Then he claimed there was a bomb in his vehicle?!? This is going to be one interesting day in court. I've been a regular customer at this station for 15 years. As a Shell cardholder, I save $$ every time I buy gas at one of their stations. During the past six months they've also been running a promotion with Fred Meyer so you present your Fred Meyer Rewards card to the attendant and save an additional $.10/gallon. This location is great because it is right on I-5 at the eastside of the Nyberg exit. Unfortunately it became a little less convenient several years ago when they built the Nyberg Woods Shopping Center across the street. Rather than being able to enter/exit from both directions, they constructed a barrier so now you have to drive backwards through the La-A-Boy parking lot to reach the station if you are heading west on Nyberg. Lame. Gas is a necessity. Saving money on gas is really nice considering the way the prices have been creeping up lately. A double discount (Shell and Fred Meyer) ensures I'm still one of their regulars.

I stop here with 5 miles left to E i pumped 1 gallon of gas to test the machine before I fill my tank and it gave me no gas but still charged me so off to the next gas station, with 5 miles left and adding a gallon would had put me around 30 miles, and I still stayed at 5 miles to E. I requested refills of two prescriptions. One was on order. I waited three days and then went to…read morepick them both up. It was Friday night at 5:45pm and the pharmacy was open until 7pm. Upon my arrival they informed me that they had both but one would not be ready until Monday. I picked up the one and drove home. Halfway home I got a notice that the 2nd perscription was ready. It was 6:20pm. I should have just been told to wait for the 2nd perscription. Crazy. Then I wondered why did they say it would not be ready until Monday? I looked up their pharmacy hours and discovered they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This is so odd as I chose Walgreens for the convenience of picking up prescriptions when I'm not working long weekdays. I wonder what folks are supposed to do when they need a prescription on a weekend?

The parking lot is easy to access and the store flows well. The prices are higher than average. I'll never do all of my shopping here. But I like the aesthetics of the displays and I like that it's a local business. This particular spot has above average customer service as well. A great place to stop if you need fresh flowers or a delicious pastry or baked item. The coffee bar is actually pretty decent and their produce is pretty legit. However, I've always found that the wine selection is what makes it most distinctive. Definitely a specialty grocery store but a place worth checking out and visiting every so often when you feel like a special treat for yourself or someone special. Happy shopping!
