Best Soufflé Pancakes ever!…read more Now that I've actually been to Japan I can honestly say I crave these pancakes more than the ones I had overseas! These pancakes are more fluffier and eggier (I think that's a legit word, LOL), and super rich! If you don't like eggs, don't visit because there is a lot of eggy flavor. I've tried the two dominant flavors, Matcha and Strawberry, and I can't tell which one I like better. The light cream topping is better than any butter or maple syrup I've ever had. There is usually one more flavor that they change from time to time as well which I've heard is great. Going on the weekday avoids the wait. The abnormal hours of operation don't make it easy to visit but if you do you'll definitely enjoy. Book the table on Yelp!

Prices are ok and service was excellent. If you come to PJs get the pancakes.

Absolutely love the country vibes here. Here is what we ordered: 1. Lemon Chicken Rice Soup. Wish there was more than a teaspoon of rice but it was absolutely delicious. That squeeze of lemon made all the difference. 2. The Chubby's Breakfast with a side of sausage patty was a simple dish and made perfectly. 3. Croissant Chocolate Bread Pudding with seasonal fruits was decadent, not too sweet and was to die for. Pretty much a breakfast dessert. Lol. Our drinks were a 10/10. The ceremonial grade matcha was legit. Service was friendly but a bit slow. We had to flag down a few of the staff members a couple of times. Please support The Chubby's Project, there is a pantry outside of donated canned goods for those in need. From the lighting fixtures to the decor Flourish is both stylish and comfortable. The food is just as well thought out. Inspired by Eastern European flavors Flourish takes basic breakfast to an elevated experience. A bit pricy for daily breakfast but the flavors were a treat to experience. No pork products but the turkey sausage was just as satisfying and 4 long links in a side serving. I chose the garden skillet and swapped the over easy eggs for scrambled. He went for the Shakshuka. Both were not just served but presented beautifully on wooden boards. We had to try the Syrniki and were delighted. You aren't going to find over the top portions here, but the meals are satisfying and prepared with fresh quality ingredients. The berries on the Syrniki were huge, juicy and tasty. Flourish is not your daily breakfast spot but definitely one we recommend and will revisit on occasion.

There were a couple tables open, and several customers walking in for to-go orders back to back. All the bagel sandwiches coming out from the kitchen looked amazing. I ordered an Asiago bagel with vegetable cream cheese. I asked for it toasted and it was lightly toasted and loaded with cream cheese. I haven't eaten a bagel like this in a while. The cashier was friendly and repeated our order back to us. It took about 15 mins for 3 bagel sandwiches and 1 toasted bagel to be ready. They have a wide selection of bottled drinks at the front and it appears you can get cold cuts from the deli area as well.

Some Sundays just hit different…read more Church was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Rev. Nicole Drakeford preached a WORD that reached all the way into my soul. The scripture was Luke 17:11-19, and the message was simple but powerful... I have to get back to saying THANK YOU! Sometimes we're so busy asking God for the next blessing that we forget to pause and thank Him for the ones He's already given us. Now y'all know after feeding the spirit...it was time to feed the stomach! Off to Brownstone the Original Pancake Factory in Freehold we went, and BABY...they did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, our server J gave us customer service that was a 10/10! If you go, ask for J...tell 'em Stacy sent you! To make the day even sweeter, they helped us celebrate our church's 106th Anniversary! Such a thoughtful surprise that truly made us smile. And can we PLEASE talk about my Aunties?! Apparently, when it's your first visit, you have to ride the carousel...and let me tell you...my Golden Girls understood the assignment! Watching them laugh and enjoy every second was worth the trip all by itself. The food? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The portions are huge, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every bite was worth it. If you haven't been...GO! And if you have...tell the people the truth... NO LIES DETECTED! Thank You, Lord, for another Sunday filled with worship, family, laughter, great food, and beautiful memories. My cup & heart is FULL.

I really wanted to understand the hype, but unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I'm honestly…read morenot sure why there are consistently such long lines to get in because, based on our experience, the food was definitely underwhelming. First, the menu is HUGE. It actually reminded me of Cheesecake Factory, you open it and there are so many options that you're not really sure what the restaurant specializes in. Yes, everything is centered around pancakes, but even within each section there are so many choices that it becomes overwhelming. Sometimes, less is more!We decided to take some of the server's recommendations and went with the Fried Oreo Cheesecake Pancakes. Unfortunately, these were just way too sweet for us and didn't live up to the hype. There was so much going on that the flavors didn't really come together for me.My daughter ordered the strawberry shake, which was absolutely massive! I will give them that, the portion was impressive. But again, it was extremely sweet, even for a milkshake.I ordered the Steak Frites and asked for my steak medium. Unfortunately, it came out much closer to medium rare, so it wasn't cooked to my requested temperature. Overall, there were some fun and over-the-top menu options, but unfortunately the food just didn't impress us enough to justify the wait or the hype. Would I go back? Probably not. There are just too many other places I'd rather spend my time and calories.

Ambience was bright and nice with additional outdoor seating . Service was slow and not very hygienic. When we shared feedback about the missing veggies in the veggie sandwich , the hostess was understanding and apologized. Offered a complimentary dessert which we refused as I did not find the baked good appetizing ( given the flies that we noticed ) There is street parking and few spots at the back of the building Overall not a place I would return.
