I have been using Rite-Aid for years but it seems to be dying and its customer service is already dead. I put in an online request for a prescription refill and it went through fine. (I rechecked because sometimes the online system doesn't work.) The prescription was for a medication I take weekly, and I couldn't request a refill until one week before. However, when I went in to the store, already out of the medication, they told me they no longer handle this medication. Why couldn't they mention this sooner? Why didn't the online refill system flag it? But it gets worse. I went to another pharmacy to transfer the prescription and created an account there. Now several days later the new pharmacy says they're still waiting to hear from Rite-Aid for the prescription info. Apparently, no one at Rite-Aid is interested enough to pay attention to patient needs. I had already noticed they were getting slower at refilling orders and checking messages, but now I'm going to miss my medication because of their laziness. I am now in the process of switching all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I can no longer trust Rite-Aid to have any interest in my health or the thousands of dollars my insurance and I have paid them. read more

They need to hire a person in the pharmacy strictly to answer the phones, obviously from the empty shelf's throughout the store the pharmacy is the only thing keeping their doors open, customer service answering phone would be MUCH appreciated. I called to refill a prescription I take daily because for some reason it's the only one Rite Aid refuses to auto fill, meaning I tend to run out if I'm not 100% on top of it. I put in my refill request only to receive notification a day later that they are out of my medication. I've attempted to get other pharmacy's to fill my medication, but I can't because I'm waiting for Rite Aid to release it. I've called them 10 times today and counting, and so far nothing. I'm planning on giving them hell when I get down there in person and asking them what their problem is. If you want people unhinged without their meds to go off on you, Rite Aid is doing a great job of it. No one in their empty store will answer either. It's no wonder this place is going out of business. Since they're still open though they need to do their job and fill people's prescriptions that unfortunately are still stuck with them. If yelp allowed swearing this review would be full of the expletives I've been yelling all day over them screwing me over. I'd rather go to an El-Salvador prison than deal with this shell of a "company". Good riddance to an awful store. read more

The staff at this location is why we've never looked at other stores The front cashier literally greets every person as they enter the store. This location is ALWAYS clean & well maintained. The pharmacy staff is top notch greeting us by name & letting us know (without being asked) if they are working on multiple medications in case you want to wait, or needing to order a medication & really accurate on when they expect it as well as approximate time it should be ready for pick up. I love that the Pharmacy Tech, Monica, is very well educated on her department & has been able to offer additional options on a few of my medications to make them easier to take. Jasmine, who cashes you out (as well as stocks medications & assists all of the department) is ALWAYS delightful & efficient making checkout a smooth process. This location is always very busy, but the employees have NEVER shown frustration towards the customers (which say a lot considering the poor attitudes the public seems to "dish out" on a regular basis. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Rite Aid. I've been very sick and trying to get a prescription filled, which has already been a struggle to coordinate. After several attempts, I finally got through to a woman who was incredibly rude and dismissive. She spoke to me as if I was a burden and had no empathy for my situation. When I tried to express my frustration, she hung up on me because she didn't like my tone. I'm sick, in pain, and just trying to get the medication I need, but instead I was met with the most entitled and unprofessional customer service I've ever experienced. It's near impossible to get them on the phone, and when you finally do, you're treated like you don't matter. I'm distraught and deeply upset by the lack of care or consideration shown by the staff. It's Rite Aid. I'm only giving props for the awesome 92 year-old (not a typo) cashier. I've never met anyone at that age still working retail. She's very nice, spry, helpful and efficient. After all the problems Aire Aid in Tigard, on Pacific Hwy, on Thursday, Oct 13th' created for me (you can see it in my previous review). All long night I suffered from heartache and couldn't sleep. In the morning at 8 AM, I called my cardiologist in OHSU, Dr. Shalen. He specializes in caring for patients with a wide array of cardiovascular diseases including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease, among others. The RN on duty called me back and after a few minutes of interviewing me on the phone, she expressed her concern about my speech and the way I was breathing. She recommended going and seeing them in the clinic. As soon as I got into the clinic, they started some exams and connected the EKG to me. The next thing I knew was ambulance came and transferred me to the OHSU ER. To cut the story short; I spend all day Friday, Oct 14th', in the OHSU Emergency. I have contacted; The Oregon Board of Pharmacy and have made the official complaint. And the next step I am sure to seek legal advice. read more

