If you ever have to take your vehicle and they assign you Chance Hess run as fast as you can. He won't respond to your calls, never answers the phone, and pretty much lied to my wife and myself by stating he can't help with warranty information which the Ford warranty people said he never submitted it and could have. He also lied saying they denied the warranty when in fact they never received it. Tried reaching out to his manager and he just told me to buy a new truck which I would advise never to do as your vehicle will be left in service for two months with no updates, or returned calls by Chance. This was the most frustrating auto mechanic experience of my life and I've owned 5 cars in the past 30 years. My car was in this shop for 2 months and 4 days. For the first two weeks I just trusted they would get the job done. Then after two weeks I called them and they tell me that they still don't know what is wrong. Two weeks go by. First they thought it was one thing and now it's something else. Two weeks go by. Then 2 more. Now the engine needs to be replaced. Every time I called to check in there was something new and they didn't bother to call to let me know. If I hadn't called them they would still have my car. I bought a 2021 ford bronco sport; I purchase an Extended Service Plan with Roadside assistance during the buying of vehicle in the shop. Which cover major repair including for Rental up to $40.00 to 10 days with 100.00 deductible. On April 9,2024, I was driving, and this error message popped on the dash "CHARGING SYSTEM SERVICE NOW" and a red battery symbol, right before the vehicle complete cut off on me while I was driving on a main traffic street. The vehicle wouldn't hold stay on unless I got a jump from another vehicle. I took the vehicle into Planet ford quick land because I thought it was a battery issue and I had a battery warranty. They quickly replace the battery but the error message didn't go away. They informed me it could be the alternator. Since it was late in the afternoon, I called Planet Ford Service to explain my issue and i was bringing my vehicle in for them to fix. I asked for a loan since I paid for this service. I was informed they didn't have a loaner and the next loaner would be ready in June 2024!! Remind you it is April 2024!! I was thinking it would be a quick fix, No it turned into 10 total days of my vehicle being in their shop and me paying uber to go to work. I called the service manager Greg, on the 7th day and 9th day left voice message and no return call. I would never buy a Ford and I would tell others never buy Ford and definitely dont buy from Planet Ford Spring! This service center is refusing to approve or honor contact rights. Also, this is breach of contract by sale provider of product. The dealership service center refuse to resolve this problem which lead to this complaint. read more

We went to Planet Ford on February 28th to look at purchasing a F150. We were paying cash. The dealership said they had a few trucks for us to look at. We were shown a truck, test drove it, and decided to purchase it. During the test drive, my husband noted a check engine light was on, but our salesman assured us that it would be taken care of prior to us taking receipt of the vehicle. We made it clear that we wanted it taken care of PRIOR to us picking up the truck. It was made ready that evening, so we drove from Cypress to Spring and took possession of the truck. The check engine light was not on at that time. During the drive home, the check engine light came back on. I texted our salesman and let him know that it was back on and asked if it was something critical. Every single alert for the check engine light for the entire duration of this issue was about the malfunction indicator lamp. The next day, I left messages for his advisor, but she never bothered to respond to me. I wound up calling the service department myself and after convincing them that it was NOT a used truck but a brand new truck, they agreed to take it back in and see what the issue was. We dropped the truck off and picked it up a few days later. We were assured that the issue was fixed. On the NEXT day, the light came back on. I called Planet Ford back and spoke to the service advisor and told him that it was still not fixed and we were tired of taking it back and forth so we'd need a loaner. He was able to secure a loaner for us and also informed me that the sales department had a note on our file saying to clear the code ASAP and give the truck to us on the day that we purchased it. So, part after part is shipped to the dealer, including incorrect parts. So we keep waiting and waiting. I ask to speak to a manager in sales to ask why they're selling vehicles to people with known issues. Some guy calls me back and basically gaslights me telling me that I don't understand that check engine lights can be nothing and that it's no big deal to sell vehicles (brand new) to people with problems. He also told me that I should be happy that we have a loaner so that we're not putting miles on the vehicle that we paid for. Meanwhile, I'm on hold a ton with Planet Ford during this month with their hold ads regaling of how great their customer service is. We've never experienced that to this point and are incredibly unhappy with them and by extension, Ford. It took forever for them to even talk to Ford engineers despite being clearly over their heads with the vehicle since nothing they were doing was working. It finally wound up being multiple part swaps and finally a sensor changed out to fix the problem. Our vehicle was finally done. I had told them about a recall notice the app told me about the integrated trailer relay module. I was told it would be done, but it's still showing as incomplete. Since we've picked the truck up, EVERY TIME we reverse it, it says reverse braking assist not available. So, two more things to fix, but we will wait likely until it needs an oil change and bring it to a different dealership since we 100% do not trust Planet Ford to fix the issues without causing further issues. Garrett has been polite and nice to deal with, but the overall communication has been shoddy and this has been a disappointing experience from start to finish.. Dealing with Planet Ford has been a joke. Their claims of good customer service are a joke. We spent well over $80,000 to get a vehicle with a known issue, gaslighting, and no one wanting to take accountability for how this issue even happened in the first place. Vehicles should be in working order when they're sold to people without check engine lights. That shouldn't be a thing. My SUV needs to be replaced soon and Ford has lost us as customers. We will never buy a Ford again since the behavior of Planet Ford is apparently acceptable to Ford corporate. And we are incredibly disappointed that what should have been a great purchase has been marred by such a horrible experience. read more

