This was our third visit, and it was definitely the best! The Flashback game was AMAZINGLY enjoyable. The workers are always super courteous. We have made it a custom to go every anniversary, and we hope to return next year! read more

Amazing experience!! Our host, Malek, helped us feel comfortable (we picked the scariest room) and was so funny and nice! The room was so intense and super challenging but he assisted us throughout the way when we needed him. Would highly recommend the Revolutionary room for large groups! read more

I have to admit it was funnier that I thought it would be. It was my first time me and my gf were virgins so we didn't know what to expect but the kids go often. We struggled a little but it was supposed to be the hardest room but wE got out with 7 minutes left. I may go back when they make a few new rooms but not really my thing but a good afternoon with the kids is always great. Not many 18 year olds want the old folks tagging along. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great experience. read more

This is really awesome and fun for all ages! I'm not sure if all rooms are "mystery" based, but the room we did was basically about figuring out what happened to a missing Hollywood actress. You use clues around the room to figure out how to open various locks. Some of the clues are pretty tough to crack but are so creative and exciting when you figure them out. We didn't escape unfortunately. I thought for sure we were close but we had 3 or 4 locks left to open lol However, the $25 per person price tag (approx. $28 with tax) is kinda ridiculous. I hope that can be lowered in the near future. I'd like to take my niece and nephews there but.... Oh and NO phones allowed so no pictures, sorry! read more

Great fun and something everyone should try. It is a great teen/adult group activity. This is my third escape room adventure and first in Lafayette. We did the House of Assassination and I would highly recommend it. The puzzles and clues were tricky but after some false starts you can eventually solve them. There were some technical difficulties when we were there but the staff addressed immediately and were very gracious hosts. The three others on my team were new to escape rooms and they all talked about it afterward and are ready to try again. We were successful in solving our adventure within the 60 minutes so everyone feels smart. Haha! Highly recommend Congress street location. read more

This was a great experience! My husband and I played 7 rooms over the course of our stay in Lafayette, and we were not disappointed. The rooms were challenging, immersive, and an complete delight! The staff and management were fantastic, and the game master did a great job of knowing when to give a helpful nudge in the right direction. I highly recommend one of their escape rooms for any group wanting a challenging, bonding experience! read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting Lafayette for the weekend to help my sister transition to her new school at ULL and we were looking for things to do. I found this place on Yelp and it had a few reviews, but they were all generally positive. I invited both my sisters to join us, but my youngest sister (the one going to ULL) was unable to make it in time because of the excessive flooding that occurred around South Louisiana that weekend. Anyways, we decided to try and solve the House of Assassination which is one of their pre-set rooms where we are tasked with solving a mystery in order to break out and save the President. Without giving too much away, I will say that coming into the challenge, I was very skeptical about how tough, fun, or challenging something like this could be. But man, I what happened during that 60 minutes was pure joy, confusion, and satisfaction after we figured things out. The three of us were extremely motivated to help each other figure out what the next clue was, and in the end we were ecstatic to have "Escaped the Room." My verdict: Although a bit on the expensive side ($28 per person), this 60 minute game is a great team building exercise. I would suggest using this game to help build communication between couples, siblings, friends, or anything in between. A MUST try if you're in Lafayette. I will definitely be back to take on another challenge. read more

Kids wanted to come here so I decided to tag along. "It'll be fun they said". Boom! What a blast. I won't say what room we were in but I felt like a prisoner and we never broke out. Lol. It was a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with the family and leave the electronics locked up! We will be back soon to take another stab at it soon! read more

I did the Bayou Nightmare escape room with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and we loved our experience. This was our first escape room, so we were unclear what to expect going into it. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely enthusiastic. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely excited to be there. The room itself was small, but the space was well utilized and the details of the room were impressive. From floor to ceiling, there was detail to make the room feel like a cabin in a swamp. The puzzles were interesting, well thought out, and challenging. If we lived closer to the area we would definitely come back to do the rest of the rooms! Would definitely recommend this place! read more

My friends and I went to an escape room for the first time last night, and though we were outsmarted by the puzzles, we were invigorated by the challenge and will return again soon. Our game master Connor set up the escape scenario expertly -- we were immersed and had a fabulous time. I will recommend this to all my friends. It was a great way to spend a Saturday night. read more

This was so much fun!! A good friend of mine and I went this past Thursday and did the Bayou Nightmare. Let's just say we didn't quite make it but had a blast. Wish we had a few more minutes, we got to the very end and ran out of time. The staff was super friendly. Will do this again!! read more

Escape room is awesome! Went for a family activity for the Christmas holiday! Perfect place for a group of all ages! Can't say enough about Katie who was our game leader, she was fantastic! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Katie!! Merry Christmas!! read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk in, but you're greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. They explain to you what they are and how it works and if you choose not to play they're totally respectful of your opinion but if you do decide to play they help you pick out a room they think would be fun for you. I did quite a few of their games and Mystery Manor is by far the most amazing and interesting game they hold. Amazing experience every-time I come, and an amazing staff that makes me feel good when I win, and make me feel like I'll do better next time when I lose. The game masters I've had are always nice and even help me when I don't ask but they can tell I need it lol. Amazing experiences and I will be back, again. read more

WARNING: If you are going in a group this business is not completely truthful about the payment policy. We were told upon booking over the phone that we had to pay upfront when making the reservation. They run your card immediately while you are on the phone. If not all of your party shows, they DO NOT credit your card. I was told that I should have asked for the option for them to simply hold my credit card number until I arrived. I didn't know I had that option it was never offered to me over the phone & they simply said that they don't offer the option you have to ask for it. How do you ask for an option if you aren't told you have an option????? *** They put you in a situation where your only option is to lie about the number of people attending so you won't get overcharged. Better to be undercharged than overcharged. And, the icing on the cake......When the mystery was solved, there was mechanical failure & the key never dropped. Very disappointing. They simply came & opened the door. read more

Went with friends ages 14-32. Had fun, will do again. We appreciated the friendly staff.
