Not one but TWO team members readily available to assist from the younger kids (5-7) to my son and his friends (10-13). We ALL had an incredible time. We generally do nice size parties for our kids and I have to say this was probably the most at ease I've ever been - and with home court advantage to boot!! Excellent experience across the board - I'd HIGHLY recommend and will definitely book again!!!! Huge thank you to the MXG team for making my sons party one to forever remember!

The parents had fun with the much needed quite time as well

Great little place of nostalgia with reasonably priced items - I would say this Naperville location has the better selection (compared to the Lombard/Downer's Grove location) of DVDS/BLU-RAYS and video games and tons of old systems and paraphernalia you may need. They do have a small vinyl selection and an average sized used cd area, but it's not that large. You CAN still find some bargains for either, but it's just your average selection of general releases for the most part. Look for their sale and specials prices (buy 2, get the 3rd free for example on cds or dvds), especially between October and New Years. On Black Friday and Black Saturday for example, they had specials of like all dvds and used cds 70% off! I went on Black Friday and walked out with about 10 decent used cds and old dvds for under $12! Can't beat that! Nice selection of general music posters and POP figures, too. As stated, cool place to come for your old (or new) video gaming needs or if you want to stock up on used cds or dvds. They do buy your old stuff, but generally speaking you won't get much for it (you'll get more in store credit), but if you want to dump off a boatload of stuff you have no need for and don't want to deal with EBAY or Craigslist, won't hurt to stop here and see what you'll get. I come here often. Again, look for their sales especially around Black Friday and the holiday months as you can really "stock up" and pay a minimal price.

I will give them 1 star because of the pleasant guy who booked my party but if it wasn't for him,…read moreI'd give 0 if possible. 1. I tried to confirm my party a week in advance and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I received a text from what I thought was a robot? Still not sure if it was but they said they didn't have my reservation despite me saying they had my deposit. Gave me a number to call, which I did 2x and left voicemails, no response. I honestly thought I was getting scammed. 2. They state you need 7 car lengths of room for the truck. You probably only need about 4. The gaming trailer pulled up, hooked up to a Tacoma that was clearly too small to be pulling it. The back end of his truck was tilted down and looked very unprofessional with his busted taillight. The trailer was very dirty on the outside. 3. When I booked this party, I mentioned I needed WiFi because it's a Fortnite birthday. The gaming host didn't complete the update by the time he came to my party and told me it was going to take 4 hours, but 1 TV outside the trailer had it. So now, the birthday boy has to play OUTSIDE the trailer by himself while all his friends were inside. 4. The controllers weren't working. So now my son is almost in tears because he patiently waited an hour (which we only had the trailer for 2 hours) to play his favorite game on his birthday and it still wasn't working. I had to use my own gaming controllers. 5. The "Gaming coach" was a joke. There was literally no interaction with the kids at all. I think he said 3 words the entire time he was here. He was scrolling on his phone the entire time. Yes, I did call. Yes, they gave me $175 off. But it's still not right. I throw big parties for my kids every year and this is the first year I am truly disappointed & still out $350 for a terrible experience. The staff was extremely helpful but Barnes and Nobles does not go beyond their catalog. Amazon.com includes many more titles which is unfortunate for this bricks and mortar store. I was amazed with the positive changes in the store. They are trying to fill niches that you will not find in other places any more. They still have many books. The store has added more board games and school supplies. They still carry CDs as well as vinyl records. The cafe is a great place to go for a snack or for lunch. I believe we still need places like Barnes and Nobles for the community it develops as well as the ability to check a book out before you buy it.
