Extremely disappointed. We special ordered a Maverick here and thy low-balled us on our trade in so badly it killed the whole deal. Our trade in was apparently worth several thousand more to several other dealerships, but since the markup on the maverick is so low they don't want us to buy it so they can mark it up 10k and make some money off of it. Second time trying to take my car in for a recall fix on the breaks of my Ford Fusion. I took it in Monday and told Ford I have a trip Friday afternoon so if they can't get it done by then I'll take it another time. On Thursday I learned it won't be done until Monday... Ford did not provide a loaner or a rental car like most decent dealerships would do for a recall warranty. They said if I were to pick up the car I'd have to sign a statement that I rejected the recall and now I'm without a car and have a trip in a few hours. Will 100% not be going back to this dealership. I am in the market for a new vehicle and will never buy Ford car/product in my life time and will tell anyone else to stay away because they leave their customers without a car for the mistake they made on their bad design. Like I stated previously the last time I tried to take this car in for the same warranty I was told it would take over 3 weeks... I've been waiting on this recall for over 2 years and now that is approved it's almost impossible to get it completed. Now I will have to waste hundreds of dollars on Uber due to this dealership's incompetence and lack of customer support or care. One positive note is the service advisor Brett has been very timely in his communications to me and has tried everything he can do on his end to help out but it looks like the decision makers do not care about their customers. This is the first time I've ever left a bad review on any company or product and I've had some bad experiences in my life. I heard about Planet Ford on the radio, and decided to check them out, as I was looking for an F150. Their prices were great, so I contacted them. I live 130 miles away, so everything was done via email and text. I was nervous about this method of dealing, but they took great care of me. I got s price commitment from them, drove 130 miles to find MY truck clean and ready for me. My salesman had us sign the necessary paperwork, took us to meet the finance manager to discuss financing, then to the final stage of closing paperwork. I was in and out in an hour. Buyer beware!! The vehicles may be fine, but they can be dishonest as they are pretty notorious on bait and switch tactics. I went in last November looking for a truck. I went in twice and each time I was told that the ones I wanted were sold, and then one of them was miraculously still available, the dealer and I agreed on a price, and was given the vehicle a few days later, but the finance papers were not ready, was told to return in 2 days, and then was told another 3 days. When I returned, they raised the price by several thousands of dollars!!! The dealer lied to me and said he got me another one that was more expensive, and I proved him wrong since he signed me off for the cheaper one, and the dealer tags with the cheaper one as well. The nerve on him when he told me that price is no longer valid!!! After telling him to take the vehicle back and threatening to leave as well as removing all my belongings from it, he ran back outside and argued even more. He agreed at the end to give me close enough to the price that I wanted, but this is probably the first and last time I will ever buy from these guys!!! If you want to buy from them, do everything you can to protect your interests. Document everything they say and do as well as the price of the vehicle on the same day that you go to buy it from them, even record them. Make sure you have enough proof on availability, and agreements because they will sneak things and try to deny even having put the price. Steer clear unless you want a half ass car buying experience. Our experience started off wonderfully with the help of Mr. Gabriel. He greeted us right away, explained the truck month that was going on and took us on the lot to look at some STX's. He also took us for a ride then let us test drive one. He was very polite and personable. I could see why they have him on the front line as the first point of contact. He brings us inside to discuss pricing and introduces us to JR, who calls himself a sales manager. Right out the gate he asks us "are you wanting a low price or a low monthly payment?" We say "low price" next he asks, "are you looking to pay cash or finance?" We say "finance". He then says, "so you don't want the lowest price then." In a very arrogant condescending tone. We say, "no we want a low/good price and we're looking to finance." Just like everybody else out there who doesn't have $40,000 cash lying around. From there it just went downhill and we left 2 minutes later. After we explained to him his tone was not okay. His condescending demeanor was not okay. He did not understand what was the matter. I don't understand how this place functions with people like him on your staff. Maybe it was an off day for him. I don't know. But when you come to work, you come to work and put your game face on. Without customers he has no job. Treating them with some decency and kindness would help just a little bit. Without customers you don't have a job, so that's why you have to treat anyone that walks through your doors with respect. They're paying for your service. In turn paying for your hours and the reason you have a job. I am a sales manager myself at a Marriott hotel and have not spoken to or treated any of my clients/guests the way he treated myself and my husband. Maybe it was the way we looked. We're pushing 30, but still look like teenagers coming from high school lol and we had our son with us. So I don't know if he was judging us by the way we looked or what. Bought a used car in Jan of 2022. They put new tires and said they did an an alignment according to service records. Had nothing but problems with the alignment since then. Took it to quick lane and $300 later they discovered the problem with an adjustment to the sub frame. So, Planet Ford did not do a proper alignment to begin with. They will not refund my money. I own a 2020 Mustang GT with 13,800 miles, the transmission on the car is giving me major problems so i dropped the car off at the dealer on August 18th for repairs and was told it may take 3-4 weeks before they could look at it to determine the