We first looked at the larger…read moreretail stores like Dick's Sporting Goods before deciding we had no idea what we were looking for. We turned to Exercise & Leisure, a relatively small store that specializes in exercise equipment. Our salesman was very helpful in explaining the different attributes and functions and pricing on each different machine. He asked my mom about her exercise habits and made recommendations about which machines might be best for her. The salesman encouraged my mom and I to take off our heels and jump on the different machines to test them out, he even corrected our postures and showed us how to get the most benefit our of our workouts. We ended up purchasing an elliptical machine from Exercise & Leisure after less than an hour of browsing and testing. The machine was delivered and set up less than a week later, despite the company's busy summer schedule. My mom loved the elliptical machine for a good three months before tiring of the novelty and switching back to the treadmill. Good service, reasonable pricing, and knowledgeable staff=all good reasons to check this place out.

This bike is TOP GRADE gym quality. And quiet as hell. Been using it 90 minutes a day for the last two months. Addicted! Service was excellent. The guys arrived on time (given the traffic), had the bike already setup for me, removed the plastic, had me sign something, and wished me a great day. Pre-service calls and messages I made (before I bought equipment) were also all answered promptly and thoroughly (took me months to make the move to purchase this bike). Couldn't ask for a better bike or for better service. Looking forward to working with this company. Recommend 100%.

I can not tell you how much we have saved over the years because of Play It Again Sports. Whenever my children try a new sport, Play It Again Sports is our first stop . Like other Play It Again Sports stores I have been to, this location does a good job of maximizing a fairly small space. The shelves were well stocked. They try to buy more items just before a particular sport season is about to commence. Items have a tendency to get clearanced out towards the end of a season. Five star custimer service. I had a somewhat unusual item I was looking for. The owner overheard me asking the cashier. He told her to take my name and number. If they get what I am looking for, he would give me a call. He also went in the back to look for what I was looking for. He did have a couple.

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the Play It Again Sports on April 6, 2026…read more I purchased an Odyssey putter for $130, used a $57 store credit, and paid the remaining $82.29 on my Mastercard. When I returned the putter because I wasn't satisfied, the refund process made absolutely no sense. I was only refunded $12.24, then charged $70.05 for two other clubs, and told I still had a $57 store credit remaining. When I asked for clarification, I was simply told "that's just the way it is," with no real explanation. Because of this, I felt forced to pick out additional clubs just to use the credit--something I did not originally intend to do. The whole situation made me feel like I was being treated as if I were trying to scam the store, when all I wanted was a straightforward return based on the store's policy. To make matters worse, one of the older employees took a phone call in the middle of my transaction and aggressively pounded on the keyboard, acting like I was an inconvenience. The level of customer service was unprofessional and disrespectful. What's especially disappointing is that just one week ago, I had an excellent experience at the Play It Again Sports Springdale location, where the staff was professional, helpful, and handled both a purchase and return with no issues at all. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the Red Bank Road location.

Have you been to Dicks on Montgomery lately? I'm sure you have as you're all runners out there...I…read moresee ya. Lol Well yesterday the hubby and I stopped in. For many seasons I've been wanting a particular shoe. Not just any shoe-the most comfortable shoe to walk in. And let me just say...it's been elusive to me. Not all of you though because I see ya wearing them and I always say, "Hey! Where did you buy your Hokas around here?? I've been everywhere!" (Obviously I haven't but in my mind I have since I have a nice supply of other brands that didn't make the cut in my closet on my hunt for this brand, lol. Call me a collector.) Before I get to the point-I promise I will, let me just say it's been a couple years since I've been in this Dicks. But last time I was, they didn't have any Hokas, and they had a walking track around their shoes area. After doing a Google search as I was out and about, the hubby was tired of hearing how my feet hurt and starting looking for shoes stores so I thought I should participate. The search kept saying only 3 stores carried them and two of them were in KY. One e of those was Dicks. So we decided to drive to our local one. The point: (Told ya I'd get here ) Making my way to the back of the very clean and organized store, the heavens parted and I heard angels singing-it was really a baby crying but I snapped to reality rubbing my eyes in disbelief at what I was seeing! Hokas!! And not just a few pairs-a whole designated section of them! I promptly shoved my hubby and the crying baby out of the way, calm down this is all mental lol, and made my first pick. Scanned the shoe's barcode in a scanner, and out popped a young man almost instantaneously to serve me. Was it meant to be? Ohh yes. The comfort, the immediate relief on my feet! I was being propelled forward to walk as if these babies were one with body. I boxed them up. Said yes to the shoe. The hubby said aren't you going to try on others? I said, "I found the truth. There is no other. Now go pick yourself out a pair." Lol He did. And he tried on two just because he likes to overachieve. But he settled on the first pair he tried on which, by the way, was the same model as mine only mine are cooler looking. He found the truth too. And the prices were comparable to what's out there so I was happy! Do you want the same experience? Do your feet hurt in your other expensive gym shoes?? Dicks on Montgomery Rd has it. Don't walk-run, but only after you visit Dicks. *Disclaimer: No actual baby was harmed in the writing of this review.

While this is a small store, I was impressed with their selection. I was here a couple of months ago and they had a much smaller selection of baseball merchandise. They use the space wisely. A great selection of new and used items. Everything I wanted to purchase used I was able to find. The used items were reasonably priced and in good condition. The woman at the checkout counter was nice too. I had no trouble using the Yelp check in coupon. If you are looking to make a few bucks, they had a sign on the door of items they are looking to buy.
