I say simple because they all have the ability to break down any kind of math equation. I spent half of my general Ed (K-12) in Special Ed. I have never been great with math. I am now able to learn extremely complex math. I have to respectfully disagree with the other woman's review. To be clear the field of Drug and Alcohol Counseling is one of the lowest earning careers. You don't make anything above $35,000.00 a year. Most jobs are very low pay regardless of the field. Making $12.00/hr is the norm. It's pretty bad and unfortunate, that a severe lack of income is hugely ignored in society. The staff at the Rancho Cordova campus are very helpful and honest. They are always there to help you. If you're not ready to start working in your chosen field, they help you find a job anyways. Until you feel ready to learn your trade in the field, they patiently wait. When you give them the green light they help you with a smile. The campus president O.C. is a wonderful lady and a great listener. She makes all of the students feel welcome and takes the time to know all of us.

The practice exams questions were very similar to the actual trade, I felt the exam questions for law were not as similar as the practice tests but I had enough confidence and knowledge from the videos provided that I was able to answer the questions. I would highly recommend this company. Submitting my application to CSLB was easy, they reviewed my application for errors and sent them back to me for corrections before submitting. For an additional fee, which was very reasonable (I shopped around), they submitted all the paperwork to register my s-corporation. All the videos and practice guides made me feel like my test was easy. As long as you study, you will pass.

After a break for a semester, I decided to look into programs I might have interest in and I discovered NCE Optician Technician! It's been going on for sometime but it was new to me! I got a call from Keenan and I thought I was getting into something shady... but I had nothing to lose. I decide to show up to the meeting and Keenan showed enthusiasm and he knew his position really well. I won't lie he got me into this program with a little nudge and I'm glad I got in! My first day in the Optician class seemed very intimidating but also refreshing. Everyone seemed eager to learn. Mr. C was an amazing teacher, gets straight to the point, teaches you what you need to know and if you have any questions that he might not know, he will find the answer pretty quickly. Mr. C has a very fun personality and honestly, I will miss this program. The counseling was great, the financial staffs gets straight to the point on your financials, and they help you with your externship! I'm starting my externship on Tuesday and I'm super excited! I hope whoever is reading this, whoever has bad eyesight and want to learn more about eyes, consider Optician Technician! A lot of the time, it felt like we were just watching YouTube videos or listening to teachers teach from old books and lesson plans instead of getting the education and hands-on experience I expected. I also experienced what felt like favoritism, and there were issues with the way some staff treated students and handled complaints. What was especially disappointing was the feeling that staff would discuss students negatively after the student had walked away or after a phone call had ended. That kind of behavior makes it very difficult to feel respected or comfortable bringing concerns to them. Another major concern was student privacy. I personally saw and received information belonging to other students that should not have been shared. Thankfully, I'm an honest person and did not misuse any of it, but it was still very concerning. Overall, this was a messy and frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend doing your research before spending your time and money here. Your experience may be different depending on the teacher you get, but I personally would not recommend this school.

It's clear that they prioritize upkeep, which I really appreciate. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. That said, this is very much a swimmer's pool--designed for lap swimming and training rather than recreational use or family playtime. While they do have some equipment available for use, most swimmers bring their own gear. One of my favorite aspects is how uncrowded it is when I go early in the morning. I usually get a lane to myself, which is such a luxury compared to other pools. The membership fees are very reasonable for what you get--especially considering the quality of the facilities and the experience.