issue, it is now September 30th and the car has not yet been looked at and I could not get anyone on the phone even after calling a dozen times over the last two weeks. I went to the dealer today to find out what is going on with my car only to be told it has not been on a lift nor will it go to a lift for another month or possibly two. So i moved my car to Doggett Ford today and they will have it in the shop within the next week. I took my truck into Planet Ford because the catalytic converter went bad. It is covered under warranty. I took my truck in 12/28/2021. They called me 2/21/22 and said they got the part but I needed to buy a battery, mine was dead. My truck sat out unlocked at Planet Ford. I said the battery worked in December. First I just want to say, Kiefer is absolutely amazing! And I just wanted to give him his flowers real quick. I had been receiving recalls for my airbag, and was finally able to schedule an appointment to have them changed out. Kiefer called to let me know that he could arrive early since he had finished a prior job early as well. Not only did he arrive early; but he changed my airbags out in less than half the time than stated. I wanted to be a bit nosey, in regards to how they were changed out, so I asked if it was ok to watch for a bit. He answered every single question that I had; and was extremely professional, respectful, and courteous. Not only that, he vacuumed my car. Then they told us the guy who is the service writer for my car got fired and they would forget about my car. There was a crack I. The windshield and they filled it in the best they could it's still there. They didn't keep communication open with us or work very fast. Most of the reviews appear to deal with the Ford side of the dealership. I had very pleasant experience on the Lincoln side. I signed up for the Lincoln Date Night program and got to test drive a Lincoln MKC for 24 hours plus a $100 Visa gift card. The showroom is very nice and the bathroom is quite luxurious. I worked with Todd and my car was ready when promised. I was handed the keys and my gift card and on my way within 15 minutes. The next day I returned the car and did not experience any high pressure sale what so ever. The only negative was that I was told they would wash my car that I left at the dealership. I went through collision my car was hit it took them a month I had I rental I went to pick up my car the engine light was on the horn didn't work or my brake lights all the things that worked before ! brought it back. Then on Aug 14 they decided to run our credit again with out our permission and tell us that the vehicle is ready to be purchased and come pick it up. Planet Ford took my money! I recently took my truck into Planet Ford for an inspection. They charged me for the inspection service but never gave me an inspection report. I left dozens of messages, email and even made a personal appearance. I never received a return email, or phone call. I was told they did not have anybody who can "help me and would have to wait for a return phone call" when I showed up in person to get the report. That call never came. Since this is a vehicle under warranty it should have no problem passing. I disputed the charge with AEX where Planet Ford simply responded that the service was performed but never produced an inspection report for them either. I messed with this for 6 weeks and finally went to another shop for the inspection where I had no issue. To this day Planet Ford will not issue a refund and has never returned a phone call. This is how they treated a customer that purchased a new $90k vehicle and had an issue in the service department. Beware if you choose to use their Service Department as there is no follow-up and the threat of reviews is of no concern to them. Although not a lot of money, I could not get any concern out of customer relations, service writer, service manager or the General Manager. This is NOT a shop that should be supported. read more

Purchased a 2 year old vehicle april 2019, now September 2019, this vehicle which has had to go back in 3 times is now not covered under any warranty other than the original manufacturer. They even charge you $75 diagnostic fee to tell you they won't cover the vehicle deficiency. Not exactly what the salesman (liar) says when selling you their amazing services, yes amazing is correct, but not in the way they sell themselves. PLANET Ford/Lincoln is definitely a good name for these people, they really are a bunch of space cadets from a different Galaxy. Avoid at all costs or don't say you haven't been warned. Pulled me to his desk around all other sales guys and basically talked shit about my trade and caught an attitude. Told me he doesn't want to do business when I basically didn't bow down to him. Shame, because the salesman was awesome. Get bad for him and could tell he was embarrassed but deals with that ass hole often. This is a "volume" store. And the sales manager made it very clear he doesn't care about customer service. They also marked up the online price another $2100 when I got in the store with things that are unadvertised on the website. (That's another thing he caught an attitude with me on) The visit ended with me throwing the paper work back at the guy and telling him some very choice words. Ended up buying at AutoNation Ford Gulf Freeway with 0% for 72 months about 1.5 hours later. The GM, New Sales Manager and the salesman we're beyond great. Price was not competitive and finance manager was arrogant and patronizing. Used all the usual tropes of trying to talk about monthly payment instead of vehicle price, saying that I couldn't be interested in 0% financing if I just cared about price, then turning around and telling me 0% financing was the best deal. Where do I even begin... I called mid June to make an appointment with the service department to have a few things done on my 2018 Expedition, I told them that I am going out of town the week of July 1 and won't be back until July 8 and I specifically asked them if they will have an answer for me on what is going on with my transmission. I dropped the vehicle off Friday June 28, I hear from Mark, the manager... on Tuesday, says we got you a new key and are looking at the back light which they say has a "Crack" and needs to be replaced (the whole back light) for $450.00! I asked whats going on with the transmission? He states "we don't have an answer for that yet" okay, at this point I am still out of town and its only Tuesday. Mark says