I downloaded their app, placed an order for a scheduled time, and it was ready when I got there. I went with the prime rib steak and cheese. Everything was cooked as it should have been. I thought the bread tasted fresher than a typical Subway sandwich. Chips were good. My only complaint was they gave me a bottle of Diet Coke instead of regular and I didn't notice until on the road. Yuk.. but I supposed it was better for me healthwise. Lol. This was my first visit to any Potbelly and I was impressed. I'll eat here again when I'm in the area. I look forward to trying some of their other sandwich types.

I took my father there on Sunday April 19th at 5pm. Before I get started with the negative, I would like the manager of this location to know that they are very lucky to have Maddy as an employee. Now for the bad: when we walked in, at least four tables were filthy. Three tables had their chairs up like they were getting ready to close and there were three dirty tables in the back. We sat at the only clean table. The employee named Katy should no longer be working there. I don't know how anybody gets paid to be that rude to people. She didn't smile she didn't say hello when I told her I didn't come there often she wasn't helpful. I only ordered two sandwiches and drinks. It was a low maintenance order and she literally made me feel bad for making her take the time to wait on me. It was a horrible customer experience. While I was there, some guy came in who had gone home and come back because he was given the wrong sandwich. I didn't hear her apologize once. I took a picture and it's posted on this website of the overflowing trash area. The picture that I posted doesn't include our trash. I had to put our trash on top of the pile of trash. The place was a mess. I will say there is potential in the employee name Maddy she was super excited about the company and how they keep things fresh. She was excited to talk about the company and seemed proud. To the management, this place needs one heck of a makeover in every sense of the word

Gluten-free rolls available!…read more DiBella's Subs is located in close proximity to the Corporate Plaza (Independence business district) and local hotel cluster (3 minute drive). There is plenty of parking in the plaza. My company used to frequently order catering from this location. And so, I decided to try something familiar while in the area. This was my first time at their physical location. Deli Feel: The deli has NYC deli feel - subway tiles and vintage deli art. Think a nice Italian elevated deli. It doesn't seem that there is A/C at this location or at least it's not running at its capacity. There were ceiling fans operating but on a hot summer day it was toasty. The restaurant offers tables and booths. I observed that most guests found themselves comfortable in booths. Around 1 PM on a weekday there was a steady crowd dining in and ordering takeout. Ordering: Your order is placed and picked up at the back counter. Signage is a bit disorienting. Think Penn Station type layout. You can also pre-order online. My order was ready quickly. I observed that other guests had to wait awhile. Orders were not called in the numerical order. If you have a large or complex order or are pressed for time, I recommend exploring online ordering. Menu: DiBella's menu is straightforward - subs, mini meals (5" small sub + side + drink), salads, drinks, sides and sweets. They conveniently highlight seasonal menu and top sellers on their menu. Best seller subs are Godfather, Turkey, and Cheesesteaks. DiBella's Subs are known for their old-fashioned submarines. They have in-house bakery, bake their own bread. They also market Grandma DiBella's cookies. While placing an order online or in person, you can choose your bread, cheese, and topping options. Gluten free menu items are available for all subs. My Order: I ordered 10" DiBella's BLT on sesame bread with American cheese for $11.39. The bread was very fresh and impressed me. The ingredients weren't notable - bacon was burned and clearly lower grade, cheese and veggies were just okay. I wouldn't say that the sandwich was heavy on fillings. The sub was fine, definitely not the best BLT in my lifetime. Customer Service: Customer service was condescending. The employee at checkout made visible unpleasant faces at customers. Questions were not well received from all customers during my visit. Questions were mainly order and menu related. Once it was my turn, I did not know where to look for bread and cheese options as a first timer. The menu was pointed out to me in a very impudent manner. It was really disappointing to witness interactions between customers and employees. Upon exit, I observed another employee returning to work looking very displeased. Hopefully bad service is not part of everyday culture. Catering: My company used to order catering from DiBella's. Orders were always efficient and right. Everyone considered the subs just alright. Bread wasn't as fresh as I've experienced at their location. Overall, it's a fine spot for a casual lunch if you're in the area. Good for catering if you want to treat your staff to something simple. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Beware your car! They have painted and redesigned the inside and outside. They have a few tables inside but it looks like it transformed into more of a takeout place. We ate in cuz by the time we got home it be cold we wanted hot food. Ordered 4 piece fish with fries, hushpuppies and a drink. We split it. 2 pieces each. It was hot and as I remembered. Can't beat that crunch on the fish. Fries were not quite as crispy. But ok. I like the chips/fries they are thick and good with malt vinegar. Lots of people taking out after work. It's a popular stop. Much better than last time I was here. Doesn't smell like a fried fish when you leave. Much cleaner too. Good fish. Chicken as I recall is good too. Light batter and crunch. Not too fishy. Good stuff!

Flavorless lemon pie- literally lightly sort of just smelled like lemon but otherwise was super plain. The fish pieces were lukewarm and lacking in flavor and somewhat dry. The chicken was bad- like two nuggets from McDonald's but also dry. The drink cups are only like 10 or so ounces which is quite small.

Anyways, I got the Italian sub (because when in Rome, do as the Romans) the gal did offer to heat my sub and I took her up on it. I'm from Pittsburgh so the lack of Italian food in Cleveland sometimes, and only sometimes takes a toll on me. This was a refreshing find for me. The Italian comes with muffuletta on it. You know, the pickled vegetable/olive mix famous in the French Quarter of New Orleans?... My friend got the Caesar salad but with oil and vinegar. They also have coke products here! I don't drink much pop but when I waste calories on pop, it is only ever Coca Cola :) You can get pizza by the slice to go. The white artichoke pizza slices would've taken 40 mins so I opted for pepperoni. They put my slices in bags and I was on my way. I asked about the weekend hours (so I could bring my boyfriend when we aren't working) they do not have weekend hours. Gotta get here during the week YALL! It is entirely worth the commitment.

That said, I was disappointed by the size. For $20, I expected a thick, hearty sandwich, but this felt pretty skimpy for the price. Ordering was also a bit frustrating -- I had to repeat myself three times, and the employee taking my order had AirPods in. When your job involves communicating with customers, that really shouldn't be allowed by management. Good flavors, but between the small portion and the ordering experience, it's only 3 stars for me.
