We all know, purchases / transfers in California are difficult and wrought with bureaucracy & nonsense. This shop, makes it simple and easy for you to get it done. In addition, they have a very nice indoor range with a VERY wide multitude of rental firearms. Aside from the good customer service & cool indoor range, they had an incredibly wide variety of stock for sale. I noticed they had VERY fair prices, like some firearms were easily $100-125 less a piece than the FUDD gun shops here in (510) Alameda County. I would say the top highlight of this gun shop was the lack of FUDD. I experienced & saw / heard zero FUDD nonsense. Just straight up good, solid, friendly customer service & plenty of great products to choose from. It's also noteworthy that they had a really good inventory of ammo for reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be spending some more money here. Keep it up guys!!

The staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Very organized inside and there's plenty of parking. I had to take my FSC test recently to renew my certificate which cost $25 plus $1.50 laminate. Then went on to make a purchase. They have decent, reasonable prices on firearms and ammo. Shooting range is decent as well, typically no wait. They allow you to bring and use your own firearm. They offer rentals as well but not if you are by yourself, you'd have to bring your own firearm if you are solo. I'll be returning again.

He's very detailed and patient to explain the safety and use of every gun whichever you prefer to own. In a single session, he let me used 22 caliber then a 9 mm then a 45 caliber and even his assault rifle. It was a delightful experience and highly recommended to be trained by Mike.

I was excited to find out that there was a company in California that did firearm training with…read moresimunitions. I signed up immediately and was able to get in the next training session. On the morning of the class after everyone signed in and safety equipment was handed out. We went down to the range to practice some holster and live fire drills. As someone whom has taken firearm training in the past I felt this to be a little redundant. However it did allow to gauge the firearm skills of the other students that you would be shooting against. Once all the firearms were converted to shoot simunitions. We went right to running through scenarios force on force, to shoot or not shoot. After each scenario the instructors worked through them discussing all the actions that occurred. After lunch we started in the Shoot House. Where we ran through several more intense scenarios. The class was fast passed and very little down time. At the end of the day I enjoyed the class and learned several things that can use every day. I am interested in taking more classes from Train To Survive Tactical maybe a carbine class next time.

I live in Sac County and had to take the 16 hour course - Paul covered more material than was required and explained things in a way that I understood. He took the time to go over my questions until I had a complete understanding. I was very nervous about qualifying. I had one gun I was familiar with and had shot before and another that I just acquired and had never shot. Paul had a way about him that made me feel at ease out on the range. He was very positive and supportive. He made running through the drills fun - which really helped me relax and be ready to qualify. Thanks to Paul & Precision edge Firearms Training I passed the qualifications for both guns.

Paul is very friendly, did a great job, and provided a welcoming environment. He was very focused on safety, and reinforcing the five basic handgun rules. There were plenty of material to take home which included a Basic Pistol Handbook that makes a great quick reference for anything from safety, how to handle a pistol to cleaning and storing handguns and ammunition. Even though I was the only one to attend the class that day, Paul decided to go through with it anyway, rather than rescheduling it. I was please with that, because it gave me a one on one instruction and allowed him to spend more time with me at the range for the qualification portion of the class.
