the adults. This is a family-run facility and it shows. The whole family helped with the set-up, anything my guests needed, and cleanup. They came out to my car with a dolly and helped load everything for the party and wheeled it into the party room. They handled all the breakdown - sweeping, wiping, mopping, trash. I forgot tablecloths and they provided us with some too. My kids didn't want to leave. I had to promise that we would come back, and I intend to make good on my promise. Also, this place is CLEAN. The bathrooms are clean. The play area is clean. The tables are clean. What matters most: is safety, cleaniness and a safe space for everyone to make memories. I visited recently to meet up with my bestie and her little. Growing up, our fun space was chuckie cheese, now decades and decades later the newest generation has PlayHub and I can honestly say, I love it. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Moein the owner. Immediately, waivers are signed and socks have to be purchased. I wondered why, and i was informed it's to maintain safety and liability. So, once socks were purchased, we sat and put everything on. There are little cubbies where personal items can be placed, including shoes, water bottles, etc. There is no food or drink while inside designated play areas. But, there are designated areas where food and drink are allowed. Everything is pristine, clean and sanitized and I LOVEEE THIS! WHY? Peace of mind that the littles are playing in a clean area, and that adults are also not being overly exposed to stuff since everyone knows, preschools or any area with munchkins are hosts for god knows what. Literal Petrie dishes. I love how everything is interactive, with different areas having different themes. Since I am unable to interact in certain areas due mobility issues, it was fun just to watch him having fun. My bestie recently also had a party here for her 3-year-old and rented out the entire place. Looking at her photos and speaking with her after she had nothing but rave reviews about her experience as well. I wish Moein and everyone at their business the best of luck. A very cramped but interesting door playground that makes the best use of the limited space. When we arrived the owner or manager was very kind and indicated for us to try out the play gym before deciding whether or not to pay for the day or for the month. The best parts about this place is that it was clean and there was a ton of imaginative play from there being a pretend doctors office, pretend grocery store and a pretend kitchen to there being a large ball pit and four slides that parallel each other so friends can slide down at the same time. The cramped feeling is what keeps me from giving this 5 stars because aside from limited seating a large amount of parents were forced to basically stand on the perimeter and it just seemed like an atmosphere that would potentially overwhelm many kids. There should be more places for parents to sit so they aren't creating an imposing barrier to kids to get on or get off the playground equipment. It was an okay playplace. Worth trying out if you have littles but it's a little too far for us to visit. We wanted to try out a new playplace and this location had just opened a couple months prior to our visit! The price is a little higher compared to other indoor playgrounds but not too much higher. It is a bit smaller, however, and a good amount of the first floor in the main area were attractions that you had to pay extra for. My daughters are 5 and 7 and the playground was recommended for up to 8-10. I have to say, that max age range is generous. My 7 year old enjoyed herself but she was definitely too big for most of the playground. I would say this place is ideal for 4 and under. Parents, be prepared to actually go into the playground with them. There are signs that say kids need to be accompanied in the playground but I figured my 5 and 7 year old were ok on their own. Now, this wasn't the fault of the venue but this has never happened before so I have to mention it: apparently there was an unsupervised 3 or 4 year old boy who went on a rampage in the play area and threw toys and hit my little 5 year old!! He would have hurt her more but thankfully my 7 year old protected her and brought my 5 year old to me right away. Of course, the mom didn't care and scolded the kid a tiny bit and then let him go play. So after that incident we pretty much had to leave. I docked a star for many reasons, but a big reason was that the zip line was already broken. Also, the play kitchen area sink was already broken and it was just covered up with a piece of plastic and some tape. So that entire area was kind of wasted. Also, the train that we had to pay for only runs once every hour so we had to wait around because we didn't want to wait an hour for the next ride. I get it, they can't run the train non-stop because it's just not that big a place to get a crowd for the train, but maybe put something there that doesn't cost extra. The motorcycles that cost extra