Went here and bought a 2014 Kawasaki concourse when I got it home after being told all the services were done I found out that the rear shock was blown. They try telling me I blew it on the way home, because I didn't call them the exact moment I got on the bike got home to check my fluids. My rear brake reservoir was completely empty and when I went back to talk to them about it, they just had the OEM shock rebuilt come to find out it's not a rebuildable Shock it works, but that's beside the point, and as far as my brake reservoir, filled the rear reservoir, never bled the brakes and told me that they did bleed them but when my mechanic did, he said the huge air bubble came out and as for my air filter, it had looks like it never been changed since the bike was new read more

I couldn't find anyone to do the recall on my Polaris for 6+ weeks. Put my name on the list and they were able to take it within two weeks. Fixed and ready within 24 hours. While I was there I went upstairs to look at new helmets. They have a great selection of apparel and accessories. The guy upstairs was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Because he was so knowledgeable I asked him a question on a fit problem I had with some Klim Klutch boots I had been given for Christmas. He gave me great advice and direction on how to solve the problem. And he did this despite the fact they weren't purchased there. I will definitely make the effort to buy apparel and accessories there. read more

They called to keep me informed of what was happening with my bike. They fixed it. Even though it was a 2005! I don't do Yelp reviews but was so turned off by this business I wanted to share my experience so others can avoid my fate. I dropped my ATV off in late July 2018 to have a new starter put in. Five weeks went by until I called them to inquire. The guy on the phone says "I was going to call you today; the key wasn't in it." I know I left them the key in it but, nonetheless, I run my spare key over to them. The guy at the counter tells me they will work on it next. ANOTHER 4-5 weeks go by and I call back. They tell me it will be $990 to fix. I had another quote for $475 which I originally thought was high given a starter can be found online for $100. Then, when I go to pick up my machine they want to charge me a $95 "diagnostic fee" and won't return my machine until I pay it. So, almost three months later my machine hasn't been fixed and I spent $95 for nothing. These guys are awful, unscrupulous and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. read more

Dropped my Bike off for a valve adjustment. They said it would be looked at the following Friday (2 days after I dropped it off). The NEXT Friday I called because I had not heard from them. They told me it was on the schedule for that next Monday. Called the Tuesday after that Monday, they told me Thursday. Called the Friday After that Thursday, they told me the following Tuesday. 3 weeks for a 4 hour job is ridiculous. I picked it up that Tuesday with my Check Engine and HESD lights on. Got it Back home to inspect it myself. They had swapped two plugs and left another disconnected. (These plugs are color coded) They also left vacuum hoses to my air box disconnected. Throwing off my MAP sensor. VERY Slow Shop. Pitiful Customer Service. Careless Work. Bring your business elsewhere. read more

Very disappointed!! I dropped off my four wheeler on January 2, 2018 for a carburetor cleaning. It is now February 26 and the machine is still not done. Nobody there seems very concerned for accommodating to the situation. I am in the market for a new snowmobile, however it will not be purchased from this dealer due to their service department. read more

I bought a new Polaris ranger 570 last summer and everything about my experience there was terrible. I had pat as a sales man and I wish I had gone to hk in Hooksett. I bought the machine knowing that it did not have the hood latch,so I got the machine with duck tape holding it down until the new one came. After about a month of driving around with duck tape I called and asked where it was. I was told that they had the latch but were waiting on other parts for my brand new machine. They tried to remedy the problem with a gift certificate. They are shady people and I regret doing business with them. read more

I took my Polaris ATV to this dealer for the first time. They said they were 2 weeks out for repairs and that seems like the norm to any type of power sports business. After 3 weeks I called them and they said they couldn't figure out the problem and were waiting for a Polaris tech to call them and would call me back. 2 weeks and no calls back so I finally had to go pick up my unit and bite the bullet and take it to another dealership. 5 weeks after dropping it off. They waived labor fees and I was happy about that, but my newer battery was completely dead, my rewind pull was hanging out and a new rewind was installed 2 months earlier. My side plastic motor covers were laying on the seat and the bike had water pour out of the winch area telling me it's been sitting outside for an extended period of time since we are in a drought and it rained out 2 weeks ago. They obviously don't care about customers equipment and have inept technicians. I took the unit to Dasilva motor spots up the street and they figured the problem out almost immediately. So I guess I will have to try can-am out for my next machine and it's to bad because I always had luck with my Polaris machines. I would never even think of going to plaistow Motor sports in the future, especially for mechanical issues. read more

