It was like we were inconveniencing her because she was so busy . But , again we were the ONLY table . We were never checked on after ordering two appetizers from of server despite saying we wanted to order lunch . We had to flag down the server because she was just hiding in the back the entire time and the drinks took 20-30 min to deliver . Which , I personally think is excessive . I will say the owner , was a delight and took her time to introduce herself and check on us . I've heard her paint nights are great !

The prices can be a bit steep but you do get what you pay for. My former company conducted their monthly meetings here and every time, the service we were provided was outstanding. The wall street room is nicely decorated and the brick decor is very cool. They have recently added a garden area for weddings. Sure, some people may consider a place with a nicer view but I have to give these guys a lot of credit for sprucing up the place.

From helping us stay within our budget, to helping us come up with alternatives. Their assistance with the day helped make it all come together. Any issues that may have come up, I didn't even hear about because they handled it all. We had a fusion Indian/Jewish wedding, and we wanted both our heritages to be honored, which they did beautifully. I know I would have had a much harder time without them. The owners are required to advise their staff that there is handicap parking and where to go. My friend did get upset with the lady as we were there for a few hours and leaving where we entered as we exited and saw her. Her manager did not use her customer service and communication towards my friend but was disrespectful him and in front of other workers. There is a way to handle this issue via being, cool, calm, collective with the customers.

The one thing they need to work on is their beer taps. They have been an issue for many years. They are always very finicky and have foam issues. This, as you can imagine, is a huge issue when you are pouring for a fundraiser. Irritated guests makes for less money raised. I'm not sure how they need to fix it, but since it's been an issue for many years, something needs to be done. Besides that, our event last night, like many years past, ran smoothly. The owners were incredibly supportive--reliable, responsive, and followed through on every promise. One of the things we appreciated most was their flexibility. Unlike many venues that require you to use their preferred vendors for catering, bartending, or florals, August Meadows gave us the freedom to choose our own. That made a huge difference in creating a day that felt personal and unique. We also opted to have them handle the cleanup the following morning, and it was absolutely worth the extra cost--stress-free and seamless. The location itself is secluded and offers a wonderful sense of privacy. I highly recommend visiting in person to ensure it aligns with your expectations. As a small heads-up: the parking area is unpaved, and there's a bit of gravel to walk through, which posed a slight challenge for a few guests in high heels. Also, having a microwave in the clubhouse would be a nice addition. Other than that, our experience was outstanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend August Meadows to anyone looking for a beautiful, flexible, and well-managed venue.

The parking area is dirt (owner made sure it was watered prior so minimal dust). Getting from the parking area into the venue area there is small gravel so watch your step and footwear.
