Hawaiian w/jalapenos
Aricka M.

Super chill pizza spot right literally steps away from the water in imperial beach. The location alone is a win , you can literally grab a slice and walk straight to the sand. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating, but on a hot day I'd definitely recommend sitting outside because it gets pretty warm inside. Atleast outside on the deck you can get a breeze. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. We tried a mix of pizzas. Kids got classic pepperoni & cheese (NY thin style) I got the mushroom pesto (good, flavorful and light) Hubby got a Hawaiian with jalapeños (deep dish style) Loved that they offer different styles depending on what you're craving. Overall, it's a laid back, spot with good pizza and a great beachside vibe. Would definitely come back. And the ranch is really good.

Pizza and wings amazing. Always come here for these specific items. Crime scene pizza is so good, wings even better. Wing sauce is sweet Smokey and tangy. I recommend the food here to all my friends and family. Always greeted with friendly staff. Thank you to the woman in the front for being so nice. Family friendly restaurant.

The last pizza stop I made was Village Pizzeria on Coronado. I definitely like the crust here more. It was nicely crispy after going back into the oven. I got a slice of the buffalo chicken looking one and a slice of the ricotta, marinara, and meatball concoction they call "crime scene." The lady at the counter said that's their best seller and a customer favorite, and I can taste why. Something about the way the marinara is portioned makes it super appetizing. Like, I'll take two bites of mostly ricotta cheese, and it'll almost start to feel cloying. But then I get to the next section of marinara, and it's like my taste buds are refreshed. In contrast, the chicken one was not great. I thought it was drier than it looked, and the chicken was too lean, bland, and overcooked for my preference. But the crust was still good. I may come back, but not for any of the chicken ones.

Thanks to the wonderful lady staff holding it down in the front row trenches. They always accept my first responder discount!_! I just hope that that grumpy and bearded guy didn't spit or do anything to my son's Capone pizza. I'm so pleased with the staff service. But I'm also scared of that bearded guy retaliating against certain customers such as my self! My 11 year old son doesn't deserve that kind of treatment from someone like him!

Grab a slice or two of these tasty pizzas. Had a Buffalo and meatball Ricotta slice and soda for 9 bucks. Nice little special. The garlic knots are just icing on the top. Staff are friendly and provide a chill and welcoming atmosphere. If only I could eat a whole pizza because it's that good.

The pizza was good but for some reason I prefer the golden hills location. Maybe it's just nostalgia. My favorite slice is by far the spinach ricotta.

Golden crust, loaded meats, and that signature Luigi swagger--Capone's got the box on lockdown.

The Capone is a straight 5‑star hitter--big flavor, perfect meat combo, and that classic Luigi's swagger in every bite.

My go to pizza by the slice spot in IB. Service is always quick, plenty of seating, reasonable prices, and most importantly great thin pizza! You are guaranteed a fresh slice every time since they have plenty of foot traffic.

You walk in and you just know it's gonna knock your socks off. Everything is exactly as advertised and delicious.

Always a huge fan of Luigi's. I've been coming here for a very long time and it doesn't matter if it's dinner or a late night snack the slices are always great! This place also has vegan cheese options that you can put on any pizza, great opportunity for my mom who can't have dairy. The Mona Lisa is not skimpy on the toppings. The new deep dish was bomb! The service is always fast and restaurant is pretty clean

Bbq Chicken, Spinach & Ricotta, Margherita, Mushroom Pizza

Some of the best pizza in San Diego! I love that they have a variety of pizzas available by the slice. I got 4 large slices for around $15. What a deal! There were at least 12 pizzas to choose from. I got: - Spinach & Ricotta (5/5) - Margherita (tomato & basil) (5/5) - Bbq Chicken (5/5) - Mushroom pizza (5/5) These thin sliced pizzas all pack a flavor punch with some quality soft yet crispy crust. Makes for a nice meal and some chill time on the beach.

Some pizza pies... ready to eat.

