I ordered 14 Oz Ribeye MED. RARE. It arrived Med. We'll, I let my waitress know to let the Chef know. She offered to take it back, but I said it's fine. Later another lady came by and asked how was everything, I told her that my steak was overcooked, all she said is we put a thermometer in every piece of meat when we're cooking it. This is a great option for a stop on a long road trip with kids. The service was amazing and the food came fast and our server always came over with a smile! Kinkaider has a great choice of beers on tap! I was pleasantly surprised by their Rambler IPA and enjoyed a flight of 5 others to wash down the tasty Rueben I had for dinner. The tasting room was nice with a large outdoor deck for families to sit and watch the kids run around in the grass. It wasn't too quiet and wasn't too crowded or loud so I'm a big fan! We stayed at the Air bnb and thus, camped out here at the brewery for a day back in March. It was a great experience. ALL of the staff were welcoming, friendly and nice through our interactions with the tour, dinner, and a late nightcap at the bar. The bar manager Aubrey was great and tried to get the "best" tour guide to come in on his day off, but he got stuck in the snow. She did a great tour anyway! Alissa, Belinda, and Liz also provided great service. You can tell everyone truly enjoys their job and working here, especially when they stay to hang out off the clock. The food was exceptional and one of the best steaks I've ever had, and the sides were also delicious, loaded potatoes and green beans complete with bacon and onions. Much higher quality of food than you'd expect from a brewery and at decent prices; this was enough food for at least two meals. Of course having been familiar with Kinkaider before, I love their beer and got to sample some new flavors on this trip. I also loved the Devils gap Bloody Mary---give it a try. The Air bnb itself was spacious and came with massaging serta mattresses, and plenty of games amusements, with enough space to play indoor cornhole when it's cold. This flagship/home location of Kinkaider Brewing is a great place to visit! Recently stopped in and had an excellent experience. The bartender, LM, and other staff were all friendly and informative. The beer is fresh and they offer options that are not available at their other locations. All beer for Kinkaider is made at the Broken Bow location. They also have a solid food menu with options that should satisfy most. The restaurant and bar space is comfortable and well laid out. Outside, there is a nice patio, "beach" volleyball court, other games, goats and cows, and views of the sandhills. Broken Bow is not easy to get to; however, this spot is worth the effort. One needed improvement from my perspective for Kinkaider is to offer one or two IPA's that are very good representation of east coast and/or west IPA's. Currently, none of the IPA's are solid representation of either style. My preference is hazy east coast IPA, but Kinkaider offers nothing that is hazy or has much hop flavor. Could be regional preference that Kinkaider is going for, but having better IPA's may attract fans from a broader area. read more

Stopped in for dinner with the family on a Thursday evening. The place was packed. Thankfully our server was aware of how to handle someone with a gluten intolerance and helped us navigate the gluten free items on the menu as nothing is marked. I have to say the sweet potato fries might be the best I've ever had. I really enjoyed my bacon and blue burger a lot but I think they left off the blue. I also tried a fellow diners Reuben, and that is now in my top 3 Reuben's. The beer of course is excellent. I loved the PB&J and also had a flight of 5 others to sample. Hidden gem! Stopped on our way to Valentine, have tried the one in Grand Island but this was a different food experience. The menu is different, chef is different and of course the taste is different. Nice location, both indoor and the outside patio with. Beach VB court. The service was great, drinks were excellent and the food was YUMMY! Had a stout beer, delicious, had Jalapeño beer Bloody Mary, decent. Ordered scotch eggs, boiled eggs coated in local sausage, lightly breaded, delicious. Had Pork Belly two cheese grilled cheese with onion rings, tasted great. Also tried BLT, loaded with local bacon, can't go wrong. Nachos with queso was different and tasted good. Good place, awesome drinks and food. read more

I sat at the bar for 20 minutes while four employees tinkered around filling cans and straightening out mistakes made on customers checks. Never got any acknowledgement whatsoever that I was there. Not a hi or a welcome or a "we will be with you shortly." Nothing ! ! So I left and was drinking a cold beer at a bar in town within one minute of walking in the door. Kinkaiders could learn something about customer service from Sly's Bar. I don't expect instant service and I know employees are busy but they could at least acknowledge I'm there. This spot is a gem and you must go when you're in the area! I was travelling here for work and was excited to find out that the town had a brewery. I came with a group of 8, and they were able to seat us right away. Our waitress was super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the beer. Since I'm indecisive and couldn't choose a beer, I ended up ordering the flight, told our waitress what kind of beer I like (mostly dark), and asked her to surprise me. The porter and the stout were my favorites, but all of the beers tasted excellent. The variety of beers they have is great and there is something for everyone. Our table ordered the onion rings and the giant pretzel to share. The giant pretzel was so good and the mustard and cheesy sauce they serve it with are ah-mah-zing. I could not get enough of that sauce! I also had the pesto flatbread as an entree which was delicious. The portions were very generous. I left very full and happy, and will definitely be back next time I'm in Broken Bow! read more

