Grant with the curly hair is the only reason this place this place isnt 5 stars. First off he slowed down the kart because my uncle told him the seatbelt was too tight. Then he did it agian. Then he randomly stopped us when we tode together because he thought our kart was "bugging." Very unprofessional. Then too karts collided and he ran on to the track and almost made me hit him. Then a girl ran us into the wall and he didnt check on us he asked the girl if she was okay even though she was responsible. He made the seatbelts way to tight and every time i slightly touched somone he would yell at me. Very rude. read more

Kart Ranch is great place to bring kids and the whole family. Our kids are on the younger side, 3&5, so we couldn't do everything - but they loved everything they could do. The Kid Zone is awesome and the play place kept them running like crazy. The arcade is spacious and has lots of variety of games - would definitely come back here! read more

Had fun at the cute mini golf course, go karts and the batting cages where Ryan really stuck out as a great employee. Most of the employees did not seem to enjoy working there but he was very personable, quick to fix the machines, and even offered ice for an injury. read more

I see a lot of 5 star ratings for Kart Ranch and if I was comparing this to any other location in Lafayette that is similar, my rating would be 5 stars too. So, I am going to offer two reviews with an average of those as what you see. First off is the game area. The game area is pretty good and probably bigger than "chuckles" game area and priced similarly. The batting cages are decent and the mini golf is decent. The go carts I would rate as only fair as there are many many to cart locations around the country that are so much better. This are safer and more family oriented to carts that probably max out at 12 to 15 mph. Fun for teenagers but for those seeking go cart racing fun, this isn't going to satisfy. The pizza was decent but definitely overpriced and that is where my biggest complain is. I have lived in half a dozen different cities and there are newer parks with more amenities for less money, plain and Simple. In fact, the all day pass for $75 here is usually $40 to $50 at several other parks I have been to and they even have newer and more expansive parks. With all that said. I would rate Kart Ranch 5 stars for the Lafayette area but 3 stars if I compared it to other locations in the country that are similar. So, 4 stars average. Enjoy! read more

The Kart Ranch is an iconic piece of Acadiana and played a special part in my childhood, in addition to young adult life. I worked there as an outside attraction attendant making $5.15 an hour when I started. Worked my way all the way up to $6.75. Anyway, this is an amazing place, I love these guys! read more

Haven't been here in years, so I didn't know what to expect. This place has grown by leaps and bounds since I the last time I stopped by. They have an incredible arcade, and their attractions are really well done. And the guy at the counter said there is more to come (bumper cars coming soon!). I brought my daughters and my grandkids to Kart Ranch over the summer and we all had a blast! It can get a little pricey but totally worth it when you see how much fun they're having. We enjoyed the pizzas and the kids (big and little ones) loved the indoor games too. I think the two favorite parts for us were the boats and the go carts. It was just a super fun day! Oh and the staff was incredible! I was so impressed with each and every one of them. Great job y'all! We will definitely be back. read more

This place is amazing. Everything is great about it, from all of its fun things to do to its wonderful staff! We didn't get a chance to do the mini-golf or use the batting cages, but everything else we did and my kids l.o.v.e.d. it!!!! Its reasonably priced and very clean. They serve all types of food, so you can go and make a day of it with your family, and not even have to leave to go eat. I would totally recommend this and I will be returning! I have never been so impressed by customer service in my life. The kids who work here are amazing. My 4 year old had the time of her life. The staff catered to us in the midst of a very hectic public elementary school field trip and rain storm. We got the wrong pizza and without even saying anything they brought us the right pizza and apologized! They waited on us hand and foot. Every employee who passed us asked if we were okay and if there was anything they could do, to let them know. I just moved to town and we are going to be back very, very soon!!! read more

We went to Kart Ranch a few weeks ago for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised! There is a very nice mini-golf course with water hazards & a challanging layout. There is an indoor arcade with a wide variety of games & a big playhouse for smaller children as well. The food was good, the pizza brought back a nastalgic feeling to the kind we used to get at the drive-in theater (yes, I know I'm dating myself!) We didn't have time but will be going back for the water war, bumper boats & go-carts. They also had batting cages. read more

Very nice place to have a kids birthday party. Go-carts, bumper boats, various arcade games. What else could a kid or big kid want?! There are three birthday rooms, but some are a bit cramped. Just spent the day before school starts at Kart Ranch. Although it is pricey, it was very busy. The food was decent (pizza and burgers) and made to order. The reason I'm writing a review is because of the exceptional staff. Everyone my grandchildren and I interacted with were friendly, helpful and competent. A little pricey, but hey everyone that went had a blast. I will say this though, there was barely any place to sit and eat, I couldn't do that and go to the inside play ground with the little ones. This place was great! I came here with my boyfriend for the batting cages. We didn't try the arcades or go karts, but the staff was very attentive and friendly. Restrooms were clean and the place was easy to find. I would go back again and would definitely recommened it! read more
