The auctions are typically made up of estate items, but the occasional business, liquidation sale pops up from time to time. I usually visit the Saturday evening auctions, and depending on the time of year, the crowds will vary. This isn't the place to buy fine arts, war memorabilia, and world artifacts. These auctions are for the items grandma and grandpa left behind that the kids didn't claim as family heirlooms. There is usually decent furniture, tools, and antiques. Expect to pay higher prices at the first auction on the month (as the crowd recently received their pay checks/government checks) There are snacks, nachos, hot dogs, and drinks, but you need cash for these. You can pay for you haul with credit card, but expect to pay an extra 3%. The auctioneer keeps a great pace, and has a great personality making the time go by quickly. It's not a bad way to spend a Saturday evening, especially if you love searching for a bargain. Check their website for auction times. It's easy to navigate and includes pictures of upcoming items.

There are 9 holes with one hole that has two special features. You can play the ball in the water or through a tube and come out close to the hole. In the center are smiling, welcome faces saying hello and asking if you need help. To the left there is a counter with coffee and fixings. Right behind that counter is a nook with a couple of tables, chairs, a fireplace, displays of amazing carvings done by customers, examples of lathe work and tons of books filled with instructions, patterns and photos. They will make you drool! I asked Brian, who was helping me, about classes and he was tremendously useful and knowledgeable. Not only did he give me a schedule, but he showed me display pieces of what can be made via instruction. Look at my photos - you will be astounded at what can be made at a beginner level. I'm thinking of making both the bandsaw box and end table in the pics. Aren't they cool looking? I kept thinking "I am going to be able to make this wonderful wood piece??" and was assured that yes, I could. This place carries all kinds of tools, equipment, kits, stains, veneers and wood. If you listened to the assistant manager proudly describe all that his store has to offer and looked at some of the pieces that he has made himself, you would be hooked! Not only did he tour me around the huge classroom, but he excitedly talked about all that they are doing to spread the woodworking passion. You will be as impressed as I am about this place and will be planning what project you will be doing in the near future. I brought my daughter in there once and even she remarked how this store has a really good feel to it. We thought that it would be a great place to work even though we don't have the skill set to back it up and that says something. My dad was able to finish our basement and now every time I smell sawdust, I have fond memories of him working with wood. Just another reason I can't wait to sign up for classes. Go check this place out!!!

Only me and my father shoot, but I had recently moved out, so I updated my address for the new card. The owner then cited I would need to purchase my own membership, since I don't live in the same household anymore, roughly 2 months into our year membership. This immediately frustrated me, given the history she has with unfriendly service towards members of my family, and feels like a scam to me. The owner was rude to my mother when she inquired about how the firearms shipping process worked prior to this situation. The time posted for the CCW class I took a few years ago was 2 hours off, and this place isn't close to where I live, so I had to go find something to do at 8am for 2 hours. Another time, I had put $200 down to layaway a rifle, realized it was way overpriced, decided I wanted my money back, and she gave me the run around about getting my deposit back, acting like she couldn't find the layaway and stalling me for a few minutes searching for paperwork. All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Your customer service sucks, time and time again!
