Stopped in tonight with a buddy to have a drink. When we came in and sat down we were unaware we had to order food and drinks at the bar. A lady that was working the bar stopped and said " you need to order everything at the bar". We said ok and walked up there. Asked her how the pretzels were and if they were homemade. Apparently that was the wrong question to ask! She replied "well someone made them". She said they were "very good" so I ordered one with my drink. This whole time her demeanor was very rude. I shrugged it off as she was having a bad day. No worries. When she brought the pretzel out it looked as though it was freezer burnt and several years old and shriveled. Tasted like cardboard mixed with rubber. No taste. When this "waitress" returned with my buddies food i mentioned the pretzel was not good. she immediately snatched it off the table, said "Perfect!", walked back to the cash register, grabbed our credit cards we had for our tabs, walked back to our table and said, " i took the pretzel off and im closing both tabs". I've never been treated like this, and if i ever treated a customer like this it wouldn't end well for me! very sad! read more

Cool place with a fenced side yard patio. They were super nice and allowed us to bring our dog since it wasn't very busy. I had the pale ale and it was good enough to warrant a second one. My boyfriend had their Mexican lager called South of the Border and he did not care for it. I took a sip and thought it tasted just like a Mexican lager. For his second beer he had their wheat beer and he really enjoyed that. We did not order any food as the only choice is pizza and we we pizza'ed out. Next time we are in the area we will perhaps try the pizza. read more

I'm not sure I would call this a brewery, so much as I would classify it as a bar in which some bespoke beers are served alongside many tap offerings. We stopped in and had a pint, but didn't feel compelled to stay longer. read more

I love this place, the staff is very helpful and the menu is wonderful. It accommodates a large group very nicely, the gang loved it.

I thought this place was great until I sa saw an American flag tattered and tagged to the wall. They could give this to the boy scouts.or something. Such disrespect! Coming from a couple.of veterans we are deeply hurt. I asked the bar tender who did this she stated she did not know. I would assume that it was the owner. To this I ask are u a patriotic American? If so u would know not to fly a tattered flag. If not u shouldn't run a business. I would assume u are America or you wouldn't be flying the flag. But you obviously are not a veteran or you would know not to do what you did. I was so ignorant to think this was common knowledge. You should be ashamed of yourself. What a great place! I had the "South of Platte" brew and it was really good, the owner garnished with a fresh lime and that really set it off. Order this if you are unsure what to order. Dinner was equally great, I strongly recommend the Jalapeño Pretzel! Pizza's are really good, we ordered three separate 6 inch- everybody received exactly what they wanted (piece or peace in the family). We are a Pittsburgh family, road tripping and were treated like royalty. New owner is awesome, and previous owner still brews for the place! read more

Most unprofessional owner I have ever had to deal with. We were asked to stop running off customers when my barbershop group started singing (even though only 3 people left the entire time we were singing, and plenty of customers said it was fun to listen to). Then we were told that those 3 people were regulars and their business was more important than ours. I don't know if those 3 people will come back and spend money there (I am sure they will because they are obviously friends of the owners) but the owner ensured none of our group will!! read more

As a business traveler who finds himself in small and big towns alike, the hope for a rare few hours of free time is to find a place with good food, beer, and a welcoming environment. Platte Valley is exactly the type of place I look for. It welcomes regulars and newcomers alike, has several quality contracted brews, and has TVs aplenty for folks just looking to relax after a conference/long drive. John is an engaged, excellent owner who goes out of his way to greet everyone who comes in, and Jordan provided outstanding service. Beer tastes like home brew, and the worst pizza I've had since high school lunch room.

Small hometown Brewery that has some of their own beers plus others on tap. $4 for a pint and free wings on Friday's is a plus! Outdoor seating with a waterfall is pretty cool and comfortable. Wait staff are always friendly with a smile on their face. try The Red Rock it is our favorite the smoothest beer in town! read more

It's a nice bar to sit with friends and not deal with the obnoxious younger crowd. Bartender, Crystal, is very friendly and loves our group that comes every Thursday night. Feels like a small-town bar which I love and the food is good too. read more
