You would think that for a place that considers itself a high-end store, the service would be exemplary. But no. I waited almost 15 minutes for the ONE employee to let me in, but it never happened. He was too busy serving the other people inside. I get that it was a Monday, but in that case, how about changing your rules to show that you actually value the customer? I talked to the client before me after the fact, and she said the place was very expensive and definitely not worth the wait. Thanks for sparing me the pain of waiting to get into this supposedly classy place, with a marked lack of class! I came in with my sister who was looking for something to help her husband. He is dealing with cancer and we are trying to help him deal with the day to day agony. My sister and I have never smoked cannabis but we are desperate to find relief. After being welcomed into a beautiful store, almost like walking through Barney's again, we met and talked with Koby. He is an absolute wealth of information. He listened to us with compassion and kindness. He also asked us questions and explained to us in detail about the difference between THC and CBD and their medicinal effects. When I asked him a question he wasn't sure about, he opened a drawer and pulled out a book and after a couple moments he gave me a concise straightforward answer. Koby recommended we try giving my brother a high CBD capsule along with some edible products to help with sleep and appetite. Not only did we leave with new knowledge, we also left with hope. I wanted to see this new dispensary but after walking by and talking to the nice security guard I decided to skip. For starters, it was empty, not a soul around and the decor and the lab coats the staff has to wear is strange. Just seems to miss the mark. This shop might sell cannabis but it seems like they are trying too hard. Place is uncomfortable. I like to support all local businesses but I am going to stick with Big Sur Cannabotanicals. If you want the best service, best flower, best prices and all around great experience, head just around the corner.
