We didn't go out much because of the pandemic. When we were coming out of quarantine we heard about this place and wanted to come but they were still closed. I do have one complaint and that's I wished we came sooner. On a whim while looking up things to do in the area for kids I stumbled across this place while setting up a play date for family visiting from out of town. We loved it so much we ended up upgrading to the monthly pass by the time we left. Here's what I love: but to be honest half of me wants to shout from the rooftops that I can't believe we have been here and didn't know about this place and the other half wants none of the valley to know to keep it our secret gem. But it's a family business so time to let the rest of people know I guess you should come play, too. 1) it's family owned. The husband and wife team is super kind, driven and you can absolutely tell they've poured their heart and soul into this place to make it modern, classy, interactive and a way for their kids AND our kids to play. Why do I think it's also a bonus cool factor that they have 2 little girls who play here? They want their kids to be in an enriched, safe, clean, active environment as well. The fact that they're raising their most precious jewels here makes us want to bring ours to come play, too. They set their hours based on family events and school. The owner explained they close early on Tuesdays to pick up his kid and if that doesn't shout proper values and you think it's annoying it's an early closure then take your business elsewhere. We're here for that kind of parenthood dedication. 2) it's incredibly clean. They thoroughly wipe things down every time we are there. We obviously utilize the hand sanitizer and i being some extra because, well, sick kids and you can't avoid that no matter where you go, but teach your kids about proper hand washing and use it as a lesson of when, why and how to use sanitizer, and poof, extra life lessons. We've been to a few other play places and have never felt as safe using things here. 3) it's like a gift that keeps on giving. This place is huge and has areas for every level of development. Our daughter just kept running from room to room screaming "Wow!" If your kid gets bored here, they're probably boring. There's so much to do. 4) very reasonably priced for what you get, and again, it's all about supporting local businesses through these crazy times. Our daughter has been sick (not the contagious kind, medical complications) and this place brought pure joy and smiles back that we hadn't seen in months. That is priceless to us, and every kid always seems to be so happy. The only tears we've seen from other kids are at the exit when it's time to go home. The kids and parents have all been very nice, too. 5) we love the soft padded white new jumper. We never saw it before but apparently we came the first time just a day or two after it was installed. Since adults should only be on the slide of the main play structure we get a little nervous when she tries to adventure out where we can't see her in the tunnel and this is not only nice for photos but it shows how CLEAN the place is! Ya can't hide dirt on this thing and it's a busy place. So peek in there if you want to see how much they actually clean. If she falls over or doesn't slide down the right way we don't fear her getting hurt. 6) the pink and purple play castle is the sweetest thing we've ever seen. She spends a lot of time in here and at the kitchen area. 7) we noticed they sell a bunch of the toys they use throughout the facility in case you want to take home a piece of the fun and don't know where to find it. 8) on super hot Central Valley days (or rain for the upcoming season) we now have a place to go get the wiggles out. We have already got our moneys worth for coming here! 9) they sell snacks. Ultimate mom fail when our 2.5 year old started chanting "cheese, cheese!" While I flashed back to setting it on the counter and then leaving. Luckily they sell cold and packaged items in case you forget. Super convenient. 10) educational toys. Everything they have is very methodically planned and laid out. Developmentally they cover all the ages and levels and we love that there's a little something for everyone. the adults may or may not be obsessed with the giant building blocks that are basically monster legos. They're admittedly addicting. They have a performance stage, party rooms, basketball shooting, air hockey and so much more. So: bring socks for everyone (heard they sell some but we don't know the info) because adults and kids have to have them to enter, a mask if you feel more comfortable, a small backpack or Fanny pack for your valuables if that makes you feel better and water for when the kiddos come running back in. This place is a magical land for the little ones. It makes me think as an adult, "where was this when I was a kid?" The first time she walked through the doors, she stopped and stared at the scene, as if she was entering a kids paradise. The staff is so nice and the place is clean. Took my 12 month old grandson here today and definitely will be back! He had a blast. Super friendly staff, and everything was super clean. They have baskets for the mouthed toys and slip on shoes near the restroom so you don't go in with socks. Went early not too many kids but just enough for some social interaction. read more