I was belittled and insulted to a point today that I'll never be back in that establishment. I called them about two weeks ago to get an appointment to drop my sled off for service and some work on the suspension, they were two weeks out which led me to today. I went in to drop my sled off for a Monday's appointment. I went in and talked to the guy behind the counter, a younger guy that was eager to help. I explained that I was having a problem with my suspension bottoming out so much so that it was gouging my heat exchanger. A service guy walked in and told me I wasn't bottoming out. I told him I was as I have gouges to prove it. He then told me I needed to read the owners manual. I told him I wasn't completely sure how to adjust the suspension and I might need a stiffer spring. He told me if I got a stiffer spring it would ride hard, blah blah blah. He told me Apex's are not supposed to be studded, and in a 2009 the shock probably should've been rebuilt five times ( it only has 3700 miles). He clearly wasn't sure what I was talking about and wasn't familiar with Yamaha Apex's. When the first guy behind the computer asked him how he had to put it in the computer, the guy told him it should just go in the garbage (it being my sled), and clearly I was adjusting the suspension for my wife. At this point I was insulted and clearly they didn't want or need my business so I asked, do you not want to work on it? He said he would do whatever I wanted but I needed to read the owners manual. At this point I just walked out. PPS will respond to this review and say they are sorry and how important customer service is to them but clearly it's BS. The first kid I talked to behind the computer was even a little shocked at how the other guy was talking to me. PPS is the closest Yamaha dealer to me but in the future I'll have no problem driving to get some professional customer service. This was by far the worst customer service I've ever encountered, it was almost like the guy genuinely disliked me and I don't even know him. read more

I Purchased a Bike listed on Ebay. When the auction ended I paid in full and sent an email with my phone number letting the dealership know I would be contacting them to arrange pick up. No one ever called or emailed me and a day later I received a notice with no explanation requesting to cancel the transaction. I called the dealership and they told me they sold the bike to someone else! After they told me they double sold the bike they sent an email to Ebay saying that the bike was "unsafe" so they had to cancel the sale. I had to ask them if they were going to do anything for me and when they offered nothing I inquired about taking the riders course. I was offered the course at their cost, meaning it would cost them nothing but I would still have to pay almost $200. On top of that they wanted me to drive up to Plaistow to pick up some kind of discount ticket for the class! I tried to contact New England Power Sports main office to let them know what happened and no one even called me back. I did get my money back, but Plaistow Power Sports backed out of a contracted purchase on a paid for item and then lied on Ebay about why they did it. I wouldn't go anywhere near this place on Ebay or in person. Dishonesty and unsatisfactory treatment of a clearly wronged customer is no way to do business. read more

Chris Kenney is the reason I bought my brand new Polaris Rzr 900 Fox. I could have given my business to any dealer selling them. But Chris was super friendly, laid back, and very knowledgeable about the product line and the industry as a whole. He listened to me. Listened to my idea of what I thought I wanted and needed. He listened to what I thought I knew about the product, etc. He then asked me a few questions to gain a better idea of what type of riding I will be doing, areas and terrain I plan on riding, and what purposes other than fun I may be using my soon to be new machine. Chris did this for one reason. He wanted to ensure that he was going to help me find the machine that suited me best. Of course he could have sold me the first machine that I walked in thinking that I wanted. That would have been a quick and easy sale. But I know now that he cares not only about the current sale but also about the continued happiness and satisfaction from his customers for years to come. Through the whole transaction process Chris treated me like a brother. He never acted like I was a stranger. He made me and my wife very comfortable and we never had any doubts about the information we were given or the purchase ahead. I thank Chris for being genuine and not just another fake dealer sales manager. Plaistow Power Sports should be proud to employ someone that possesses such an enthusiasm about the industry, products he is selling, and the people that he is building relationships with. A couple of roadblocks came up during and after the sale but none that were something caused by Chris. However these issues small or not we're not only dealt with fast and professional but also with a genuine caring attitude. I always say no matter where you take your business in life; restaurants, buying a new car, etc. mistakes will happen along the way. However it's how the mistakes are dealt with and handled that sets that business apart from the rest. Chris Kenney (CK) has done a great job keeping Plaistow Power Sports ahead of the competition. He has stayed in touch post delivery and I update him after each new ride and adventure. I have made a new friend and it's not often one can feel that comfortable but there is no reason why not. Chris sets the bar for all other dealers to follow. I will only give my business to Plaistow Power Sports and recommend all of my family and friends because of the trust that Chris instilled in me and our friendship from the moment he introduced himself to me and my wife and shook our hands.
