Found Andrew, the owner, thanks to my local Nextdoor app. He was competitively priced I have to say and offered me a bundle if installing more than one. Arrived on time. Wore protecting coverings on his shoes upon entering and had an apprentice with him but supervised the whole process of installing a new kitchen faucet and also advised me that the quality of my faucets I bought online may no be the best. I called Andrew on account of a shower fixture issue -- he was kind enough to re-arrange his schedule so he could pop by the place within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me two options: 1) he could describe for me how to fix the problem myself and therefore save money, or 2) he could do the repair himself right there. WOW! Nothing like coming home after a long day of work...and as you are beginning to prepare dinner, you realize there is a major clog/backup in the main drain line OUT of your home. Every drain in our house was beginning to fill UP, back into our sinks! I was in panic mode by the end of the night...envisioning the worst case scenario of course. The thought of having to search for an efficient, affordable plumber (do they even exhist???) was causing me great anxiety. As I laid in bed that night, trying to forget about my task for the following morning, watching a little Fallon, I opened the Nextdoor ap , just to see what was going on in my hood. After reviewing the situation, Andrew told us the job likely was beyond his current means as it might require excavation under the driveway. I noticed a leak on a Friday afternoon, so I called my "regular plumber" and got voicemail. He called back and was grumpy, informing me he was out of town and didn't refer out. The leak stopped and I figured I was safe. Leaked again twice on Saturday, so I checked the local neighborhood group for referrals. Platinum Services seemed to be the favorite. I texted Andrew and he texted back quickly. We determined it was not an emergency and scheduled for Monday between 11 and noon.