We've been here twice now ( 3 yo daughter) both times we arrived around the time they had just opened. I must say I absolutely love this place!! $9.50 for single child which imo is a little steep but, for the facility it is well worth it. The keep the place clean and they even have a bunch pairs of Crocs for you to borrow when you need to restroom! They also have a room that is for eating-they also sell some snacks. I love that the snacks are up and behind the counter where my little one CAN'T see..thank goodness!! I also have seen the owner go around and clean/wipe down toys during the time we've been there. There is so much for littlest ones to do here. The jungle gym, the play food room, block room, playhouses, cars. Etc. They also have different events and guest each week. Play is about 30 mins from me but I'm willing to make the trek for a fun, safe and CLEAN environment for my baby girl to play. read more

We went in today! My kids had so much fun! There was a lot of areas to play! As you enter there is a gift shop. You sign a waiver and you can do it via online. You put your shoes away and then enter the play area. There's a designated area for babies up to 24 months old. Then the rest of the areas can be for toddlers and older kids. My son is 7 and he had a blast on the slides and the jumpy house. They also have a pretend play grocery/ store area. We can't wait to come back! read more

Today was our 3rd time going with our 2 year old. They had a character today, which was Elmo. The staff (owners I believe?) are very friendly. The facility is clean and has everything a little one could dream of. We paid $15 for 2 hours of play for drop in. With covid, they have you pick a time slot online. They sell snacks onsite if you didn't bring any. They host birthday parties as well. Would continue to take my daughter here as she really enjoys it! read more

I'm here to write a review because of how much I love this place and miss it. I loved that there were kids in my sons age range. I loved that the owners were genuine and so involved. I'm so sad that I moved further away because we used to go here all the time. Another thing I loved was that they didn't charge the parents!!!! I also loved that I was able to socialize with other parents because it made me feel like I had a little community. Some cool perks included a small toy store, a room for snacks, different areas for the kids, to play in, and character visits. These guys are doing it right. I've taken my son to a few different indoor playgrounds but this one was the only one he liked! Owners are super nice and my son loves the music they play, too lol. Membership is month to month but highly recommend it if you go more than twice a month because it's better. We will be coming back. read more

We were looking what to do on a Sunday morning for our daughter and came across play Modesto I asked my husband let's go check it out so we went and the minute I walked in the door I knew that this will be a fun place. Our daughter had the best time ever it's very very clean and they also do character meet up our daughter whose 18 months got to see her first character and it was bingo! Awhile back ago went to this Blippi event they were having here . As they have frequent other events too . But my daughter being a big Blippi fan we had to come visit . And she had a blast! She couldn't stop running around everywhere to all the activities and play areas . The Blippi impersonator did a great job of keeping the kids as well as the adults engaged and entertained. The staff was very nice too , and kept things flowing smoothly as there was a lot of kids that day . I like the fact that they do events like this , so the kids can experience their favorite shows in real life . And will defiantly be on the look out for more events in the near future . read more

I'm all for having a great place, indoors or out, for my child to play.. and there are lots of great toys and activities here. But people are not mindful of their bringing their sick children here to contaminate everything with their germs. I also am not a fan of the loud and very inappropriate music. A child or teen band singing a popular song doesn't make it appropriate. I really hope the owner takes this review into consideration, and consider that not everyone allows their children to watch or listen to things without monitoring the content!!! read more

