He is almost 6 years old, and I'm always looking for fun ideas/things we can do on weekends. We drove here from Santa Monica (about an hour). Parking is located a few minutes away from the farm. Keep moving down the trail, and you will find it. We bought tickets online, so the check-in process was easy. We purchased a veggie basket to feed the animals, and we paid some extra $$$ so my son can ride the tractor and play on the excavator. There is also a playground on site and a horse ride. It was nice, but after an hour, my son asked to leave. Younger kids will enjoy it more. It took us 1.5 hours to drive back, so we spent more time on the road than actually experiencing the farm. What I like is that there are variety of shops and restaurants around the farm, and it's cute. Boutiques to shop for jewelry, clothes, shoes, HomeGoods, all kinds of stuff, so that was really nice.

There are 2 benches by the play structure and 1 by the swings. However, they also have a palm tree lined "bench" on Golden Lantern side. This area provides some shade, otherwise, not shaded. It's near the ocean though so not very hot. It is gated and small so easy to keep an eye on kids. There are 2 trash cans and no water fountain. I recommend this park if your kids like pirate ships and for a relatively short play time.

They do have a free trial, which is great. The woman who runs it, a former preschool teacher, greeted us personally. All of the staff made a point to say hello and ask my child's name. Instead of just watching the children play, the staff engaged with the kids, which was awesome. It wasn't super busy, because they limit the amount of kids that can register. Parent participation is mandatory, no shoes, that's about it. They have an awesome unisex bathroom, with a changing table and different toilet like things for each different stage. There's a quiet room, an art and activity box room, a big room with a slide and different play areas like a puppet theatre and a little kitchen. They also have costumes and mostly anything a young child could want. My daughter had so much fun! We will be back next time we visit in San Clemente.

When i drove up to santa ana (the next day), with an invoice of 6 habrosas there were only 4 in stock. I understand that Corys prefer larger groups. Had it been disclosed ahead of time that there were only 4 corys, i would not have driven up from SD to Santa ana and the INVOICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED BY THE SELLER If there is not enough stock. There were not even enough otos as i requested. -This wastes my 3 hours of round trip driving (100+ miles) and gas to be short changed. ----------------- -i will have to report this to the BBB as well. -after speaking directly with Nolan, i will wait for his business to rectify this situation before i take additional actions. --------------- Edit on 12/2 after seller's response below: 1. 85 miles or 100 is an approximate. It is a trivial point given that it is a long distance drive from sd to santa ana. The crux of the matter is that you sold me 4 cories when you knew ahead of time i wanted 6. I acknowledge you are closed on Wednesday. You had employees in the shop anyway on Wednesday--they said they had to come in anyway to feed the fish for the long weekend whether i came or not. 2. The invoice i received is an automated email invoice. I can email it to you like. It has 6 cories written on it, not 4. And to your reply i am not looking for other cories, iam looking for the habrosas. 3. You knew i was there to pick up six (that is why the invoice that you personally emailed me stated 6 habrosas, which you wanted me to pay). So Eiither you or your employees did not take stock before you emailed me an invoice or you knew ahead of time that you did NOT have 6 and tried to sell me what you have. 4. The 4 habrosas and the oto cats have SEVERE red gills when they were pre-packed in bags upon my arrival. Either this is due high ammonia or red gills disease. I regret buying them. 5. A local fish store in san diego says it is bacterial and recommends medicine treatment. Since the day i picked them up They have been in medicinal treatment and it is nearly a week where the red gills have been present even with daily water changes and 0 ammonia.. I never had this experience with other local fish stores. 6 aside, i have received unsolicited yelp correspondence from your employee. Note i was courteous with your employees. They did not need to initiate any involvement in yelp which was not appreciated. 7. The only correspondence was that you would send 2 cories free of charge on monday and i would not take further action until we resolve this problem. 8. Please do not send the 2 cories, i am wary of the quality of care from your shop given the state of the cories and oto cats. Going forward I will not be ordering from this "guppy mill". And i will report this to the bbb and to other social media sites

I looked online and found very few people in US who works with the blue blocks and luckily one of the people was Becky in Orange County. How lucky! She was very professional and attentive to all my messages concerning my event. All kids enjoyed the blue blocks and they had to use their imagination to build whatever they want and it kept them really busy all afternoon!! Perfect!!