were also a little disappointing. My 7 year old understood it ok but my 5 year old kept getting stuck and I nearly broke my back trying to fix her car and move it in the right direction. The owners were very kind and attentive, I really want to give this place 5 stars because I can tell they put a lot of love and work into making this place great but it's just not quite there yet compared to other indoor playgrounds. Maybe if they advertised and catered this place for kids 5 and under only it would be a lot better. There is a fun wall where kids can stick Lego duplos to it to make pictures and spell words but we were told to get out of the area because it was only for kids 3 and under. Even tho that activity was more for older kids and my daughter wasn't bothering the younger kids. So that was a bummer too. The sign where it said 3 and under was super small so I was embarrassed in front of the other moms when the owner told me to take my daughter out of that section. I do have to shout out how generous it was of the owners to offer complimentary coffee! It was super helpful since I ended up having to play in the playplace a lot with my girls. It was the pick-me-up I needed. We won't be coming to this location again simply because my girls are too old for it and it's too far a distance to make the visit worth it. But if you have young kids I do recommend trying this place out at least once! It looked like a lot of the moms with young kids come all the time. read more

What a fun place! We came here for a birthday party and had a blast. It's not the tallest or biggest place, but they really use the space and layout well to pack a lot of activities for the kids in there. We did need to wear Playhub grippy socks (other grippy socks were not allowed), but that was included in the party package. They also have a free coffee/tea station. The one main party area off to the right is a good size. Enough to fit a couple of buffet tables and seat a bunch of kids and parents. The staff there was pretty attentive and tried to keep us to the time allotted for the party. The play area itself has a bunch: a climbing wall, trampoline basketball, soccer, swings, ball pit with an interactive screen game, a pretend city, zipline, and others. This place is hands-down the BEST children's play gym we've been to! From the moment we walked in, there was so much to explore- slides, a ball pit, basketball area, a train ride, and adorable imaginative play stations like a kitchen, grocery store, and even a little doctor's office. There were also obstacle-style gym sections that kept my 16-month-old completely engaged. And let me tell you- my toddler is fearless. Even though he was younger than a lot of the kids there, he dove right into everything and tackled the courses like a pro. Honestly, I got a workout myself just trying to keep up with him! The facility itself was super clean (10/10 for the changing room ), and they have snacks available for purchase, which came in clutch- I grabbed a yogurt last minute since I forgot to pack a backup. The train ride is an extra $2, but it is 100% worth it. Mainly because it was my baby's first train ride, and he absolutely loved it- such a special moment, I would take him on it again in the future. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the man working the front and running the train (I believe he's the owner). He was AMAZING. You can tell he genuinely cares about the families who come in. My toddler was having a full-on meltdown when we arrived (because, of course, he wanted to play immediately and not sit still for socks ), and the owner stepped in to help without hesitation. If you've ever dealt with toddler "alligator rolls," you know how real that struggle is- his help meant so much. Quick heads up: adults also need to wear socks, and they sell them there, you can't wear your own personal socks. From what I understand, it's a one-time purchase and you can bring them back after washing for future visits- but definitely ask questions when you arrive since every place has different rules. Some require their own socks, others are okay with any grip socks. This place require purchasing their grip socks! Asking ahead will save you time! Traveling solo with a toddler all day is no joke. We drove from San Diego to visit a friend, and I really wanted my son to have a fun outlet before the long drive back- and this place delivered beyond expectations. I've tried about 8 different play gyms from OC to SD, and this one is by far my favorite. We stayed the full 2 hours because we were having that much fun. My son was all smiles and giggles the entire time, and honestly, so was I. Yes, it's a little pricier compared to other play gyms- but it is absolutely worth it. This will definitely be our go-to spot anytime we're back in OC. I will start my review with the only positive. It's clean. Now for the long list of why you shouldn't come to this place. 