Beware, the beignets powdered sugar is messy! But, boy, are they tasty. Cooked to order. There's a little sign letting you know how long to expect for an order of the fluffy donuts to come out. The counter is in the mall, right next to the carousel. Service was friendly, although overwhelmed. There was only one guy and a lot of people decided to come at the same time. He handled it like a champ, was polite and didn't lose his cool. Kudos to him. I ordered a small iced latte, since I feared the seasonal special would be overly sweet. The beignets were piping hot; once they were cool enough, it was like biting into a fluffy pillow with a crispy shell. Though the main area is a counter, they set up space for a couple of tables and sitting area. That was a nice touch. I'll be back for more beignets!

This is located inside the mall near the carousel. I ordered a latte and it was made perfectly. I didn't try any of the pastries or muffins but there is a display off to the counter to the right.

Coffee was delicious. They made the beignets while I waited. Big, soft pillows of dough. I will definitely go back there.

No one at counter so gave up and left. Business won't last long with customer service like that.

"Tell me what you miss most," Ava Fremont, a witness to a murder, signs and expresses to Detective…read moreFrank Shaw, who recently lost his hearing, in Director Brad Anderson's 2024 film, The Silent Hour. "My daughter, S A M," Shaw signs back, "playing guitar," as he makes hand motions. "Being able to hear that." "You don't need to. Every spring, I go to the Boston Pops." "Why?" Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

HIDDEN GEM!!!! I…read morestumbled across this place while visiting Columbia, MD. I was craving a good cheesesteak, so I did what any responsible foodie would do--I consulted Google. This place kept popping up, so I figured the internet couldn't be wrong... at least not this time. The restaurant is tucked away in what feels like a residential area, making it a true hidden gem. The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving. Because of the crowd, ordering took a little while. The dining area was also in need of some attention--we ended up cleaning our own table before sitting down. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but as soon as I took the first bite, all was forgiven. We ordered two cheesesteaks and a personal pepperoni pizza. The cheesesteaks were absolutely loaded with perfectly grilled meat, topped with grilled onions and peppers, all served on a warm, soft hoagie roll. Every bite was packed with flavor and required at least a few extra napkins. The personal pepperoni pizza was also excellent. I'd describe it as a traditional thin-crust pizza with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. No ingredient was trying to steal the spotlight--it was a well-rehearsed pizza ensemble. As I said from the beginning, this place is a hidden gem. The food alone is worth the trip. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the challenging parking situation and the dining area's cleanliness and service. Fix those two issues, and this place might just become my new definition of a cheesesteak pilgrimage destination

The food is consistently exceptional, the drinks are always on point, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and welcoming. Whenever friends or family visit from out of town, this is my go-to spot because I know they'll leave impressed. Most recently, I visited for brunch on Saturday and ordered the short rib gnocchi. It was absolutely delicious... rich, flavorful, and incredibly filling. I paired it with the bubbles flight, which featured an assortment of four sparkling wines and was the perfect complement to the meal. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Great food, great drinks, and consistently great experiences. Love this place. Five stars for consistency and great food!

The truffle popcorn was excellent, our child enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the fresh tuna appetizer was flavorful, although overly sauced. Unfortunately, the scallops with risotto were unacceptable. Both entrees had a strong ammonia-like taste from the first bite, which was immediately noticeable to both of us. We were unable to get much attention from our server due to how busy the restaurant was, but the dishes were left mostly untouched for a reason. For a $40 entrée, we expected much better quality and execution. Sadly, The Food Market did not deliver.

Little pricey but it deserve and the portions are hugeee anyway so I made my lunch today with the left overs! If its weekend you can wait little long, but it deserve again:) İ really like the pea soup with hot dog. My Greek omlette was tasty. The sandwich is good, bread and everything the way they make. The best thing is the The deli meats they put inside, pastrami, turkey breast, tongue... Aaand I also tried something sweet from the bakery part! It was good too. I like it, I will finish it with my coffee, after my lunch.Maybe they have to add a few thing which made my dairy products... A bit light things:) I only didn't like the coffee. It was bitter and like old taste... Ambience was good.especially when they made the temperature I like the place. It wasn't cold at all. Normally in America they put the AC on. Never check the people if they are cold or not! The temperature was ideal... I think I have to visit the place more often

I loved every bite. I just wish I would have known to get it toasted. The regular white bread isn't doing it for me but that's minor. Tuna 8/10 The tuna was prepared really well, the crunch from the bread and the softness from the tuna was a great combo. The only thing I would change is some more seasoning on the tuna would push it over the time for me.

Breakfast should be simple and easy…read more The execution of this place pulls it off. You walk in. It's bustling with people but not overly loud. You order, put the number on the table, eat, and go. The food comes out surprisingly fast. The ingredients just taste fresh and clean. Not overly salted. It's simple food, but done right. I was surprised how much I liked the place. It's not a place you would travel to go eat. It's a place that if you're in the area and need breakfast and brunch, you can't go wrong. I recommend checking this place out.

A popular place for sure! Came in on a Friday around noon and there was not a seat to be found in…read morethe whole restaurant. I waited in line with Child #1 and Child #2 to make our order and fortunately, a staffer saw us looking for a table and waved us over to an area that they were cleaning as another party of three stood up. It's worth noting that while there are a few small 2-top and 4-top tables, most of the space is jam-packed where your table will butt right up against a different party. It adds a bit to the convivial experience, but it does also mean a larger group may have to split up. Got some brunch, and Child #2 got a kids' meal of pancakes with bacon. Seemed pretty standard. I love a good plate of chicken and waffles so I sprang for that. The chicken was decently seasoned but the waffles were underwhelming. Child #1 got The berry cheesecake french toast and loved it. I tasted a bite and it was not bad. There is an area with condiments that customers can just grab (there is no table-side service, so this makes sense), including a place to grab your own water. Child #1 ordered an orange juice, which we both tasted and it was definitely fermented (unpleasant). When I brought it up to the staff behind the counter, it was "oh, that's too bad" with no offer to remedy it. We bought a bottled one from their fridge, which was better. I got a mango peach lemonade, which was sweet but otherwise very nice. Child #2's meal came with a juice box. We were meeting up with my wife just a few minutes later, so I ordered her an iced coffee and a cubano sandwich. To the barista's credit, they said "hey, just wave me down when you're about finished eating and I'll make it fresh for you to go." Nice. The cubano was okay - it came on what seemed like white bread, rather than a sturdier ciabatta or sub roll that can be pressed (like a cubano normally is) so my wife found it to be okay at best. Overall, the experience didn't blow me away, but there were some decent items and clearly folks in the know come here often so maybe we just had a down day. If I come back, I think I'll try any of the Korean fusion dishes (it is in Ellicott City, after all).
