My mom was in the market for an Elliptical Machine a few months ago. We first looked at the larger…read moreretail stores like Dick's Sporting Goods before deciding we had no idea what we were looking for. We turned to Exercise & Leisure, a relatively small store that specializes in exercise equipment. Our salesman was very helpful in explaining the different attributes and functions and pricing on each different machine. He asked my mom about her exercise habits and made recommendations about which machines might be best for her. The salesman encouraged my mom and I to take off our heels and jump on the different machines to test them out, he even corrected our postures and showed us how to get the most benefit our of our workouts. We ended up purchasing an elliptical machine from Exercise & Leisure after less than an hour of browsing and testing. The machine was delivered and set up less than a week later, despite the company's busy summer schedule. My mom loved the elliptical machine for a good three months before tiring of the novelty and switching back to the treadmill. Good service, reasonable pricing, and knowledgeable staff=all good reasons to check this place out.

Pre-service calls and messages I made (before I bought equipment) were also all answered promptly and thoroughly (took me months to make the move to purchase this bike). Couldn't ask for a better bike or for better service. Looking forward to working with this company. Recommend 100%.

Do not come here for pointe shoe fitting. The fitter insisted that my wife's pointe shoe was fine,…read moreeven though my wife felt they were too long. My wife has 20 years of experience dancing on pointe, but was treated like she was completely ignorant. Three experienced teachers agreed it was too long, to the point of running an injury risk. When we called, we were told to come back to "figure it out". All the fitter did was double down that it was the best fit and everyone else was wrong (including the person wearing it). We went to a different place and immediately found the same brand in a smaller size that fits much better. When I went back to explain the issue, I was told to get another opinion (which we already did), that the better size was "very similar", that my wife should "speak up for herself" (which she did) and where to resell it. They would tell the owner, but all we would get was 10% off the next purchase. Unfortunately, there will not be a next purchase here. As much as we would like to support a local business and a struggling industry, this is an unacceptable and unethical way of conducting business.