1. Owner/operator is rude and disrespectful. As we were leaving he asked if we enjoyed it. We told him that we didn't appreciate being hit with the sneaky "you've got to buy everyone a pair of our $3 socks in order to enter". Boy did that piss him off. He went in to total defensive mode fighting with us about why. 2. The sneaky sock fee that will hit you with $3 per pair to enter. No one else does this and it's just another way for them to nickle and dime the customer. 3. It's hot in there! I saw that they had their thermostat set to 72. The whole point was to go and get out of the heat. But inside it's roasting. Especially when running and playing. Keeping their electric bill down is more important than guest comfort. Penny pinching yet again. 4. Very small. For $36 dollars (had to buy the socks of course) it's way overpriced. Not a whole lot to do: there are much larger indoor playgrounds in the area that have much better pricing. So out of 5 criteria only one was worthy of a star. Huge fan of this place! First and foremost the staff is incredible! There was a lady in the front named Keera and she is absolutely a doll! There are snacks, pouches and drinks for all ages! Complimentary coffee and an area for both older kids (3/4/5+) and littles ( under 2). Since it wasn't too busy we roamed the older area with our 11 month old. She was of course extremely watched by us because there are places to get her fingers stuck, fall down holes, etc. so I don't recommend letting your baby in the older area unless it's practically empty and you are going to be with them 100000% of the time watching them like a hawk! I had a 10 year old with me too and he enjoyed swinging around like a monkey. There were 2 kids (10 & 11 month old) and 3 adults in our group so we felt safe with our little since we had her watched from all angles. Only been here twice, but currently my favorite indoor play place in this area. It more expensive than the other play places in the area bc they only offer 2 hours minimum. But I feel that this space is perfect for my young toddlers. It's not too large, the space is used really well, and the staff is literally always cleaning around you. There's enough surface area for them to run around, but not big enough to lose them. My kids love the screen area that has the game where they can throw the balls to moving objects. A brand new indoor Playground in South of OC! If you have ever been to Kids and coffee in Oceanside, you would know how Orange County lacks this type of business. But the wait is over! (Thank God!) The facility is super clean and bright! The owners/staff are super friendly and they treat the kids like family. I would gladly pay $10 more for 2 hours here than driving 2 hours to get to Oceanside not to mention paying $5 a gallon gas! They do offer montly membership which seemed very reasonable! After going there once, I will for sure sign up for their membership next time. I am so happy that I don't have to drive far to get to here! I will be a regular for YEARS to come! read more

This place was PERFECT for my three year old and 1.5 yr old. It def beats the really big play lands out here that my kids can get lost in. I'm usually by myself and I felt like they were both really safe here. Also it was super clean and had a little bit of everything - from a soft, more baby friendly area; the foam pits; the play screens; the train and a coloring area. The staff was unheard-of amazing. First, at Playhub, we had an excellent experience playing with our children at this new indoor playground. From the moment we walked in the door, the new owners greeted us warmly at the front and assisted us to get started. I spoke with one of the owners, Kiara, who was friendly and learned that she handled the aesthetically pleasing interior design. I really loved how cute and clean everything was! Second, my husband, 3 year old, and my 21 month old son and I, had an absolute blast playing altogether. I was impressed by how well designed everything was, because there were many different activities to do that were well thought out. I met Moein, one of the owners, who I learned is an architect, which made sense because I was impressed by how well he and his wife designed Playhub. For example, all of us loved playing on the slide that lights up and lands in a large ball pit, which is adjacent to a large projector that you can throw balls at, similar to a fun video game! There were many different creative activities that fit in well within the space. Additionally, my three year old son was obsessed with climbing the rock wall, playing on the mini soccer field upstairs, and the drivable motorcycle/cars. He also played with the well designed and adorable kitchen, doctor, and dentist play areas. My 21 month old especially loved the slide and ball bit, along with the coup cars, that he could drive around on. The train was so cute, and my toddler boys enjoyed counting the butterflies on it. Everything was very clean and safe. I was impressed that they had employees assist the children with rides, and when they were not assisting children, they were cleaning and organizing the entire time I was there.