Went to my primary care physician this morning at 7:00. She said that I needed a TDAP booster update. I called Tigard Rite Aid to ensure that they were "in network" for my insurance. The Pharmacy manager couldn't say but said that he would check when I was in the store. I then asked to make an appointment for a TDAP immunization and was told that I MUST make appointments online. I went online to make my TDAP immunization appointment and found that the soonest appointment was for 2:20. I filled out the copious forms to identify that I wanted a TDAP immunization, I have not had previous adverse reactions to immunizations, I have no applicable allergies, I do not have covid, I have no relevant comorbidities, and that I selected the 2:20 appointment timeslot. The website response was to display a page that allowed me to refill prescription medication. What? I couldn't tell whether the appointment that I selected was booked. So I looked for a link that I could check my outstanding scheduled appointments. There wasn't one. So, I tried to reenter the appointment information and found that the 2:20 appointment was no longer available. This made me hopeful that the appointment was actually scheduled. I arrived at Tigard Rite Aid at 2:10 and went inside to avoid being late for my appointment. There was no signage that directed me to an appointment line. Just prescription pickup or prescription drop off. Both lines were very long. I chose the prescription drop off line and, at 2:20, approached the attendant letting her know that I was present for my 2:20 appointment. Her response was to admonish me for being in the wrong line. What? How was I supposed to know? I then got in line at the prescription pickup window, which also had a very long line. After waiting 10 minutes, I approached the attendant and let him know that I was present for my 2:10 appointment. His response was to let me know that he was helping another customer. So I waited. Again. When it was my turn, the attendant asked me for my appointment confirmation. I explained that I was not given one and that I had spoken to the pharmacy manager and was 1) directed to the website to make an appointment, 2) I filled out all of the information and answered all of the questions, 3) I selected the 2:20 timeslot but was met with a prescription request form instead of confirming my appointment, and 4) there is no link for confirming one's outstanding appointments. The attendant curtly told me that I did not have an appointment. I then asked if there were any appointments remaining for today and was told that there were no appointments scheduled for the day. So I asked to speak to the Pharmacy manager who asked me to fill out all the forms that I previously completed and he would "try" to fit me in. When I tried to speak with the store manager, I had to wait another 10 minutes and when she arrived, I tried to explain what I endured but let slip a swear word. This woman then chose to dismiss all that I said and reprimand me for swearing at her and told me that she could not help me. Then I began to swear. Her response was to ban me from the Tigard Rite Aid. My thought was that she must be daft to think that I am even interested in giving my business to Rite Aid again. Which I am not. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RITE AID AS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE UNHELPFUL, EXPENSIVE AND INEPT. read more

I was in this evening twice because the provider sent the meds for my wife's prescription to the wrong location. The counter and pharmacist at Rite Aid quickly corrected an issue they did not create! This Rite Aid has been my pharmacy for over 20 years. It's been so because it WAS (was is the operative word here) great. They were always on the ball, friendly and never had a snafu with my medication. Ever! But I've been having nothing but trouble with them for months now. Their phone system literally NEVER works. It's been broken for MONTHS! So, there's no way to talk to anyone about your Rx without physically showing up there. And if you do, well... it likely won't be ready and you'll be met with apathy. I was finally so fed up today (after having tried to call about 10 times and physically showing up there yet again!), I asked them when their phone system might be fixed as it was really causing problems for customers. My reply (stated in a rude manner) was "well, it's causing problems for us, too." Ummmmm... yes, I'm sure. But this is unacceptable! It's a pharmacy. I have now been out of my critical medication for two days and I wholly blame Rite Aid. I will be switching pharmacies. read more

I accidentally transferred my prescription here instead of the one on Main St. First reaction was grumble grumble grumble..now we had to drive all the way to King City. However, when we got there, I'm kinda glad I transferred it to this one by accident. This Rite Aid is huge and they have good stocks on items they sell in store. The pharmacy was fast and efficient. It was in and out in about 5 minutes. I think I'm gonna keep my prescription here and just drive extra miles to King City. I can do some serious shopping in this part of town. read more

I recently moved and have had to scout out a new drugstore, supermarket, etc. Let me tell you that I've been so pleasantly surprised over and over again at how very friendly everyone is out this way. This Rite Aid is awesome. First of all, it's so clean and shiny and has a good assortment of things. Just makes you want to look around. Management is awesome and could not be more helpful. But, of the few employees I've met there so far, the jewel in their crown in my opinion is Ms. Dolly. I don't know what it is about this sweet, delightful woman but the few interactions I've had with her, I've come away feeling, well, rejuvenated. She has a wonderful spirit and just simply makes you feel good. She's amazing that way. Thank you one and all!@ read more

I have been going to rite aid for years now, I usually used the one on main street but the other rite aid was closer to where I lived, so i decided to give it a try. The staff there were always less than helpful and anytime i went in there to pick up a prescription its like they could not be bothered. Ultimately it got so bad that I switched pharmacies. I am fully aware how busy they are, but customer service in any form is something they need to work on. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. If you live in Tigard, i would recommend the one on main st. they are worth the drive. read more

This Rite Aid has one of the best pharmacies I've ever been to. I rarely encounter problems here, and when I do, the techs and pharmacist are quick to resolve the issue. They go above and beyond to contact my doctor and me when there are any issues with refills or insurance, and the auto-refill program works like a charm. Rite Aid's rewards program is one of the best out there, as some don't allow you to use your pharmacy purchases towards your rewards points - but Rite AId does. The store staff have always been helpful when I need to find particular items. Parking is ample and the store is never too busy. read more

This place is okay in my eyes. They have alot of merchandise and the cashier lady was really nice and polite to me, but if your looking for JCrew hair puddy then turn around and go down the street to Walgreens, this place doesnt have it. read more
