Really disappointed... And $16 poorer. Im an experienced ice skater and love to power skate as exercise. I had been looking forward to skating here for a while. Unfortunately, they don't regularly sharpen their rental skates and, thus, even after having the staff use a professional sharpener on the blades, they were beyond saving. I tried 4 different pairs in my size but I was not able to get a pair where I felt like I could safely propel myself forward without sliding on top of the ice. Im leaving two stars - because the staff at least tried to help out by sharpening the blades. Unfortunately, since the the blades had been so poorly maintained, this didn't help much at all. I ended up skating one lap and then leaving because I felt unsafe (like it was a matter of time before I'd fall). I will say that the ice was relatively well-maintained for the one lap I skated. Better than I was expected based on prior reviews. Overall - terrible rental skates that are beyond repair. Sadly, a waste of $16. read more

It was not a well time. The staff would not let us eat food inside and people kept taking my walker to ice skate. I was trying to help my friend but the staff would not help. I would not recommend. My friend was also harassed by a lady and kept insulting her. Overall i thought it was a fun time. read more

Fun place!! Great place to have a party. We really enjoyed the music. They even played a couple of line dances.

There was only one pair of figure skates in my size. 8.5 women's. The blade in the left boot had an angle that didn't work for me. I asked for a refund just because 15 dollars is a lot to not skate. They refused because they have no power to do anything. I will never go back because 15 dollars is way too much for sitting in a bench. read more

It's at least ice in the south. Surface is pretty beat down and going into the corners for the puck isn't recommended. Locker rooms are pretty small. Boards are very uneven. And the place is pretty hard to find. read more

Thankful to have an ice rink in Louisiana, especially one that offers a Learn To Skate program and figure skating lessons.

My kids had fun, but the ice wasn't well maintained. The workers were not very friendly and when they were told about a situation it was blown off. This place seems to be ran by a kid. We wanted to order Nachos but noticed a guy sitting at the bar packaging Nachos with his hands no gloves and in between packaging he was eating. GROSS The bathrooms were very disgusting. This place could be amazing if someone were to actually care about it. read more

I witnessed a staff member sell JUUL PODS to a 12 year old Saturday night. If you don't know what that is look it up but here's a summary. They are vapes that contain nicotine which is 5% nicotine. Also 1 yes only 1 juul pod is the same as a pack of cigarettes. If this is the kind of business they're running then I'm never going back also they had 12 and older just smoking inside. If I could give this this 0 stars I would. I'm not the one to leave reviews actually this is my first review but I felt this needed to be said. read more

Very unsafe and unorganized. This is the only ice skating rink in Lafayette. We went there Friday night and Saturday night. They admit so many people that the ice gets very crowded. Some teenagers ride very fast and stop quickly, which is unsafe. The staff do not do anything about it. People ride in different directions, however they want, some are on their phones while skating. Needs to be better supervision of the rink. read more

Overall the skating rink itself was nice and open and well kept. That's where the good ends though. The entire experience other than that was very unpleasant. The rink was very disorganized and like a previous reviewer said there were people everywhere speeding on the skates while texting. I was almost hit by reckless people texting several times and the staff does nothing about it. I'm hardly over 21 so usually I'm pretty tolerant of teenagers but some very horribly behaved people were there. Easily 90% of the people there were probably 15-19 years old one of which produced a taser and ask my date and I if we'd like to be tased. If there was a better regulatory system on people's behavior this would've been a much nicer experience as the facility was nice but until more rules are set I won't be returning. read more

I booked a Gold party there, but knew that I wouldn't have enough food in the offered "package" and brought extra. The room and rink were nice and yes they are all young so if you are looking for elite customer service they may disappoint you.. this is the 3rd year we book here for my daughters birthday because overall we enjoyed it. We had the rink to ourselves and the snow was fun. My daughter loved it and if you don't mind pulling a little extra weight, its a great place to have fun for a birthday party. My daughter had a birthday party there this past weekend. What a disaster! The party "hostess" was difficult to get in touch with to even book the party so that should have told us to stay away! The day of the party the "hostess" came in to bring 3 pitchers of drinks and we never saw her again. We had to ask for the pizza, we had to run back and forth from the party room to the concession stand to get more cups, more ice cream, more spoons, etc. It was ridiculous. We also ran out of pizza and had to cut some slices in half to feed all of the kids at least one piece. They knew we had more kids than the party supplies covered but they never asked us if we wanted to upgrade to get more pizza, etc. We would have been better off just allowing the kids to skate and then going somewhere else to eat pizza and cake. The other staff was marginal at best. I felt like the entire place was run by teenagers who didn't care and who stayed on their phones most of the time. At the end of the day the kids did have fun skating so that's all that matters but I wouldn't spend my money on another party there. read more
