If I could give Laurie & Plantenders 10 stars, I would! He is an angel and an absolute pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable, so friendly and incredibly helpful! Laurie came out to help me and my husband design landscaping in our yard and on our overgrown slope. I gave him some insight as to what we were looking for, he took measurements, worked his magic and provided a vision for what was going to work best for our space. He was beyond accommodating with delays due to construction we had going on in our yard and even came out himself to deliver the plants. Our next project is our front yard landscaping and I can't wait to see how he pulls it together for us! If you're looking for someone to help with landscaping, call Laurie today! You won't regret it! read more

Plantender's Nursery is so full of charm and it was the perfect place to start the next part of our lives together. Thank you! read more

Large selection of beautiful plants and succulents- the Owner is supper friendly and took us on a personal tour.

Friendly, knowledgable, helpful. Tired of rushed, impersonal, or un-knowledgable experiences at the big box stores? Prefer an easy going, friendly conversation from a seasoned expert to help you design and acquire just the right mix of flora for your space? You owe it to yourself to drive out toward Santiago Canyon and check out Plantenders. Laurie is a great guy to deal with and can guide you to the right selections across the nursery based on space, sun exposure, watering profiles, etc. Great selection of CA grown palms, succulents, and everything else and competitively priced vs. many of the bigger name nurseries. I wish I found this place when I moved to Lake Forest 30 years ago. Owner is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Prices are over 1/3 less than what Home Depot, Lowes and other Orange County nurseries are charging. Plants are very healthy with a good variety. I highly recommend this nursery. Enjoy the canyon drive on your way there. read more

Laurie was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable about his plants! He has a wide variety that I could not find at other nurseries. Plus, the drive there is so peaceful! I'm a forever customer and will be back! read more

We found Laurie Park with Plantenders last year when we were redoing our backyard. He was referred from a friend who also utilized his services for their front and back yard landscaping(which turned out beautiful). What I appreciate about him is his knowledge of plants. He knows what would thrive where, how big they get for a designated space, shade vs sun, when they bloom, etc etc. I Much prefer coming to see him at his charming ranch property and talking with him, vs a visit to Home Depot or any other nursery. The visits with him alone are worth the trip. Such a kind and knowledgeable person. Highly recommend him for any size project. read more

I am so glad I found Plantenders! Laurie was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience a breeze. I stopped in to pick up a few plants for my new pots and had no idea what I needed or what would work and thanks to Laurie I left feeling confident and excited about my choices. Not to mention Armando was so kind and loaded my car with my purchase before I made it back - it was much appreciated as I had my kids with me and my hands full. I highly recommend plantenders and can't wait to go back when we begin landscaping. read more

This is my second time here at Plantenders. The first time Laurie came to my house, sketched out detail plans at my house, then in a few days he put it all in a detailed binder that included pictures and descriptions of each plant he recommended and the price for all the plants (very reasonable). When the plants came in, he drove them over and placed them where they belong. He does not do the digging. The planner and the delivery was complimentary-so amazing. All places I've been to charge for this type of detailed plan. On my own I dug over a hundred holes over a few weeks. I get so many complements on my flower beds now. I went back a second time to plant some pots with succulents and he was just as friendly and helpful even with my small purchase. Not a single plant has died and I am no expert gardener. Plantenders is awesome! read more

Great selection of well tended plants. Reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful. Wish I had found this business sooner.

I have been searching high and low for a healthy white bird of paradise. Little did I know, the cute quaint nursery down the street had everything I wanted (and more). They nursery is so vibrant and clean; the plants were all so gorgeous and healthy. The owner, Laurie, walked around with me and answered all of my questions (knowing I was looking for just a plant this trip). Laurie, I truly appreciate your knowledge, kindness and guidance! Looking forward to continuously growing my collection here. read more

John & Leesa --- Plantenders Nursery is the best nursery in Orange County. Their service, knowledge, and experience made us feel confident in our plant selection. I was so impressed with how the nursery staged their plants in small, mid-size, large, and not ready yet for sale. This nursery treats their plants with tender loving care. We were as impressed with the owners as they treated us like we knew us forever. Excellent experience and the "Best Nursery" in Orange County. read more

Laurie was recommended to us through our contractor and we are SO grateful! He came out to the house to look at our yard, took pictures of everything and then we went on a walk through the neighborhood to look at plants and get an idea for what I liked. I was super impressed!!! Not a lot of people go the extra effort to do that. Then we came out to the nursery to look at the plants in person and he went over the design. What a beautiful nursery and large selection too! Plants were delivered and put into place by my contractor and everything looks AMAZING!! We couldn't be happier. I love my yard! He did such a great job choosing the perfect design for our yard. I will definitely recommend Laurie to all of my friends. read more

We have been to many nurseries in the south OC area but none of them compare to the customer service offered at Plantenders. The nursery itself is very cool and rustic and Laurie is so knowledgeable, helpful, honest and nice. He has an eye for landscape design and more specifically can offer plant suggestions that fit your location. We have used his consulting services more than once to assist us in planting our front yard and slope and they both turned out beautifully. As we look into adding more drought tolerant plants to possibly replace the grassy areas in our yard, you can bet we will be calling Laurie again at Plantenders! read more

I visited five nurseries in the area and this was the best. We bought citrus trees and succulents. They have a great large selection of drought resistant plants. It is a family business operated by the owner for many years. The owner has a degree is biology and knows a LOT about plants. The prices are very reasonable compared to other bursaries in the area. The owner is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time with us explaining different plants, and did not rush us or exerted sales pressure. The best plant buying experience ever! I would definitely go back here, and recommend this place to others. read more

