Just from visiting this spot a couple times on separate occasions, I would definitely consider this…read morethe best indoor spot I have ever seen for a toddler. It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.

Disappointing experience - not the same as before…read more I visited Candeeland Carlsbad yesterday with my 5-year-old son, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I want to start by saying the front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming. However, the rest of the staff completely changed the tone of our visit. They were consistently rude and made us feel not welcomed there. I've been there before and had a very different experience, so this was surprising. This time, I was not allowed to sit at the tables with my coffee and reusable water bottle, even though they sell drinks and snacks on-site and I've done this on previous visits. I had no intention of taking anything into the play structures, just sitting at the tables. I also planned to do some light work on my computer while my son played, something I've done there before, but I was told that wasn't allowed either. I was told I had to stay with my son at all times. The way this was communicated was the most frustrating part. The staff came across as dismissive and unwelcoming, not just to me but to other families as well. I ended up speaking with the assistant manager because the situation felt so uncomfortable. As I was leaving, another family actually thanked me for saying something because they were feeling the same way, which says a lot. I had been planning to host my son's birthday party there in June, but after this experience, I will definitely be making other plans. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this place has potential, but the customer experience needs a lot of improvement.

Air conditioning is on full blast which is a necessity especially with all the people and the body heat that's generated here. Food and drink are reasonably priced. Be back soon.

Then the boys were given tags that showed what time their play was set to end. The play area is huge with many different obstacle courses & slides. The main obstacle course is set up with a timer. The boys loved it. Some of the adults also did the obstacle course which was hilarious. The staff are friendly & monitor the play area to make sure kids are using equipment properly. Overall, a great experience. Glad we were the first party as it began to get crowded towards the end. Recommend going when it first opens at 10. Only "negative" was adults who needed socks had to buy for $2 & had to use a credit card for transaction. Seems odd that you can't use cash.

I have never quite witnessed so many kids ages 7-12 with so much haphazard recklessness, running full speed in every imaginable direction. All of them. Imagine, 150 kids running full speed in every direction. Then a large handful of adults or parents running in every imaginable OPPOSITE direction. I saw several kids slam into another kid as they go around an obstacle on the floor. I care, no concern. I also saw two kids running, NO . . . now walking bleeding from their nose and another from the mouth. This should be outlawed. CritDicks

There's a library and even a small section for the super young ones. You can easily spend the whole day here, so I'd definitely recommend the 10-day pass if you plan on visiting often. One of the better indoor playgrounds in the area and would also make a great birthday party spot. A few things I wish were improved: more staff to help manage the chaos, better seating management around the café area, and a few high chairs for little ones. A lot of tables were taken up by water bottles and personal items, which made it hard for families who actually wanted to sit and eat. It'd also help if more parents kept a closer eye on their kids instead of being on their phones. Overall though, still a really fun spot for kids with lots to do.

There is a giant multi-level play gym tunnel/maze structure with several interactive play areas within including basketball, axe throwing, merry-go-round, obstacle course, slides, ball pits and more. You can easily lose sight of your kid if you aren't paying attention. They do have employees within to help keep the area clean. There are interactive video games including a horse racing game and a firefighter game which shoots real water (this was a favorite for the kiddo!). There are pretend city play areas including a market where you can actually scan the fruits and vegetables, a doctor's office with an interactive CT machine, an auto mechanic, and library with real books. There is even an area where you "milk" cows by filling up bottles of water. There is a water play area where they provide jackets and water boots. They even have a pretend carwash. There is a sand pit with remote control construction vehicles inside. This was a neat idea but I foresee maintenance issues. Already I noticed the battery is one of excavators had died mid-use and the wheels on the trucks weren't moving properly. There is a cafe which serves the typical kid favorite foods. There are multiple rooms for private parties. Many other things that I'm forgetting. The $35 price tag per kid and $6 per adult isn't cheap, but I think you get pretty good value for all they have to offer. It's especially nice that everything is still so shiny and new. My only hope is that they can maintain the quality because this place will be very popular and the kids are going to destroy it.

Review challenge 58/365 Day Challenge…read more We frequently visit UA for casual Play dates or bday celebration either it's for a friend or a mini celebration for my 2 youngest kids, this past year. Especially hearing that there's a new attraction SKYRIDER that opened mid September 2025, my son came here w 2 of his closet bud to celebrate his bday. They were so excited to ride the Skyrider, it's a zip line across partial of the park. I highly definitely recommend this indoor playground. It's probably the best one in OC. We've gone to a lot the past years. This place has so much for your kids to do. Met the manager Terry and Sally. They are both amazing and friendly. Always there to answer your questions and needs. Our school Mabel Paine had a day of fundraising here also. UA loves to support and gives back to the community. Love a friendly oriented company. What's awesome is they now have a security here that I love since it's open. Security really nice. The indoor playground is pretty clean and well taken care of. Love the mascot Urbie. He's also cool with the kids. We are regulars here and definitely plan to return. They have great yearly membership at a great value. Must check it out!

Natalie was on top of it all - she reviewed my food order one last time day of to ensure all was accurate (we communicated food allergies and she made sure the right pizza crusts/ orders were in place - Thank you this truly meant a lot) . She was so sweet and attentive she answered all my questions and executed the party flow perfectly. Andre did an amazing job getting my guests checked it and set with wristbands/socks. They both were patient and welcoming! They truly made this such an unforgettable fun, smooth and well organized experience for us! THANK YOU!