Without a doubt 5 stars for Kinkaider Brewery. Spent 3 nights in their Air B&B (bed and beer) with wonderful accommodations. Along with a short 30 yard walk out the door into a wonderful family friendly restaurant and bar! Upon arrival all of the Kinkaider staff welcomed us and went out of their way to individual introduce themselves making us feel very welcome in their "home". A complimentary 6 pack of the best craft brews in the state was given to us while we were given a key to the room. Cornhole, board games, Wi-Fi, smart tv, vibrating and elevating beds, couches, beer fridge INSIDE THE SHOWER and a full kitchen. A big Thankyou to everyone at Kinkaider for leaving us no option but to come back and enjoy the badass food, drinks and sleeping accommodations. read more

I love their beer! My favorite is the Devil's Gap, the jalapeno ale. It's the best jalapeno ale I've ever had. Dan the Wiser is smooth with a nice flavor. It's not available right now, but the Snow Beast winter ale is very good. We tried the food for the first time today. I had the rustic steak flatbread and a cup of the loaded baked potato soup. I've had better soup. The texture was odd. And the flavor was a little different. The flatbread was okay. It is more like bread than pizza crust, which was what I was expecting. My husband had the Kincaider burger and he thought it was very good. It's huge, you have to smush it to eat it. read more

Some were variants of the standard brew production, and were quite good and interesting. The facility is large and it's obvious that a good deal of beer is produced here. You want a tour? Stopped in for happy hour. We are in town on business and the folks in there are quite friendly. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband speaks highly of it. The Bloody Mary is almost too pretty to drink but it's a pretty good one. Their menu is full of good stuff. If you're into spice ask to try the spicy hot mustard. It'll give you a kick! read more

Kinkaider is unique in in that it looks like you're heading to a winery rather than a brewery. But make no mistake about it, this place makes some top-notch beer. We ordered the dirty dozen which is a flight of all 12 beers for $18. I enjoyed all but two and that's just a personal preference and not because they weren't well done. My favorites include the Tripel, Lone Tree ESB, Brothers Pinned Double IPA, and Farmer's Tan Brown. If you're into chili beer, try the Jalapeno Ale. It's not my thing but they nailed the Jalapeno taste in a way no other beer has that I've tried. Inside, Kinkaider has an upscale feel that you don't expect upon entering. The leather chairs, wood tables, dim lighting, and barrels make it feel like a classy joint. If you want to enjoy the weather, there's a large deck where you can take it in the surroundings. A nice touch are pictures explaining why the beers are named what they are. Kinkaider is easily the best brewery I've been to in Western Nebraska and rivals the best in Omaha that I've visited. Let me preface by saying that I had excellent service and food from the middle aged waitress and AA manager who were running the place over July 4th weekend. I hope the clientele and co-workers did not run them off because they rocked. Attempted to visit the establishment 9/4/21 Labor Day Weekend. I didn't really think bars and restaurants were in a position to turn away business this year but that didn't stop the abrupt girl who turned us away after making us stand in the doorway for five minutes. While we had stood there 4 different cars full of people had pulled up and walked in to the bar area instead of waiting to be seated. She hadn't asked any of them to wait 45 minutes or more. I asked if we could just grab a drink and go stand in the patio area. She said "No its pretty full out there." When we drove away I noticed lots of empty tables on the patio. I guess we were easy to turn away because we didn't fall in her peer group? It felt like I was refused entrance 1) because I was polite and waited to be seated and 2) because she didn't know us personally. I know at least two of the original investors. I hope I get a chance to run into them again and share my experience. Went to Legends on the Town Square instead. They DID want our business! There was only one poor girl running the whole place! Guess what? She was super polite, got us drinks and excellent food quickly and did it all with a smile. That's the true definition of Customer Service! read more

My husband, daughter and I specifically drove through Broken Bow to go to Kinkaider while road tripping around Nebraska and we were not disappointed. Of course all of the beer is amazing and the food is just as good. I had the cheesey flatbread and it was so good I didn't want to share! From a local who loves beer, you can't go wrong with KBC. The recent edition of a full kitchen and excellent menu make KBC rival several brewpubs I've visited on adventures. Lots of outdoor seating, great beer menu, and friendly staff make this a great choice. I recommend the Jalapeño Ale (make it a Jam if you like sweet!) as well as their hop forward beers.
