Sam is very knowledgeable about all the CCW things, but if he doesn't know, he will find and answer. The range was clean and the targets were all synced up to the technology things, so I will be coming back for more practice. I have also done a transfer here. The process was smooth. I had to renew my firearm safety certificate while I was there. Stanley helped us with the transfer and it was easy to get through the paperwork. Next, the gunsmith. I have been having issues with one of my pistols, so I brought it in. We figured it just needed to be lubricated, but Donny did a full inspection to make sure there weren't any issues and it shoots great now. Lastly, I purchased the Sig Rose P365 while I was taking the course. I was able to shoot it during the training and picked it up after the 10 day period. They had a great selection, but it wasn't hard for me to make a decision. It was also $50 cheaper than the first time I looked at it. Overall, I love the gun range. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. This is my new go to indoor range.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I told them it was my first time at the range, and they took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and help me get set up. That made a huge difference because walking into a range as a newbie can feel a little intimidating. Once I got to my lane, I was only there for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My confidence definitely grew, and I left feeling way more comfortable than when I walked in. Overall, great first experience. Friendly staff, helpful guidance, and a welcoming environment for beginners. I'm looking forward to coming back for more practice -- and this time, I promise I won't wait another two years.

I was excited to find out that there was a company in California that did firearm training with…read moresimunitions. I signed up immediately and was able to get in the next training session. On the morning of the class after everyone signed in and safety equipment was handed out. We went down to the range to practice some holster and live fire drills. As someone whom has taken firearm training in the past I felt this to be a little redundant. However it did allow to gauge the firearm skills of the other students that you would be shooting against. Once all the firearms were converted to shoot simunitions. We went right to running through scenarios force on force, to shoot or not shoot. After each scenario the instructors worked through them discussing all the actions that occurred. After lunch we started in the Shoot House. Where we ran through several more intense scenarios. The class was fast passed and very little down time. At the end of the day I enjoyed the class and learned several things that can use every day. I am interested in taking more classes from Train To Survive Tactical maybe a carbine class next time.

Morgan was on time and very friendly, and got everything set up. The material covered and instruction given was very casual but thorough. Unlike many renewal classes with other companies, Morgan didn't have a cocky tough guy know it all attitude which made the class enjoyable. The amount of information and material he covered was great, and it took the entire class time. A bonus to meeting at Round Table was the lunch, which he paid for as part of the class so that was unexpected and nice. We met a separate day at the range to qualify with each handgun and he booked it so our time was 1-on-1 which I really appreciated. Again, he was extremely knowledgeable and safe, but still didn't give off that cocky know it all taught guy vibe. The instruction he gave, tips and guidance to improve grip, stance and other areas was extremely helpful. I have already recommended his class to multiple friends and I will definitely book with him again at my next renewal.

I live in Sac County and had to take the 16 hour course - Paul covered more material than was required and explained things in a way that I understood. He took the time to go over my questions until I had a complete understanding. I was very nervous about qualifying. I had one gun I was familiar with and had shot before and another that I just acquired and had never shot. Paul had a way about him that made me feel at ease out on the range. He was very positive and supportive. He made running through the drills fun - which really helped me relax and be ready to qualify. The shotgun was in good order but the handgun had been taken down and was missing its guide-rod and one of the two magazines. Those were easily replaced by me. My issue with Ralph is now closed but I cannot recommend him. Ralph didn't do his job but instead initiated an unfortunate series of events that cost me time, money, and energy.
