Nice place to hang out and chill. Have a beer watch a game during week and play some pool. Now has bar food too. On weekends the bands get hopping and the place gets going late night.

It was creamy, vibrant and chilly. Red's appears to specialize in blended ice cocktails. I also tried the Grasshopper which walks perfectly minty, creamy and sweet. For food I tried the flank steak sliders and the coleslaw. The coleslaw was notable with a touch of paprika on top that was different and a good contrast to the sweet drinks. The sliders could be better. They came out piping hot on a series of Hawaiian rolls. The steam from the meat dissolves the buns a bit so it was more of a knife and fork situation. The dried crispy onions were a nice touch. Excellent service from both bartenders and friendly conversation with the locals who frequent the bar. Overall, I'd highly recommend, especially fo the historical aspect. The building was constructed in the 1800s and originally served as a Wells Fargo weighing station before being converted to a bar.

Unfortunately, something has changed in the kitchen and noticebly different after our last 3 visits. Burgers appear to be frozen and possibly grilled over wood as advertised and DEFINATELY over- seasoned and salted. Still lack natural flavor, smoke and overcooked regardless of preferance . Also ribs are dry and reheated. I would not reccomend either entry! Something positive, service and golden cadilacs are good. Please get your kitchen in order and be great again

Cover band stage…read more I've enjoyed watching local cover bands perform live on the Stage Bar. The setting has been renovated from what I remember from before. Now the setting has a short wall around the stage area and just outside of it is a huge bar with lots of seating. The raised stage has been the scene of performances from different genres whether you're in the mood for soul, classic rock, top 40, country, Latin, R&B, Motown, and the 80's! Bands usually perform Friday and Saturday nights from 9:30p - 1:30a and Sundays from 1:00-4:00p and most of the time country bands performing on Sundays. The Stage Bar is located inside Red Hawk Casino. It is right next to the elevators heading to the Waterfall Buffet and other restaurants downstairs. It has a dance floor and high and low table seating all around. Every once in a while a server will come around passing out free small water bottles to patrons. I like it that the Casino provided seating rather than just having to stand there to watch the performances especially when the bands go on their intermission breaks between sets. At least we don't have to wander away we can just hang out. People tend to leave after the second music set if there are no seats (like other casinos... I won't mention the name but the casino is in Lincoln). LoL Red Hawk is about a 45-min drive from my home so I pick my shows when I come here. I've seen some great local talent on stage including the Spazmatics [the Ultimate 80's New Wave show], Big Bad Boogie Rock [70's and 80's], Apple Z [Pop and Top 40], and Cover Me Badd [Today's Dance hits]. So when visiting Red Hawk Casino on a weekend check out some of the region's hottest bands live at the Stage Bar! Free live entertainment Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Review #0739

I understand he was upset probably because we took a table away from his potential tips, but to treat us the way he did is inexcusable. I asked if him if the food hadn't been made if we could cancel our order. He left and appeared to speak to the kitchen staff. He came back and cleared the table next to us and did not communicate anything to us. I asked, is that a yes or no? Without looking at us he said hold on. He finished clearing the table and walked away. He came back 10 minutes later and without saying a word he placed the bill on our table and left. Luckily we had the cash to cover it and a tip. As we walked away he rushed over, likely to make sure we weren't skipping out since he had been so rude. Will we go back? Uh no. This could have been handled much differently leaving us wanting to try them again.

We came across three female lobsters with eggs, and although some people consider it lucky, it honestly didn't sit well with me. From what I understand, egg-bearing lobsters are typically supposed to be released, so it made me worry about long-term sustainability and potential shortages. Other than that, the experience itself was enjoyable. We requested a table with a view and got to watch the sunset while eating, which made the dinner feel extra nice. The prime rib was definitely my favorite. The crab was juicy and fresh, sushi was just okay, but the poke was surprisingly flavorful. I skipped dessert, but my boyfriend said that ended up being his favorite part of the night. I'd still come back again, but I really hope they become more mindful about the lobster situation.

We actually had a few family members back out because we were under the impression it was mostly seafood, but it turned out to be a full standard buffet with plenty of variety: pastas, salads, pizza, soups, prime rib, and more. Definitely something for everyone. Pricing was $60 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under, which honestly felt fair because there's no way two tween girls were about to put away $60 worth of food each. I don't recall hearing about a senior discount, and if they do offer one, I wish it had been mentioned since we had two grandmas in their 80s with us, plus adults in their 50s and 60s. Me, freshly turned 29 however? I'll bravely shoulder the $60 burden. No problem at all. One thing that did work out nicely: parties of 8 or more automatically get an 18% gratuity added. Since you pay upfront when you walk in, it completely eliminated the usual family debate over who's contributing or covering the tip, which was perfect since I was treating. The restaurant itself is tucked pretty deep inside the casino, which is mildly inconvenient. It honestly reminded me of the old Fry's Electronics checkout maze where they'd route you past endless gadgets, gizmos, and candy before letting you escape. Except here, it's slot machines and gaming tables. After getting off the elevator, you walk a ways and then catch another escalator or elevator down another level or two. Maybe it only felt far because we were new to the layout, but give yourself a few extra minutes if you've never been. We were told reservations were required, though technically they aren't. There was a standby line for walk-ins, but it was easily 50 people deep while reservation holders were being seated quickly and given clear priority, as they should be. So while not mandatory, reservations are very strongly recommended. As for the food itself, the crab and lobster were salty but overall pretty good. There was one lobster that tasted a little "off" or muddy, but with buffet-style dining, it was easy enough to grab another. Fair warning though: lobster and crab are messy and take work. This is not a low-maintenance dining experience for the weak, lazy, or easily frustrated (LOL). The prime rib was solid, though not especially memorable. The mac and cheese was unfortunately bland, and the desserts were probably the weakest part of the buffet. The bread pudding was the standout dessert, and my sister swore the soft serve was surprisingly good. Overall, everyone genuinely seemed to enjoy themselves, and it felt like a worthwhile outing with family. We left full, happy, and glad we went. While I'm not completely sure it'll become a regular destination for us, I'd still say it was a fun experience and definitely worth trying at least once.

I had a burrito that was stunningly delicious. i went all Danny Devito/Get Shorty and ordered some shit that is not even on the menu!. See, what had happen is dat they took the green goddess burrito and they put the breaded zucchini fries inside the burrito! This had had the effect of making Damn near the best veggie wrap I have ever had had!!!!!!!!! in addition, the bartender trotted out this habanero hot sauce that is in the photo. She was so friendly and accommodating, I decided to had two gin martinis while I was there! I myself was delighted just watching her to do her magic behind the bar. So friendly and that was just what I needed after spending all day working with artificial intelligence. But this was no artificial intelligent! she had helped me brainstorm what could be made vegan on the menu. Zucchini sticks in da wrap naturally!! Did i mention dat? Oh yeah, for you EV driving greenhouse huggers out there you are in luck: There are 3 level 3 chargers at Bank of America just walking distance. I recommend if you have an electric vehicle that you park there, plug into the electrify America juice, and come over here for a drink at the very least You now has the information you need Now git it!!
