Read the following for more info: A couple months ago, I brought my brand new car to Dan at Chi-South Customs 25885 S Ridgeland Ave #4, Monee, IL 60449 to paint an Italian stripe on the front, fix one scratch on front drivers fender, and color match the silver trim around side windows and a couple other spots on car. Three weeks later I picked up my car and paid in full. The next day I called Dan since I saw several issues with the vehicle. We went over every part of what he did wrong on my car. He gave me $2000. back. Could still see scratch on fender, the stripe is wavy, bled into the black, a scratch out of the white by emblem that he didn't even take off to paint. Painted all silver trim on car with out taking it off and didn't prep correctly. Passenger side $2000 in damage, head light has a 3 in. scratch. Front grill that wasn't painted has a 2in. scratch and over spray on it. All rubber around windows has paint on it. Red, white, and green over spray on sunroof. Over spray on other parts of car and windows. Damaged the front clip and hood with out fixing lines and wet sanded and buffed only parts of it. Buffing compound in a lot of spots he didn't clean. Now I have over $10,000 in damage I have to put out now to get it fixed. Dan said his insurance won't take care of it and he has no money. I told him to at least make payments and no response. Sorry to say he's not a man of his word.

I feel like Montway was a bit deceptive in the quote however. The initial quote was raised because the car was "modified", but in reality it had been stretched 1.5 ft in the front. This was not an issue for the transport, as the driver had a trailer that hauled 2-3 vehicles. Montway rep said on the phone that $200-$300 would be charged to my credit card and the rest would go to the driver, and I received an email stating that $1370 would be owed to the driver on delivery. In reality, Montway charged my card $499, and sent another email stating to only pay the driver $1,100, which I did, but it felt deceptive. I am guessing that Montway got a way better deal from the driver than they anticipated, and instead of passing some of that saving on to me, or explaining, they just charged my card double what the rep said they would and kept all of the profit. Also, the rep promised tracking, which never happened - we had to call the driver a couple of times to find out the delivery time, because he hit traffic (which I understand he cannot control) and got held up by a couple of hours. All in all, it is done, but Montway didn't leave the best impression overall as a transport broker. Grateful I had a better driver than some of these other reviews...

On Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 7:59AM PST time, I sent a cancellation request on my outlook email as specified exactly in there terms and condition as followed to the email of info@montway.com. Section 9: c. Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to info@montway.com. Cancellations made via telephone, text, chat or any other medium will not be accepted by Montway. No one was dispatched yet when that email was sent that. I have uploaded the receipt of the email to this complaint On Wednesday. June 17th, 11:37AM PST, I received an email that a driver was dispatched even though my cancellation was well before that. I was told on call on Wednesday that I would be charged because someone was dispatched. Why was someone dispatched when I clearly cancelled the order well before that? As specified in their terms and condition: a. Customer may cancel an Order at any time at no cost or cancellation fees as long as the Order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. They claimed on call they could not find the email record and claimed I will be charged the cancellation fee. I would be happy to work with Montway, the BBB, and outlook, to show proof of this email receipt that was was sent to their email at info@montway.com. I have provided them the receipt of the email record on the phone call and in chat and it was still not resolved. As of now this is also a filed complaint with the BBB and will be disputed with my bank if it comes to that. Edit: I see the reply below and you could message me at-least to find out my order. Why would I post the order number publicly? Edit 6/22/2026: In my BBB complaint reply by Montway, it was confirmed that I did indeed DID contact them before. I am getting my refund and will keep track of this. For everyone who has or will have this issue, please file a BBB complaint and attach Montway's terms of service in addition to your email as track record if you ever encounter this issue.

What started as a very stressful day turned into a much better experience thanks to his professionalism and kindness. I hit a huge pothole on I-94 near Gary, Indiana, which caused a flat tire and left me stranded on the shoulder with traffic flying by at highway speeds. I was on my way home to spend Father's Day with my dad, and this was the last thing I expected to happen. From the moment Jamie spoke with me on the phone, he was calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. He made me feel like I was in good hands before he even arrived. Once he got there, he was professional, efficient, and incredibly courteous. Jamie then drove both me and my vehicle all the way to my dealer's service department in Illinois. During the drive, we had a wonderful conversation, and I was impressed by how warm, friendly, and compassionate he was. After many years in the towing industry, it would be easy for someone to become indifferent, but Jamie was exactly the opposite. He showed genuine empathy and treated me with kindness and respect throughout the entire experience. If you ever find yourself needing a tow, I highly recommend Need A Lift Auto Towing Service. They suggested I get it towed to their shop which I agreed too. They told me they will look at it, and give me a price before doing anything. It took two days for me to get a price or an update about my car even after asking multiple times. I asked multiple times for a price BEFORE working on my car they literally said they did the work anyway I have text messages showing me asking for them to not do anything work until I get a price which then the lady on the phone said "we already fixed it and THEN gave me a price ... which then they held my keys hostage because I was $5 short on payment, Because they wanted to upcharge me for using a card. I was yelled at by two different people. I stood outside their business for 30 minutes while they ignored me like children. The lady on the phone hung up on me multiple times. The guy at the shop told me "fuck u" I left literally shaking. I will never call this number again and I'll advise others not to do so or u might get ur car held hostage like I did. Like I said communication was trash, customer service was terrible. As far as getting ur vehicle serviced. But the tow truck man was nice