We were told by many people to stay away from this place, because most of the people here are crooks. We would have gone literally anywhere else but unfortunately we were purchasing a 2024 Mustang and they are hard to find depending on what you're looking for. We worked with Andrea and even though she had only been there for two weeks I don't have any complaints about her so this review does not reflect her in any way. The issues we had were multiple people trying to steal the deal from her constantly. Or saying, they should get a cut of her commission because they helped her out with something. we initially planned to do a trade-in/trade out deal to get the tax savings on the car we were purchasing, but they would not communicate with our buyers bank and our buyer got scared off and said they would only do the deal through us and not through planet forward. So we lost $3000 in savings right there off the bat. We did go through with a purchase And while in finance asked questions and were lied to. We also explicitly told them that we did not want any extra plans on the purchase and they were added anyways. We purchased this car at X plan price and when we got home and reviewed the paperwork we found almost $4000 worth of extra things that we did not agree to and we are not told about. Luckily we had a signed paper from the manager that I got a copy of that had the purchase price of the car, including tax, title and license and I believe that is what saved us. We went back up there a day later and thankfully they did not give us any trouble taking everything off. But had we not done our due diligence, they would have gotten away with it. I don't recommend purchasing a car from here. But if you have to, then ask for Andrea. And I also highly recommend you are very knowledgeable in buying cars or bring someone with you who is so they don't try to pull one over on you..because they definitely will. read more

I'm writing this review as I sit in the waiting area. To say I'm unhappy is an understatement. We bought the extended service warranty on our truck at purchase. It's a 2020 F150 and it was time for the first service. I delivered it to Service yesterday morning at 8:00 am. I have had to call 3 separate times in the last 2 days for the status of our truck. No one reached out to me. I was told by my Service Tech this morning at 8:30 (when I had to call them) that my truck would be ready at 12:30. It's now 2:00 and I'm sitting and waiting on the oil change. I have to say my first experience with the Service Dept at Planet Ford Spring has been extremely disappointing. How long does it take to do a 5,000 mile check up and change the oil? They've had the vehicle for a day and a half. read more

The guy that checked me in seemed a little shady. He asked me what services I wanted. I told him I was there for my first oil change. I asked him what other services he recommended. He told me that I needed to have my fuel injectors cleaned. What a joke. If a new truck needs fuel injectors cleaned, I need a different truck. Bottom line is, know what you need ahead of time. They lie about what's on the lot, no one knows where any vehicles are, the one you are interested in conveniently isn't available but another higher priced one is...and, the kicker...you get ready to actually get a deal done, and oops, suddenly the price is more than what you were told. Obviously you can expect TTL fees, but I'm referring to raising the base price by $1000, hoping you won't notice. Then the gaslighting begins...you are told that was always the price, despite it being written down, etc. Then it'll be "well, the car is ready, keys are here, you just need to sign or you gonna let this little thing stop you. If you are, have a nice day." After reading the other reviews, apparently this is the norm of operation. Wish I had read them before I got there. Truth is, they probably don't care if you walk away. We went to 2 Planet Ford one in 45 and the other in 59 and their managers really did not want to let their Ford cars go. No room for negotiation in both Planet Ford dealerships. In 45 sales rep. by the name of Carlos Herrera no help. The one in 59 my husband spoke to a sales rep. by the name of Ken Riley and no help. I believe that it really wasn't the sales rep. fault but the managers for their poor services. We ended up buying with Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena. I went online and had a young man by the name of Jonathan May who contacted me. I explained to him my concerns and no games. I know for a fact that all approvals comes from the managers. Mac Haik at Pasadena has the best managers with no game playing. This is the first time I had a dealership who made my experience run smooth. All dealing were made by text and phone. I even closed the deal through text and phone in one condition that no add ons should be added when we arrive there for signings and their wasn't. Very impressed! Jonathan May jreally did a great job helping and communicating with me throughout the whole process. He really goes above and beyond. Thank you Jonathan! And Thank you to all the managers! Their customer service is a joke. Bought a new f250 and had a recall on the driveshaft. Took it in and was told the part had to be ordered but we couldn't take the vehicle back with us. No loaner. No rental reimbursement. After trying to make due without the vehicle for about a week, I called into ford and got a rental reimbursement covered for roughly 3 weeks. The amount covered would not put us back in a truck which is necessary for work. When the time was up, still no part. Had to sign a waiver of liability to get our truck back and asked to be notified when the part came in so that we weren't out a vehicle for however long this took. That was about 6 months ago. Which were out before I got it. I went to take it in and they said they couldn't fix it because the previous owner must have put some sort of tuner on it. So I have to take the tuner off before they can work on it. How is that? If I never did anything to the engine? This is how they sold it to me. I can't find anywhere to get it taken off. Hello, Online application was easier than dealing with salesmen who have bad intentions on deals; if you must lie and make a profit, then you know that what you sow is what you shall reap. I spoke with Randy, who just wanted me to come in, The application I submitted was never discussed except trade, 2015 Malibu and of course I know they must appraise the value. No problem. The 2024 Edge was the vehicle I wanted to purchase; it cost over $27,000. But the overall payment came to over $31,000. (WHY) just liars trying to make a profit, god blesses the honest one's. Then I got a call from Michael, another manager or sales rep, wondering if we could schedule a time to come in after leaving work. I wanted to confirm our appointment, but they said he left for the day. Ridiculous!! They want a commission and do not care about the buyer, so they gave me the run around: buyer Beware: shop around before coming here, and who doesn't ask for your paychecks or proof of residence anymore?
