"The board cited several additional reasons for the revocation based on audio recordings of Bergstrom, including jailhouse phone calls that indicated he was practicing medicine while in Monterey County Jail." "According to court records, Bergstrom once inadvertently left a dictation machine running in his office that recorded him offering to sell cocaine or trade it for sex. He admitted at trial that he traded prescription drugs for cocaine." At one point, Bergstrom was my elderly parents' doctor. Bergstrom did not have the patience to care for geriatric patients. Bergstrom may have been good with tall, thin, young, leggy blonde gals BUT I cannot recommend him for senior citizens.

I have never heard of this, but I wanted to understand. I asked questions, asked for clarification, tried to get numbers to go with the protocol. Probably was on the phone less than 5 minutes. The receptionist became irritated and said OMG not under her breath. I feel that was unkind and uncalled for.

I was very impressed when I receive Dr. Saito's letter explaining about my health when she first transferred to work with the Montage in Carmel because the clinic has very limited a period of times to see a patient. We are always greeted by the same familiar smiling faces each time we visit, which is great, especially when they're part of a big hospital system like Montage. What prompted my review today is an incident where my mother received a bill for a visit she had at Montage, which has never happened. Her Medicare and blue cross have always paid for her visits. My mother was upset and didn't understand. She called the office and was transferred to the office manager who explained why mom was getting a bill. She did a wonderful job explaining but mom wasn't convinced. Marie, the manager, called mom's insurance company on a three way call so they could also explain. At this point, mom handed the phone to me since she was getting a little frustrated. When the insurance representative got on the phone, Marie very clearly explained the situation and the insurance representative was able to explain and confirm everything Maria had told us. I was just so impressed and grateful for Marie's kindness and patience with my mother. Explaining these complicated insurance matters to elderly people cannot be an easy job but she was so sweet and genuinely wanted to help mom. It's obvious why this office is so well run and has such a lovely staff!

Getting a prescription refilled or transferred is a major task as half the doctors do not even respond to these requests and a quarter of them don't get it right when they do respond. Trying to reach someone on the phone normally requires several messages and hoping for a call back. The doctors have no clue as to how backed up other services are and write an order for an ultrasound or CT scan for a specific time frame only to have the patient discover the earliest appointment is a month after the doctor wanted the service.

Had an emergency surgery two months after a terrible cycling accident. Inundated with medical bills…read more($10k) I called this office's billing department at least 3 times to request some kind of payment arrangement while still sending partial payment everytime I get billed. I even had to correct their outstanding balance on statement at one point. NEVER got a call back. Their reason is outdated and must have been recorded in 2020 saying "they're working apart from each or working from home due to the pandemic." Given that that's still they're arrangement at work, I still don't understand why no one can call me back. I also requested this online but it was "being reviewed" for I don't know how long. I've given up on being able to qualify for assistance or a payment arrangement even and by now, I've paid off majority of my bill and I get a call from collections that's probably related to this one, since this is the only one I have balance on.

As soon as he got results of tests he let us know as soon as he knew and didn't make us wait a minute longer than we had to. We would have had to wait 2 days for results from the normal Dr, instead he reached out personally within minutes of him getting them. He just gets it and does everything he can for his patients.
