If I could give zero stars, I would. The owner is callous and uncaring. He "didn't have me on the calendar" for my son's 13th birthday this Saturday, April 20th. I had to fight just to get him to come up with a solution. He let Freudian slip that "this happens all the time". But the truth is that he got better offers later on down the time, and was able to make more money that day if he "lost my reservation". I reserved the gaming truck on March 2nd, (YES MARCH 2ND AND HE ACCEPTED MY DEPOSIT WHICH RESERVED THE DATE AND TIME) I heard nothing from him leading up and finally when I called him the morning of my son's party he said he was booked for that day and we were not on the calendar. He literally said "I'm sorry..." the end. It wasn't until I told him that I would not accept his "sorry" that he felt obligated to come up with a resolution. We went back and forth and then it came to my attention that he booked 3 parties during my timeslot, which is clearly the real reason he lost my reservation. He wanted to make more money that day, period!! The only option was to move my son's 13th party to Chasers Laser Tag in NAPERVILLE from DeKalb, so needless to say some kids couldn't come because even though we rented a SUV, it was a Saturday, last minute, and not many options were available. We even drove 45 minutes to and from a rental place just to get a SUV big enough. Since not everyone could attend we ended up with too much food that is currently going to waste, couldn't use all my decorations because they were specifically meant for my front yard. The party room's decorations were and looked thrown together and awful, so awful that I did not even take pictures of it, because we were short on time and literally unprepared for anything other than the party being at our house. Like I said BOB, ruined my son's 13th birthday and had no guilt once-so-ever. I would only recommend this gaming truck if you have a backup plan, because he could easily forget you on the calendar if something better comes along, and "it happens all the time"--his words not mine. read more

Owner called and cancelled two days before my son's birthday which left us scrambling to find another truck. Very unprofessional to cancel only two days before saying they didn't know they double booked. My guess is someone offered them more money as we booked over 3 weeks in advance We were refunded our money and owner was apologetic but be careful if you rent from this company based on our experience. We just had a party for our son last night with Windy City! I am so impressed! Dave and his assistant were here early and we live way North up by the WI border. The truck is so clean and Dave and his assistant Jack are so good with the kids! Honestly this was a great company. We called Dave the week before of our party not having planned anything for the kids. All of a sudden I have 20-plus kids showing up, and when i had originally called Dave I only had 15. He handled the additional kids with ease and fairness that was awesome. They said they and 2 different trucks to choose from, but when I talked to the owner he said that wasn't true, only for the summer. They CLEARLY don't communicate amongst one another.
