Have you been to Dicks on Montgomery lately? I'm sure you have as you're all runners out there...I see ya. Lol Well yesterday the hubby and I stopped in. For many seasons I've been wanting a particular shoe. Not just any shoe-the most comfortable shoe to walk in. And let me just say...it's been elusive to me. Not all of you though because I see ya wearing them and I always say, "Hey! Where did you buy your Hokas around here?? I've been everywhere!" (Obviously I haven't but in my mind I have since I have a nice supply of other brands that didn't make the cut in my closet on my hunt for this brand, lol. Call me a collector.) Before I get to the point-I promise I will, let me just say it's been a couple years since I've been in this Dicks. But last time I was, they didn't have any Hokas, and they had a walking track around their shoes area. After doing a Google search as I was out and about, the hubby was tired of hearing how my feet hurt and starting looking for shoes stores so I thought I should participate. The search kept saying only 3 stores carried them and two of them were in KY. One e of those was Dicks. So we decided to drive to our local one. The point: (Told ya I'd get here ) Making my way to the back of the very clean and organized store, the heavens parted and I heard angels singing-it was really a baby crying but I snapped to reality rubbing my eyes in disbelief at what I was seeing! Hokas!! And not just a few pairs-a whole designated section of them! I promptly shoved my hubby and the crying baby out of the way, calm down this is all mental lol, and made my first pick. Scanned the shoe's barcode in a scanner, and out popped a young man almost instantaneously to serve me. Was it meant to be? Ohh yes. The comfort, the immediate relief on my feet! I was being propelled forward to walk as if these babies were one with body. I boxed them up. Said yes to the shoe. The hubby said aren't you going to try on others? I said, "I found the truth. There is no other. Now go pick yourself out a pair." Lol He did. And he tried on two just because he likes to overachieve. But he settled on the first pair he tried on which, by the way, was the same model as mine only mine are cooler looking. He found the truth too. And the prices were comparable to what's out there so I was happy! Do you want the same experience? Do your feet hurt in your other expensive gym shoes?? Dicks on Montgomery Rd has it. Okay experience we got to the cleat section to get me cleats for baseball. And we waited so long, their were two people working and a lot of customers we had to sit around for a while. Then they told us the shoes I wanted they didn't have two times and had to wait even longer. Some really crappy service. We didcied to look in the app and we saw the shoes and finally we we got directions on what to do. We did it we got the shoes finally. Final review 2 stars, still go to dicks it's just my experience. read more

It's a 2 story store. Employees not friendly. No one to help but plenty of people to follow you around like you have stole something. I was there to Purchase a tent. No one there to help on the second level. I made my selection of a 6 person along with a queen air mattress. No one offered to help me lug anything around to the first floor. After I paid for everything and drove over an hour back to the house I looked on line to find out the exact same tent was $30 CHEAPER! I called the store and explained the lived over an hour away but the tent online was advertised cheaper. They were rude. They said go to another store and have it taken care of. read more

5 stars for Maria, the associate, at the kenwood location. 0 stars for DICKS Sporting Goods. DICKS as a company is terrible. I had been fighting through phone and email trying to get a return receipt, stores in my areas won't accept returns, nobody is giving me any USEFUL information. I was told I wouldn't get my full refund, I would only be able to get store credit and they might not take the return at all.... which is fine, I just wanted to get rid of these darn gifts that weren't gifted. Some associates at my local store say, try the kenwood store. When I first got there, I waited in a line for 15 minutes because I thought it was the returns line only for the manager helping the lady before me to tell me that I needed to wait in the regular line....and wait another 10 minutes in line. Why can't people just be nice? Especially a manager. Take a second of your time and ask someone, hey are you here for a return? Yes I am. Ok cool, you can actually go in the regular line.... Before I waited all that time, already frustrated and upset with the company. However, MARIA IS AN ASSOCIATE AT THE KENWOOD LOCATION AND SHE IS AN ANGEL. She was like, "do you have the card you bought it with?" Yes. She swiped it, my receipt came up. And my refund was honored. Maria made a terrible return experience so easy, and I wonder why this company couldn't just give me straight answers in the first place and why they have to send me running in circles. Unmatched customer service. I rarely see stores that have a proper amount of staff, but this place had super friendly people ready to help in all of their departments. The system they use to have a "runner" get shoes from the back is novel and I don't know why more stores don't do that. read more

