Came here one time and was honestly not impressed. Although I got my food to-go it was enough for me too explore my options of a different place around the area when I want some Thai Food! I tried calling my order in but every time I dialed, the line was busy... I ordered the Drunken Noodle since nothing else on the menu really appealed to me. The girl who took my order seemed annoyed and didn't really direct me on where the menu was, good think I looked at part of the menu online and knew what I wanted. Tough to write this review. I have eaten in and ordered take out many times in past. This evening around 5:15 I went in to pick up my order. While waiting for the waitress to help me, (which was longer than normal wait she was talking on phone taking a very long order) and there were three other customers standing/sitting waiting for their orders, I noticed the waitress was not wearing her mask properly. It didn't cover her nose and just barely covered her mouth. Most of the mask was down below her chin. If the front wait staff is not wearing protective gear properly then are the staff in the kitchen in compliance? Uncomfortable with this, I left and called in my cancellation. HOWEVER, recently I had ordered and paid for takeout, and because I had left the tip line empty, they took it upon themselves to write in a 20% tip after I had left. I ordered take out, the girl at the host stand told me 10 minutes. It ended up taking about 25, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The hostess was talking with her coworker and using her cell phone being super unprofessional. I took my food to the car only to find that they hadn't even closed the lid to my egg rolls or the sauce that came with them... come on. It's take out! I love this place! The Chinese Sausage Fried Rice is my favorite... and I don't usually like sausage or fried rice very much. The Volcano Beef is also a favorite. The food arrives promptly and tastes fresh. I like that they have multiple dessert options (not always common at Thai restaurants. Is this place under new ownership ? Something has change and not for the better . I love the food BUT when I put in Sri go order my cashew chicken with brown rice was awful . It was 1/2 the potion and it was chicken with onions and 3 cashews .. I live a bit always so I did not call or call to complain I just won't be back it's exspensive to eat out and for 13.00 I was shocked .. we frequently came as guests to eat and after this I doubt we will be back ... it's sad if someone thinks that a to go order won't matter it does ... as for the service one should not need to ask for water refills or to go containers when dining in !! read more

I am from Southern California out here on business this week. My hotel is very close to Planet Thai, so I decided to give it a try. I was quite delighted to find great service and excellant Pad Thai. I ordered my Pad Thai with shrimp and pork, mild spicy. I gave it a 9 out of 10! I also ordered pot stickers and I gave them an 8. The pad thai was pretty delicious, and the serving size was huge. Too much for one meal, plenty to go. My server was very pleasant and I will be back later this week for dinner again. You must try the Pad Thai. Not large portions the entree's come alone no soup or rice just the dish, there also aren't any condiments on the table I like to add chili sauce or soy sauce to my Thai or Asian food. There are no extras here unless requested or purchased. If you want a nice atmosphere and don't mind paying a little more I recommend it. I am amazed at how much this place has done with so little. I watched the space they are in rotate from one restaurant to another with it being too much of a fast-food place to too fancy and expensive. Planet Thai has managed to turn it into a respectable dining area. Although I have my favorites, I do not think it is possible to order something bad off the menu. And this might just be a personal quirk or just appropriately attuned, but their ratings for spicy actually are spot-on for me. I'm at * working my way up to **. My favorites are Garlicky and the Drunken Noodle. I feel it is reasonably priced for what you get and how you get it. Loaded up my brats and headed out on a Friday night, not wanting anything fast foody while the creatures were being good we went to Planet Thai. We were seated right away, must have gotten lucky because the place was filled. Our service was top notch and my kids loved the presentation of the awesome food.
