Inside, there are a few TVs, and you order at the counter even if sitting in for a meal. Looks clean and cozy enough, and I would imagine fairly crowded at the right times, but I was there mid/late afternoon, so I only saw one table w/ a customer eating. I was a little worried watching other peoples mofongos coming out, because although beautifully plated, the helping looked small. But, it was more than enough food. The plantains were more than a little over, (aka burnt,) but they tasted ok nevertheless. The Misses enjoyed her salmon, but was QUITE upset that the meal came with white rice instead of yellow. She says that she specifically asked for yellow, but I can't remember, AND, as is the custom now a days, the waitress didn't write the order down, instead trying to remember everything. Hate that practice, I really do. The MEALS were reasonably priced, but the sides and drinks were astronomical. The side of plaintains was TEN dollars. I ordered a coffee at the end of the meal, (that took FOR.EVER. to come out by the way,) and it was like an espresso sized cup of coffee that costed almost $5. The iced teas, over $4. They make up the difference of the meals on the other shit. Our bill for the mofongo, the salmon, an iced tea, a side of plantains, and the worlds slowest, smallest coffee was JUST under $100. It was good, but it wasn't THAT good. As I mentioned, the server was awkward, and would come by the table and then just stand there, or walk away and then walk IMMEDIATELY back, so it was just a little weird. YMMV. And I've had a lot of sauces, and I know a lot of sauces, and all the sauces know me as well. I finished it off, of course, with a bottle of cola, because one day I hope to be like Warren Buffett and drink cola every day and hopefully become a billionaire.
