We stopped in on a Tuesday night and opted to sit at the bar since it wasn't busy. Something important to note is that when we arrived, the music was playing softly in the background. While the prices were decent, the service was not. Our waitress came over to us after our appetizers arrived, I asked for a refill, we made eye contact, she ignored me, and turned around. It took another ten minutes before I was able to get a refill, and she never asked again for the rest of the time we were there. The people sitting beside us arrived later and ordered similar food to us, and they somehow received their food quite some time before ours came out. I am almost certain the bartender forgot to put in our order. Halfway through our meal (which was okay at best), someone turned the music up so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. I'm pretty sure "Brandy, You're A Fine Girl" played three times in a 30-minute window. It felt like we were intruding on a private party despite there being maybe seven other people at the bar. Despite clearly being done with our food, it took us another 30 minutes to get our checks. If you're looking for cheap bar food and don't mind repetitive music at varying levels of volume and being ignored by your bartender, give Sidelines a try.

Wings were HUGE and full of sauce. Got the Awesome Sauce (probably my favorite now), Bourbon Blaze (sweet with a tiny bit of heat) and Sweet Chili (not a ton of flavor).

I can't remember the name of my burger but it was the one with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños and banana peppers plus a spicy mayo.

They had a heated rooftop and DJ at the bottom. There were two bartenders working when I went. At the front, they had a wheel you could spin for $8 for a randomized drink. They also do trivia on Tuesday I believe. I got the curry poutine fries, which I've gotten from another restaurant before and they were amazing. I think this place puts a lot of sauce and cheese on but I think it would taste better if it had the curry on the bottom and had crispy fries to delay the time they get soggy. It was topped with green onions which was nice and a good fresh flavor addition. It's a huge platter of fries for $16 though - great to share for a group. I think their wing deal is worth trying - 10 wings for $15 and a MYRIAD of flavors to pick from.

We were able to sit wherever . Our server was not super attentive. We had to flag him down multiple times for different things (to place our order, to ask for silverware, for the check, etc). The food was good. I got the pork belly bites and the Mac and cheese. The food was good, but I didn't probably would just get food at their food truck in the future.

Very large area for seating as well as darts and other games to play. I chose to order the Buffalo chicken wrap and fries. Really good fries and ranch! The buffalo chicken wrap was also really good. One of our guests ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. This was amazing as we all had a bite. I want to return to have a full one to myself. We had nachos for an appetizer and were underwhelmed. The chips were soft and didn't hold any toppings. The toppings were also kind of lack luster in my opinion. I wouldn't order them again. The wings were perfect and the hot garlic parm was really good. We also had seltzers and mixed drinks. Overall great place to have a quick bite and drinks.

The interior is painted black and has many sports stations and Keno games tuned in on the multitude of tv's. There are high top tables, a huge bar and a section of low top tables. A lot of families were gathered to eat and drink which was nice to see. Our waiter was really terrific! He was very patient, attentive and answered our questions about the large menu. We tried some wings (lemon pepper that were ridiculously coated with salt and nearly inedible and the Carolina Gold that were good) and the onion rings that were really good with big slices of onion in crispy batter. The California wrap was tasty but didn't really match what was described on the menu. It was filled with a 1/2 pound of turkey and bacon (who doesn't like bacon, right?) and a disappointing teeny tiny bit of lettuce tomato and avacado. The balance of meat to veggies was a little off. They have a great selection of beer and liquors but no wines listed that we could see. Overall, Shenanigans is a fun place for bar food and sports viewing.