We came for a birthday party here and it was super cute. If you have infants who are in a stroller, you'll have to leave your stroller out in the check in are which is a little tight. Love that they have kids toys and fun stuff for purchase as well as drinks/snacks up front just in case you forget. The birthday party set up was super nice and so was the Photo Booth area. For parents watching your children play, the seating area is a little uncomfortable sitting on the foam platforms like we all were. Unfortunately, the bathroom was closed and we had to use the porta potty out front and with little ones in the evening when it's cold and darker, it wasn't the most comfortable/felt safe. They did lock them so outside people couldn't use them, but it was hard to manage my 6 year old, myself inside a one person potty, trying to balance the flash light on my phone since there was no light. We also tried the mini arcade area in the back, the ice hockey table ate our money which wasn't a super big deal. The place looks very clean and the owners are verry nice and friendly! They would clean every table after people got up from both the snack area / tea party area. I took my 2.5 year old son to Play today and we had the best time. Great play structures, a bounce-house, a trampoline, several play houses, a princess castle, and lots of toys. There's something for all ages; an area for babies, crawlers and smaller toddlers, and larger climbing structures for older more active children like my son. There's plenty of stuff to explore and play with for hours. The owner was very sweet and helpful. They have a snack bar and an area with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat. Very clean. Very nice. I've been waiting for a place like this. I just wish it had been around when my son was a baby. Wonderful for the summer months when it's just TOO HOT to go outside. This place is a GEM! It's owned by a husband and wife and they are very hands on. You can tell they pour their heart and soul into. With a child of their own they operate it as a parent would want for their children. It's safe and well maintained. It's clean and sanitary. It's bright and colorful. The kids are just having a blast. Their party room was constantly full of beautiful "Pinterest-worthy" parties. I'm super disappointed in this business, which is such a bummer because my toddler loved this place but I will never go back. Here's why: I booked a birthday party and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, the time didn't work for me and I tried to reschedule or cancel. I even asked for a different date. I never signed a contract but they are refusing to give me my $250 back. I even asked them to put the date available and see if anyone else picks it up. Nope. They could are less about their loyal customers. I've been there probably 20 times, but NEVER again. I'm trying to determine the next steps to take to get my $250 back. So sad. :/ Maybe you should send the contract before people pay? Seems important to me. Regardless, your response validates that I'll never return. I also just simply asked for the next year or if another date would work. Also, You stated you turned two people down today for that date? We were pleasantly greeted on arrival, the place has SO many different games for the kids to play with and at 11am they also had a dress up guest, today it was Sonic the Hedgehog, who danced to different songs and engaged the kids along with him. My now 10 month old loves Play! It's always clean and organized! The last few times I have been, it was slow so they where cleaning and wiping everything down! Generally pretty good, very clean environment and my son really enjoys himself. I love that they have snacks and drinks for purchase in the event that you forget yours. The prices are really fair as well. Only reason I knocked a star off is because whenever I go (usually weekends) the girl at the front desk looks at me like I have 3 heads and I feel almost like she inspects what i'm wearing - like stares from head to toe. So glad we found this place while in town with our preschooler. There are several different spaces for kids to explore: climbing structure with slides and tunnels, younger kids' area with lots of soft surfaces and toys, pretend play room, building blocks room, and more! 3.5 year old easily spent two fun hours here. Love that there's a baby changing station with two changing tables and a couch for nursing/feeding. Love that you can bring your own snacks, as long as they stay in the snack room. This review represents Kim - not the entirety of Play. I just got off the phone with a rude CS girl. I asked questions about if there would be children for my daughter to play with there (because I was looking at going early). Then I asked if my daughter brought her therapist would we be charged the fee, granted it's minimal it was more about the explanation that I received especially after mentioning my husband and I wouldn't be involved in the activities or play but observation only unless necessary. So I was informed they charge because it's a business and adults like to come there.( This was after she said she's ask the manager about if a therapist needed to be charged- never put on hold or heard her ask) So brings me to the thought that owners are out to nickel and dime people... But I have met the owners when I have been in the building for parties and they ARE NOT like that but that's the portrayal from this girl on the phone. knowing this it made me feel like SHE did not want my disabled child in-and you could never "tell" with my girl- not that I'd care.(I work In SPED) I'm sure the owners would be just fine if my classroom came in but it seemed like she would run the other way! I kindly told her I think I'm misunderstanding you, trying to allow her to gather her words and try again but All she said was "I don't know why" I do admit I was internally getting frustrated but I kept it honest but kind and said it is sad that your CS makes the difference of gaining a customer or not. Her response was oh well. Best 9.50 I've spent!!! Took my toddler here to tire her out, spent over 2 hours here, letting her run around, climb, jump and pretend, my goodness she had a blast! I loved how the employees were constantly cleaning the toys and play equipment, it was reassuring that the things she was touching weren't filthy. They have an changing/feeding area that's very clean, with 2 changing tables, a diaper genie and a couch. They even have an air hockey table, and basketball game for the older kids.