Was looking for Pittosporum Tobira and had a tough time finding it at my local nurseries. Someone recommended Plantenders and although it was a little ways out I am really glad I went out there. Not only did they have it there but I found their prices on the whole are more economical than other nurseries. Super helpful and friendly staff and owner took me over and helped me select a large growth plant. He wanted to carry it over to my car but that was not necessary. Overall an A+ experience. I highly recommend Plantenders. read more

We had an amazing experience at Plantenders. Laurie (the owner) spent over an hour with us answering all of our questions and helping us out in anyway he could. He is a true plant-genius! I also loved that everything was local yet the prices we're less expensive than a generic store such as Home Depot. We bought a white peach tree and will certainly go back for more trees. They have just about everything we can think og! If you're looking for the perfect place to purchase an outdoor plant - this is your place!! Thank you Plantenders - we are very happy with our purchase & experience! read more

I would highly Plantenders Nursery! I bought a lemon tree and avocado tree that were very well taken care of, and they are continuing to thrive. I was cruising down Santiago canyon road and was curious about this nursery. The name was catchy and I saw rows of palm trees. As I strolled around the land, I felt at peace. They have plenty of succulents, palm trees, cacti, and other drought friendly plants. I am new to this gardening stuff but the owner helped me picked some drought friendly and low maintenance plants. Super happy with my selection and staff even loaded my trunk for me. Good stuff- worth a visit! read more

Plantenders Nursery - Picked this beauty up. Almost perfectly symmetrical with hints of green, blue and lavender. - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Silverado, California

This place is a hidden gem! Laurie is so nice and knowledgeable and always keeps it real. He's not "trying to sell you" stuff. He seems to really care that the plant is a good fit for your needs. The prices are great and it's also just a cool place to visit. Love it! read more

I wanted to buy a Santa Rosa plum tree from a local, family-owned nursery. After doing my research and reading all the great reviews about Plantenders, I gave them a call. Laurie called me back, gave me his cell number, answered all my questions, and was just so kind and knowledgeable and friendly. I paid extra for home delivery, and he even offered to help me plant the tree. As for the plum tree itself, I've never --in years of buying baby trees--seen a bigger, sturdier, healthier tree. Especially for such a reasonable price. In the two months since we planted our plum tree, it has grown nearly three feet. No joke: nearly THREE FEET. It even has a baby plum on it! I highly, highly recommend Laurie, and Plantenders in general. You'll be happy you chose them. read more

We got a Plantenders postcard advertisement in the mail. Decided to call them up and have them come out to see our backyard. Laurie, the owner came and gave us a detailed plan. He spent time showing us plants and discussing the project. He's a super nice guy and gave us top-notch customer service. We really enjoyed working with him and our yard looks fantastic-we couldn't be any happier! Prices are good and the plants are excellent quality. Nice nursery for specimen-sized succulents. I am redoing a portion of my yard and needed large sized succulents. Plantenders has a good selection of large succulents at excellent prices. The majority of their large succulents are $21.50. I picked out a large Echeveria at least 12" in diameter, Aeonium sunburst, silver dollar jade, 1 gal Sedum clavatum, 2 gal paddle plant, and another 2 gal Echeveria. There were some beautiful 15 gal and 5 gal agave attenuatas. read more

Plantenders is amazing...believe all the excellent reviews! Our front and back yard needed a desperate make-over so we decided to check out Plantenders based on all the five star reviews. We met Laurie (the owner) and he was so nice and friendly. He took his time showing us around the nursery and getting an idea of the plants we liked and the plants we didn't care for. He then came out to our home for a personalized consultation! He took measurements and photos which he used to create a custom plan. Once the plan was complete, we met and went over it together. It included photos of our yard, a plant glossary with photos of the plants and a reasonable quote. Did I mention all of this was complimentary...no charge?!! Once we gave the green light, he ordered and delivered all the plants and even placed them in the correct areas where they were to be planted. Our yard is gorgeous and I love looking out and seeing all the lush beautiful plants and flowers! He did such a great job figuring out what plants to use where, how many of each plant we needed, and giving it an overall cohesive look - I could have never done all that myself! He even brought over an additional plant and didn't charge me when I showed him an area that looked a little naked...talk about great customer service! And to top it all off, to my surprise Plantenders is actually very reasonably priced, which I was not expecting at all, from an independent nursery. In fact, I'm fairly certain its less expensive and better quality than the big box stores! Highly recommend! You won't go wrong with this place! read more

We received a referral from our neighbors for Plantenders. We have been wanting to remove our palm trees and replace with fruit trees. We had an excellent experience from the phone discussions to our visit at their nursery. We had ideas of what we wanted and they helped to guide us to the right choices to meet our space constraints. We ordered several trees and got a referral for someone to help with the palm trees. Glad to support a local small business in our community. read more

We had a great experience with Plantenders! We went to check out landscaping for our front yard and Laurie was super helpful in helping us come up with a design plan. He sat with us and listened to what we liked (and didn't like) and even came to our house in Mission Viejo to look at our yard, examine sun exposure, etc before putting together different options. He was very helpful and transparent with pricing. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family! read more

Laurie at Plantenders is so knowledgeable and friendly, and we could not be more thrilled with the trees he picked out and delivered for us (beautiful CA pepper trees, palms, oro blanco grapefruit, lime, tangerine). He came to do a house consultation and suggested some landscaping options, and with extra time at home now we are finally executing. The nursery has lots of great trees and plants, and he can order things he doesn't have and deliver. Also FYI in case you are looking during the stay at home orders - the nursery is outdoors and for now is allowed to be open, so its a nice respite a bit out of the city - or you can just call and they will deliver. Highly recommended! read more
