Brett has a perfect balance of professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm that instantly shows his passion for aviation and teaching. He explained everything clearly before we got in the plane, walking me through what to expect and answering all my questions with patience and detail. Once in the air, he gave me just the right amount of guidance--making sure I felt safe while also letting me truly take the controls and experience what flying is all about. His calm, encouraging style made the whole flight both exciting and comfortable. What really stood out was how much Brett wanted me to enjoy the experience. He pointed out landmarks, shared tips, and celebrated every little success along the way. By the time we landed, I not only had an unforgettable memory but also a much deeper appreciation for flying. If you're even thinking about trying a discovery flight, do yourself a favor and go with Brett--you won't find a better instructor to make your first flight as fun, safe, and inspiring as possible!

Mach5 helped me check off my highest bucket list item - to get my private pilots license on…read more4/29/23. Thanks to Mach 5 I was able to get high marks from my FAA examiner. The operation is top notch from the office/operations management, aircraft maintenance, flight logistics and coordination, and instruction. I transferred from another flight school and instantly saw the Mach 5 difference and high standard. I was fortunate to get paired with David Wells who did a perfect job of helping me reach my full potential. I just had fun flying at Mach 5, David, and will continue to fly with Mach5 in the future. KAUN (Auburn Airport) location provides good vibes, valuable flight experience as it is located in the base of the foothills with access to the Sacramento valley, and up front views/access to various aircraft. There is a cafe and two breweries near by. The mechanics are amazing and provide great exposure to maintenance and repair being an open shop right next to the office. This helped with my understanding of the aircraft and its systems. The planes are very well maintained and it is very clear where each plane sits with regards to maintenance and repair. It is clear Mach 5 has the highest standards for instruction. There are numerous layers and checks within the process. I was required to complete thorough flight reviews and marks after each flight which are recorded in my file and reviewed by chief instructors. At various points in the training I had to fly with a chief instructor for sign off to the next stage. This greatly increased my confidence moving forward by having multiple people give you a green light prior to the next step. The way Mach 5 operates, David Wells taught, and all that flying out of Auburn provided made me a very confident and safe pilot as I move forward in my training. Thank you to the team at Mach 5! Special shout out to Matt Behnam as well! Thanks Matt for all the help.

Since I am not local and had completed part of my training already, he helped review everything with me and took the time to make sure I had everything in-place correctly and coordinate all the details (gear, training, ecourse, etc.) to finish off my recreational open water cert. He really went out of his way to make sure I was prepared for the weekend, and I really appreciated it! His teaching instructions were clear and he was very patient to make sure we did all of our checks properly and safely. On the morning of the class after everyone signed in and safety equipment was handed out. We went down to the range to practice some holster and live fire drills. As someone whom has taken firearm training in the past I felt this to be a little redundant. However it did allow to gauge the firearm skills of the other students that you would be shooting against. Once all the firearms were converted to shoot simunitions. We went right to running through scenarios force on force, to shoot or not shoot. After each scenario the instructors worked through them discussing all the actions that occurred. After lunch we started in the Shoot House. Where we ran through several more intense scenarios. The class was fast passed and very little down time. At the end of the day I enjoyed the class and learned several things that can use every day. I am interested in taking more classes from Train To Survive Tactical maybe a carbine class next time.

My kids are constantly asking when their next school break is because the idea of them getting a week with their friends at KC is a total highlight for them. We are at a stage in our kids life where they could spend their summers doing different camps and trying new things, but every year it's the same answer: they'd rather be at Rocklin KC. The staff here makes it so enjoyable for these kids that being there is more fun than anywhere else. Even the food is great (trust me, I know. Mr Chris saves me leftovers). I 100% recommend this place to any family looking for a place filled with added family. Ms Denise is everything you'd want in a leader, Ms Kym taught my kids the love of science, Ms Justina taught my kids patience and respect, and Ms Lizzy is a shining light. Mr Chris will always be my number chef and Ms Sammy will always be my kids go-to for fun. I can go on and on about the wonderful teachers and staff at Rocklin KC - because honestly, everything about this place has been wonderful for my family.

When our oldest started there he had a bit of a hard time adjusting because he was coming from a nanny-share at home with one other younger child. The teachers were caring, patient and supportive, and after a few months he really blossomed and came out of his shell. They also helped us immensely with potty-training which was particularly challenging with our son (Thank you Susana!!). He has since made his way up through several different classrooms and will be starting TK in the fall. His current teacher Racquel is absolutely incredible. It's easy to see how passionate she is about child development and how much she genuinely loves and cares about each of her students. While we will miss her dearly, she is has done so much to prepare him for TK and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful! Since our youngest started a little earlier, we got to meet a new room of toddler teachers who impressed us so much from day one (Kenzi, Izabelle & Yer). Our daughter wasn't quite walking yet, but they had her up and running within weeks. She often had a hard time with goodbyes in the morning, but the teachers always helped me feel at ease and I knew she would be in great hands. I feel like we were truly spoiled. Beyond out kids' individual classroom experiences, I think the school as a whole is run very well. I've been impressed with the environment and culture in general-- it feels very positive, nurturing and inclusive. Highly recommend!!

He made lot of friends and his communication skills increased as the year progressed. He learned discipline , how to read confidently and communicate effectively. At no point in the school year we felt uncomfortable and did not feel that our son is not learning some thing new. Ms Michelle and Ms Kristian are wonderful, they both always go above and beyond and give valuable advice which is best for the kids in the long run. They have lot of experience in this field. Me and my husband are grateful to Ms Michelle and Ms Kristian for accepting him to Friends preschool . By the end of the year he was more than ready to start kindergarten. We many times thought it would have been better for our son if he started the preschool two years before the kindergarten but still it worked out very well and I recommend Friends preschool to any parents without any reservation. Good luck to Friends preschool family for a great year ahead!!
