So.... what an adventure to drop in here way far away near the Walkersville area of Frederick. The rink itself looks like it could be from any era in the last 50 years, but really, what do you want from an ice skating rink? Parking is easy. Finding the location is easy. Going to the register and paying for your pass and rental (if you don't have your own skates) is easy. The cost is incredibly low - I feel like they were cheaper than when I was in high school back in the day in a land far far away from this place. Anyhow, getting your skates, also incredible easy. They have lockers for your stuff that cost you, wait for it, 2 quarters! So cute! They have a few vending machines, mostly ice cream, and a snack bar where you can get some cheap food and beverages. It is not expensive by any measure. They have teams and others who train and play here, but they have open skates. The open skates are usually on the weekends. And, again, wow, I could not believe how cheap. We had a great time skating, but since we're not 12 year old children, our bodies were a little less flexible and a lot more sensitive, so we didn't even last the whole 1.5 hour session. Ha ha! We still had a fabulous time, and will probably go back winter holidays 2024 for a new tradition. In other words - highly recommended for a cheap, short adventure!

Of course if you want something they don't have in stock, there will be a few days before it comes in. However they place the order promptly and never leave you wondering when your ball will be ready. Bowlers Choice is located inside Terrace Lanes in Frederick, MD. They have another shop in Taney town, but I haven't been to that one yet. So join a league, get a ball and shoes from Bowlers Choice, and have some fun!

The best pair of shoes were the 312 legacies which were decent. I decided to look at how trash some of shoes were. I looked to see the air max 97 in yellow and huaraches in full black, in the men's section. I then wondered, how bad will the kid's section look and to be honest, it was pretty good! They had Jordan's in color ways people would actually pick up and Kyrie's with pretty rad designs! I'm disappointed to see kids walking around in the mall with better shoes than me. And to add on to the laziness of the store is the staff. They're a bunch of carefree college dropouts that don't give a crap about you. My wife and I recently got married so when she gave me a kiss I got looks from the employees. And when I asked for a size 11 for my legacies they wouldn't even give me I contact, the employee just went to the shoe storage, came back out and, you won't believe it, threw my 150 dollar shoes on a bench. If you're ever looking for decent shoes that will last you at least a year than this place isn't for you. Horrible shoes, color ways, rude employees and better looking shoes for kids than adults makes this foot lockers horrible place for you. You're better off looking for shoes at the Montgomery mall. But be warned, the shoes there are even more excruciatingly bad shoes than this store and that's saying something

I bet this store would do great business with better stock, as it's the only real shoe store in this mall.