Finding sport shoes to play soccer with is not an easy task in Cincinnati. So when we found they had a full wall of those here, it was a relief! They had different choices at very good prices, both the ones to play outdoors and indoors. Good, friendly staff and lots of choice. Exactly what you want in a sports shop! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Went around the store for 10 mins casually looking for workers to ask a question. Also do not put children size shoes in the women's section. When I Asked why he sat their silent and didn't even double check. Not worth their over priced BS!! read more

This Dick's Sporting Goods moved to another part of the same plaza, and the new building is really nice. Everything is remodeled and it's in two stories now. People working here were nice, and they had a really great selection. Prices are a little high, but still a good place to shop for Christmas gifts or presents. read more

I wish it were possible to give less than one star. This is the worst dicks sporting goods that I have ever done business with. I purchased a mountain bike here a few seasons ago. The first time I took it on the trail the the whole chain assembly and derailer (hope I spelled that right) came apart. According to the bike repair shop I took it to, it was not assembled properly. Dicks refused to make the needed repairs to the bike saying that it broke due to misuse but I've put hundreds of miles on it since I had it professionally repaired and haven't had any issues. I strongly caution you not to do business with this location, there may be some good employees here but the ones I had dealings with were rude,unprofessional and idiotic. (Please keep in mind that this review is for the kenwood location only. I have never had any issues or complaints with any other dicks location) read more

Great selection, location and staff. The prices aren't the best, but then again when has Under Armour and Nike, etc. ever been low cost? The clothing options are ample and with winter nipping at our heels, their clothes will help keep you active in the cooler temps. I don't know how their members card benefits you, but if you spend a lot on sports equipment, it might behoove you to get one. The name is of course the butt of some great jokes, but it's a good store for anyone in search of sports stuff, so hopefully you'll like Dick......................wait for it...'s. read more

Just has yet Another poor experience at Dicks sporting goods! When I asked to try a few items on I received attitude from the employee as if I were bothering him. When I went to checkout I typed in my phone number and asked if I had a reward before I could finish my sentence the employee said no. When I asked if he had even checked he was rude. Good thing they are the only sporting goods shop in town otherwise I would definitely not go back! read more

One of the best places to buy shoes! The only thing is that in the past 3 months I go there to find Nike or New Balance shoes and they don't have my size! I know they can't control everything, but they should have enough in stoke for other sizes and most small sizes they got are gone quickly....so, i don't understand why they can't bring more to have in stoke, because they really do have beautiful and comfortable sport shoes. Bottom line is, i like their products and will continue to monitor for new shoes. read more

Very sadly to say this store was a huge, HUGE customer service nightmare! The new Liberty Center store is such a joy regarding their customer service. My husband and I expected the same customer service at Kenwood which never happened. We of course left our coupons on the kitchen table. Kenwood store didn't care. In fact when trying to find coupons on line while the customer service rep was standing there she basically called us a liar. She TOLD us that they never had coupons on line. The check out clerk gave us the same attitude. When ever we shop at Liberty Center they always ALWAYS have coupons at the register we can use. We will NEVER again shop the new Kenwood location! read more

Do yourself a favor and do not go to this store for ANYTHING. They have very expensive/pricey merchandise that you can find elsewhere for less money. The store was disorganized, staff incompetent, and unprofessional,and much merchandise was neat but obviously placed on the wrong shelves, mis-representing itself as being on SALE. I chose a Clearly labeled on sale sweatshirt. At the register it rang up full price; I said, whoa, wait, that was on the 50% off table. , "Oh not this one, but let me check". 3 people were consulted, and communicating by head phones...5 mins pass....no eye contact no verdict....10 mins....no eye contact, cashier is looking at the ceiling. The manager avoided eye contact, and left without telling me it was not approved for sale, the staff put it in the wrong place?". I asked politely, "were you going to inform me?". Manager replied, "I told the register worker, didn't she tell you?" Really. Terrible, poorly trained workers, and poorly organized store. read more
