Placed the order on December 9th and received confirmation that the order was expected to deliver between December 14th - 17th. The tracking kept saying that the USPS ticket had been generated but no product had been presented for delivery. Despite my inquiries, it is now December 23rd and the book has not been shipped (very disappointing) and there has been no response from Lyric Vibes. Looks like this Christmas present will not be received this year. Biblio (and apparently B & N) should be more particular about who they are doing business with. I would not recommend buying anything from this seller.

Got some music related things from this locally owned store in Batavia. It has everything from…read moreinstruments to posters, and lots more. Kiss The Sky has tons of music too, mostly on vinyl. A cluttered mess but worth it if having the time to look around. The staff is pretty knowledgeable about artists and instruments. Cool place for anyone who likes music stores, and especially the ones filled with assorted crap. It's probably the worst thing about it. Takes so long going through everything and you can lose track of time. Looked through a lot of rolled up posters that were wrapped in plastic. These had no labels saying what they were. Of course the staff didn't even know. This is one example of the lack of organization. Oh well, it's still cool. The prices on most things are okay. Has some pretty cool things of course. It's located at First Street and Water Street downtown. This is a pretty cluttered store but it's fun if you like this kind of stuff.

The staff was extremely helpful but Barnes and Nobles does not go beyond their catalog. Amazon.com includes many more titles which is unfortunate for this bricks and mortar store. I was amazed with the positive changes in the store. They are trying to fill niches that you will not find in other places any more. They still have many books. The store has added more board games and school supplies. They still carry CDs as well as vinyl records. The cafe is a great place to go for a snack or for lunch. I believe we still need places like Barnes and Nobles for the community it develops as well as the ability to check a book out before you buy it.

The AVS website is easy to navigate and offers a variety of ways to get your VHS tapes to them, though we elected for drop-off/pick-up since we are reasonably close by. Matt was able to transfer about 15 irreplaceable home movies to DVD. He was also able to repair 5 of the tapes that we thought were beyond repair. Each DVD came numbered, had a personalized cover with a title, and was included in a hard case for storage. This was unexpected but very welcome. We did end up having a few minor quaility issues with a couple of the DVDs, but Matt courteously took them back and redid the movies. He was professional and respectful the entire time. I have to stress this point: AVS is the absolute most afforable VHS transfer and repair service I found in all of Northern Illinois. The rates are incredibly reasonable, especially compared to several way-overpriced competitors, and the product and service quality is great. I was happy to support a great small business, and I highly recommend AVS for your VHS transfer and/or repair needs.

Since this is the closest Best Buy to me, I've been here a number of times over the years since…read more2005 when I moved into the area and I've purchased a number of different items ranging from washers to TVs to DVDs. Recently, my Factory equipped Radio/CD died in my truck. I had actually pulled it out myself, and poured over the Crutchfield website with the thought of a DIY project. Since I was getting it replaced, I upped the system I wanted to include a GPS system and keep the Sirius Sat option available. Loaded with questions on compatibility, remote cameras, steering column control retention, I walked into the best buy auto area. There were 3 customers already being waited on. A 4th employee walked into the area and asked me if I was being helped, handled my questions on systems, asked the shop employee on the tough ones about how a system would be installed and worked with me on a final package. We set up a date to have the system installed. The best buy shop set up a 5 hour window to install the radio/cd system, the GPS antenna run, the interface to the steering column adaptor, the new sat tuner, the sat tuner antenna run, and the backup camera installation and cable run. Also the safety wire run to the brakes for the DVD (most manufacturers won't let you operate the dash DVD while in motion). In by 10 AM out by 3 PM. Instead, they were done in half the time by 12:30. Looks and operates great. I get in my vehicle, turn it on, turn on my iphone playlist, and then place it on my dash and I'm listening to my songs thru the bluetooth connection. Great! Could I have done it myself? Yupp, but probably would have taken a week at a minimum with a couple of hours a day of work. While I waited and walked around the shop, no fewer than 5 employees came up to me and asked if I needed help with anything. In the TV area, the camera area, the mobile phone area, the appliance area and the computer area. I eventually bought a non Samsung Blue Ray player (I hate Samsung Blue Ray DVD players, love their TVs). Could I have gotten all this online (minus the installation)? Yes. Might have been cheaper. Best Buy will try to match those prices. Online reviews are all over the place. I might have gotten a system I didn't really like in the end. You try to get a system with a large number of reviews that average favorably but usually that means last year's model. Support your local big box stores. Work with them on prices. They employ people who live in your area. The Internet stores do not.

ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS…read more We ended up with Carrera Deliveries because Best Buy selected them as the contractor for our washer installation. We trusted Best Buy to send qualified professionals. Instead, we received an improperly installed washer that caused water to pour into our laundry room and basement, damaging our home and personal belongings. Water was also getting dangerously close to electrical areas, creating a serious safety concern. When we contacted Carrera Deliveries about the damage, the owner refused to take responsibility, called us liars, and dismissed the photographic evidence we provided because we did not have a video recording. During an active flood, our priority was protecting our home, belongings, and safety, not recording video. The lack of video does not change the fact that the damage occurred. The installation was unacceptable, but the owner's arrogant, dismissive, and insulting response made the situation even worse. Customers deserve accountability when a company's work causes property damage. What is equally frustrating is that Best Buy has been giving us the runaround. We have called multiple times, spoken with multiple agents, and had claims submitted, yet nothing has been resolved. According to Best Buy's own policy, because Carrera Deliveries was hired as a third-party contractor as part of our purchase, Best Buy is responsible for the quality of service provided and for addressing issues resulting from that service. We are seeking immediate resolution, including fair compensation for the property damage and belongings damaged as a result of this installation. We should not have to repeatedly chase updates while our claim goes nowhere. We are left with water damage, cleanup costs, damaged property, and complete disrespect from both the contractor and the claims process. I would never hire Carrera Deliveries again, would never recommend them, and sincerely hope Best Buy reevaluates its relationship with this company.

Day of...not only did the team arrive early for setup but also allowed "control-freak dad" to do a very thorough walk through and made sure I was 100% clear on what was available, age group considerate, heck I even played a bit before the onslaught of kiddos lol. Not one but TWO team members readily available to assist from the younger kids (5-7) to my son and his friends (10-13). We ALL had an incredible time. We generally do nice size parties for our kids and I have to say this was probably the most at ease I've ever been - and with home court advantage to boot!! My husband and I decided 4 months before our wedding to add video vendor services as most friends said it was their biggest regret to not have. WCP offers both photo and video packages but also different price points if you hire Sam/Katie or a Junior Associate. We loved that there was a value option for us to include video. Jamie was our Junior Associate. He came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and I see why! His bubbly personality was a welcome addition day of to keep the energy high and make the documented moments feeling authentic and intentional. He went above and beyond with capturing drone footage and every wedding moment start to finish. After our big day, Sam edited our video to deliver a 2 minute teaser, 8 minute video capture, and provided us all raw footage. On top of this, they give couples the option to select songs. Our video was ready in about 6 weeks which was exactly in the middle of the proposed delivery timeline discussed. All email outreaches were responses to within 24 hours. They are simply good people to work with and were a great addition to our wedding vendor team! Tip: They offer a 5% discount with all cash payments.

They had the best prices, and I appreciated that they didn't require the full payment till 2 weeks after the wedding. Communication is done directly with the owner until about a month prior; she contacts you and gives you your photographer info. I then set up a time to meet with my photographer. Katie C. She was AMAZING. Her work was beautiful. So amazing that my sister in law is special requesting her for her own wedding next year. (Still have fingers crossed!) We received our photos 14 days after the wedding, and we were able to download all of them to our computer! Highly suggest this company! Side note. I have SERIOUS anxiety with my dog around strangers and Katie was amazing and handled me (and the dog) like a champ!
