It truly breaks my heart to have to write this review. My experience with this Medical location for over the past 10+ years has been perfect. Not until Dr. Saito got a new assistant, that is. Here is my experience with her assistant:
1. Called to get an "updated" strength on my prescription because the current was not working. Still have the old one so needed stronger cream. I was very clear on the reason for my call.
2. The assistant called me back, she said Dr. Saito agreed to updating and it will be called into CVS.
3. Picked up prescription after work- and sadly did not open the CVS bag until I got home.
4. It was not what I asked for- instead I paid $65.00 for the same exact item I still had at home, which was the reason for my original call to update the strength... what happened?
5. Called CVS and they will not return- told me the issue it with the doctors office and to call them in the morning- she said "Your Doctor owes you $65."
6. Called Saito's office the next morning and spoke to the assistant again- who began lying to me... said to me that I did not ask for stronger strength cream. I told her that is not true= Why would I call you for the same thing I already have that is NOT working?
7. She, in her machine like curt manner- told me I was lying, and kept cutting me off from my sentence.
8. Finally she agreed to call the pharmacy when they open. I told her it is 8:30am and they are open now. She said they are not open... (wrong again)
9. I called the CVS pharmacy- pressed #1 for doctors and spoke to the pharmacist and he said they are open!
10. I called Saito's assistant back to let them know CVS is indeed open, only to have the nasty assistant tell me that they don't answer for doctors until later! What??? Why is she lying again??? Who is she kidding? I told her to press #1.
11. So the assistant has now lied to me 3 times. She kept degrading me on the call in her machine-like curt speaking manner, speaking to me, cutting me off - that I was so shocked that my voice was getting stern as I insisted that I was not lying and "did" ask for a stronger cream. I was insulted! After all the years of being with this office and never having a problem with staff member. She said she would call CVS and for me to stop screaming at her? This was the final straw and I needed to stick up for myself and stop letting her intimidate me. Was she trying to deflect what she did to me? Why would she say I was screaming? I told her to stop saying "I was screaming" because I wasn't. Wait, I get it, it was so that those in the office would hear her, a way to again change the topic from her ordering me the wrong prescription. I hope that the other girls in the office do not fall for her act. She said she would call me back and hung-up.
12. I got her call back. She sharply asked me, 'do you have the old prescription and to read the label"... I asked why, you don't believe me? I already told you it was the same, do you want me to text you the proof? (Again she is deflecting from her mistake and seeking that perhaps I made a mistake?) I read her the prescription and told her it is the same strength as what she ordered for me at CVS. Again she began cutting me off and would not let me speak. She informed me that their office will give me a check for $65. and that I will be "discharged" from their office? I began to tremble and shake with tears, what was going on? I told her I did not want the money- she said, yes, you asked for $65. (Here she goes again, lying to make me look bad to those in Saito's office) NO.... I did not, I reminded her that the women at CVS commented that. I did not ask for anything but the correct prescription and because of her embarrassing, lying, rude, curt, sharp and nasty manner, I have now lost a great doctor and office that I have grown to respect and love for years. I did not want to give her the satisfaction hearing me break down and cry, I ended the call with simply stating that I can not talk right now and needed to hang up. End of call.
I am stunned! After being a patient with this office/company for over 10-11?12 years... never an issue, never a problem, not even when I had to update and change/rotate my doctors inside this office as they moved or quit Montague. But this person, Dr. Saito's assistant, is lying to me- lied (I can only guess) to the doctor and those in the office to protect what she did from becoming known. She was not only curt- sharply rude- lied- treated me, a local 69 year old woman like I was dirt, but is trying trying to defame and embarrass me with an office that she just joined months ago?
She should be discharge, not the patient! read more
