Some of what we experienced: Fast appointment times Call backs to answer our questions (for us, the same day) They follow up with you Helped with other medical issues Having a team of doctors to review/address issues when needed Genuine compassion This list may not seem like much but it has made a world of difference to us. Early on, our daughter asked if we should seek treatment from a well know medical facility up in Palo Alto, which we considered. So glad we didn't as the treatment throughout to include Pacific Cancer Care has been above what she would receive if we went that route. Without getting into details of our situation but the care my wife received was incredible and no doubt saved her life and eased her pain and stress and anxiety.

I went to CHOMP to see him for my last follow up and some extremely curt and rude woman claiming to be taking over for Mr. Tamler came in and asked me a few questions then ran me out of the room like i was interfering with her day or something.. If you're looking for a Doctor who is dedicated, has good bedside manner, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, listens to you, leaves no stone unturned, and will advocate for you then this is the place. Dr. Cunningham is one of those rare gems in the field of medicine that I personally feel all Doctors could take a few notes from. She cares and it shows. We have alot of history as today, I am going on my 12th year of being Cancer Free. In the very beginning of my treatment, Dr. Shiffman wanted to go outside of the box, get other oncologists opinions, anything that it would take because my prognois was prettty bad...a few months at the most. From the very first appointment he had me...his warmth was genuine and his determination was strong. I could call the office at anytime of the day with questions...he has a fabulous staff and I get an answer pronto from either the Doctor himself or one of his assistants. Dr, Shiffman held my hand during some very difficult times and decisions. While an Oncologists has to have one of the hardest jobs in the field of medicine, he always greets you with warmth and a generous hug and you, and during that visit, however long it takes, he is all yours 110%. Thank you Dr. Shiffman for all that you have done for me and so many on the Monterey Peninsula fighting this thing called Cancer.

I am 51 years old, athletic, stubborn and have not been to the Dr. in many years(other than an OB gyn). I finally was in enough chronic pain that I decided to get my hip replaced in November 2014. Well...I go to my preop and they tell me that the surgery is a no go...you have issues with low blood counts. They told me to find a hemotologist so I asked for a referral from my GYN and she suggested Dr. Shiffman. The long and short of it...he worked with another dr in Chicago and talked with a dr in San Francsico about my case and figured out that I have Myeloma. He explained that it is smoldering and it is difficult to diagnose. I was able to get my hip replaced and am feeling good. I now have a great Onco in chicago and I am being watched with no treatment. If I hadn't met Dr. Shiffman, I may have remained one of the many undiagnosed patients. Dr. Shiffman really cares!

I'm not completely out of the woods yet, but the herniation pain that I've been dealing with is already gone. I still have some muscle soreness and tightness, which is to be expected, but the difference is remarkable. Deb, Dr. Sohrab's assistant, made the entire process incredibly easy. She was always available to answer my questions, walked me through every step, and even provided helpful videos explaining what to expect before and after surgery. As a former professional snowboarder, I've had my share of injuries and surgeries over the years, so I'm not new to the process. Without question, this was the most comfortable, organized, and stress-free surgical experience I've ever had. I'm grateful to Dr. Sohrab, Deb, and the entire team for the outstanding care.

The other is that God connected us with a very good doctor. Dr Alexander and his team took good care of me throughout my pregnancy. They made this not so easy journey during a very difficult year a joyful experience for me and my family. We are very appreciative of their knowledge, professionalism and a safe yet very cozy environment they provide. This office also has very friendly and caring staffs and nurses. Their professionalism and patience make every visit a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we are going to move out of the area. I wish my next OBGYN doctor can be close to Dr Alexande. We really wish that when we have our next baby, we can be back to the area so that we can see Dr Alexander again. That's how good he is!