he is going to call me on Friday July 5 with an update. Friday comes and its late in the afternoon and I finally hear from Mark... GUESS WHAT! the problem still has NOT been looked at. So my car has been sitting in their parking lot for a week now with no answer or even a guess as to what is going on. Mark says he will call me on Monday. So here we are on Monday July 8... Mark doesn't call me. I call the service department at 3:30 PM and have to wait on HOLD for 15 mins while they get ahold of Mark. I hung up and called back and someone in the service department was very sarcastic with me saying "I did call you this morning" I said uhh no. and then he kept saying "yeah I did call your husband this morning" I was with my husband all day running errands and going to the DMV so if he did I would have known. So, they finally get me on the phone with Mark who once AGAIN says my car has not been looked at. So I asked Mark why and he gives me the run around. I tell him that I made an appointment a week ago to have it looked at and they still haven't done it! he says he understands and I asked him how he understand if he has a working vehicle to get home with? or if he needs to take his children to the hospital with if god forbid something were to happen! So out of the kindness of his heart....................... he was able to find me a loaner vehicle until they can "look" at my transmission. while I am standing at Mark's desk he calls to the service technicians and says "pull tag 4090 in first thing tomorrow morning" WOW THATS ALL IT TAKES??? An angry customer standing in front of you asking WHY it hasn't been done yet?? So they call me Tuesday afternoon and tell me.... they know theres a problem, they know that its shifting hard because they can feel it when they drive it but FORD tells them they don't know how to FIX it so they deemed it as "fixed and safe to drive" even though its not fixed and nothing was done! So I call to file a claim with Ford. they contact me and tell me they are going to call Charlie the direct service manager. I call Mark to see if I need to come get my car while this is all being done. He says he doesn't know and let him go talk to Charlie.... a few hours go by and no phone call. so I call Charlie direct. He was incredible RUDE. Kept saying this is the first time he's talked to me (which I already knew) kept raising his voice at me. had the absolute worst customer service for a manager. anyways Charlie was so heated he told me to come and pick up my vehicle right now. Okay, GLADLY!!!!! So I pick up my vehicle and it smells really bad.... like spoiled milk. well while I was buckling my car seats in I notice dried milk or coffee on the seat.. so I wiped it off so I could put my daughter in the seat and then I notice all over the floor was spilt coffee!! Thank goodness I have floor mats because if I didn't it would have stained my floor!! the bottom attachment of the seat was unattached and had to spend 45 mins with my husband trying to fix it! And there's a broken piece from something that I haven't figured out yet! After calling for two days and not getting return calls. Finally got a hold of someone and was told they were just getting to it, day 9. Not even a courtesy wash or vaccum when they gave it back. I experienced a road hazard on 2/13/2022, called Planet Ford on i45 & asked if they had availability to work on my car. They told me yes, assigned my case to a rep and took in my car. A couple weeks go by and I hear nothing so I follow up and am told my car is being worked on. Later on I'm told that there is a delay as they're backed up in workload. When I follow up again I'm told the original rep got fired so my case was handed over to someone else, thus delaying the case even more. At this point I'm irritated because 1. Why am I finding this out weeks after I hand in my car 2. Why do I have to call back to back to get a status update? Isn't that their responsibility to follow up with me & let me know where I stand with them??? 3. They're not in communication with my insurance provider at all it seems because I'm having to put the 2 in contact constantly going back and forth and 4. Knowing that they're weeks late and I only have 30 days with a rental vehicle, WHY DID THEY NOT OFFER ME A LOANER? I had to literally call them back to back to back, freaking out about being left without a car & a ride to work due to their irresponsibility for them to finally agree on giving me a loaner vehicle. All of this caused me extreme panic and chaos, I couldn't focus on my work, I had to miss a day of work while I figured out how tf to get to work, I had to pay for UBER out of pocket & when that became financially burdensome, I had to beg for rides before they FINALLY gave me a fucking car. Once I get it, it takes another month for them to supposedly get the parts in and change the part (changing the part itself takes a max of 1-2 days, AT MOST. The timeframe was elongated due to parts not being readily available but 2-3 months of a backorder, really? Why Didn't they say that before I just left an essential part of my life in their hands?) They gave me an estimated time of completion of 1 month and it ended up being nearly 3, from 2/13 or whatever until 4/29. Anyway, I'm calm, cool and collected throughout this entire process even though it's caused me so much extra stress, time and MONEY.... But I'm working with them, right? When suddenly I get a flat (because life happens). I get the flat changed on my dime and put a spare on it and now I'm being charged with replacing the tire at nearly $240 on top of everything else. I understand this is their loaner vehicle and they can make up the terms and conditions but all of this could've been avoided had they 1. been completely transparent about their capability to fix my car in a timely manner and 2. honored their word regarding the timeline for when my car would be ready to go. Nearly 3 months sitting out in the sun, chilling, waiting to be worked on while people ran around doing everything but following up with me and upholding their word until I had to call in back to back like a Karen is incredibly out of line. I know that my car and my life isn't a priority, but I'm a paying customer. All I asked for was for transparency and consideration. Had I gotten my car back when they promised they'd have it done, the flat tire would've been on MY car and not their loaner vehicle. Shit happens, that's life but all of this could've been avoided with a little transparency. read more