What we ordered: * BBQ Tri-Tip Quesadilla * Fatty Melt * Ibac Burger * Fries Our waitress Sonia was amazing. Super attentive. Food came out quickly, perfect temp & seasoned just right. I was pleasantly surprised with the quesadilla. Full of flavor & you could really taste the smokiness with the tri-tip. YUMMY!! We cant wait to visit again. They even have music BINGO on Wednesdays.... Sounds like a lot of fun!!

I genuinely don't understand how Scotty B's has 4.4 stars on Yelp. The service was great. Our…read morewaitress was friendly, attentive, and clearly excited about the food. She made us feel like we were in for a treat. Everything is fresh, nothing is microwaved, and by her account this was going to be a whole experience. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the sales pitch. Not even close. We started with the IB Twinkies, which are basically bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers stuffed with cream cheese. They were mid to mediocre at best. Think about the ingredients: Fresh jalapeño, bacon, cream cheese. That's already a winning combination. But there was some kind of ham or other meat stuffed inside that just got in the way. A good jalapeño popper doesn't need much. Give me the fresh crunchy heat of the jalapeño, salty crispy bacon, and cream cheese to mellow everything out. If you're going to make a jalapeño popper, just make a really good jalapeño popper. Next was the Scotty Doesn't Know smash burger. For around $15ish, this thing was SMALL. My friend and I split it and we're talking maybe three or four bites each. The spicy ranch was basically ranch and Tapatío, and the whole burger was just kind of... fine. Smash burgers work because of their simplicity. Crispy beef, cheese, bread, sauce, balance. Once you start complicating that, whatever you're adding better make the burger more interesting. This didn't. I wouldn't pay that price for it again. Sadly, the BBQ Chopped Cheese was the real offender. I don't know what this was, but it wasn't what I think of when someone says "chopped cheese." Instead of chopped hamburger and cheese, the meat had this weird thready pulled-pork or pulled-beef texture. There were large chunks of green bell pepper, an off-putting barbecue flavor, and then the entire thing was slathered in this cheese roux where I swear I could taste the flour. It was basically a pile of pulled meat, peppers and onions covered in floury cheese sauce. I couldn't get past one bite. Our waitress didn't ask us what our thoughts were. Mercifully. And that's ultimately my problem with the food here. If you're going to make classic dishes, make them outstanding. If you're going to play with expectations and reinvent something like a chopped cheese, make sure you've mastered what makes the original good before you start introducing new flavors and textures. The location is cool. It has that beachy, surf-bar vibe, you can see the ocean, and the service was stellar. I take nothing away from the atmosphere and our server. That's honestly what pulled this review up to three stars. But the food? Mediocre to gross and all things in between. And considering the four-and-a-half-star rating and the expectations we walked in with, genuinely disappointing. I don't blame the wait staff, and I don't blame the cooks in the back. I blame management or the owner. If THEY think those dishes are delicious, that's fine. I can't change someone's messed-up taste buds. But I CAN say, as someone who has eaten some of the BEST food San Diego has to offer, it's very easy to recognize what isn't. Fix the food and I'm SO down to give y'all another chance. https://www.youtube.com/@TheFoodSleuths_SD

Me and my friend had a hangover…read morefrom the night before so we decided to look for a brunch or breakfast spot along the Imperial Beach. It was a little cloudy that day but we finally found the place. They had a huge brunch menu. I didn't really have an appetite so I ordered the green pozole with tortilla chips and a side of biscuit and gravy. $10 was a reasonable price for the portion and the soup was very good. Helped out with the hangover! My other friends ordered other breakfast plates and it seems they give a lot for the bucks. Very cozy grill, we were situated near the entrance and we had the view of the beach and the streets. Very clean location! Server was extremely friendly and talented too. She was on roller skates while serving us, now that's dedication! I would recommend this spot!

Product itself: I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs, the potato chicken soup, upgraded the…read morefries to their garlic Parmesan fries and an avocado bacon burger. To drink, water and a 22oz Pacifico. The burger was good, tasted like it came from the grill and the bacon came extra crispy without even having to ask (I love crispy bacon!). The ribs were underwhelming :( I know it's a sports bar so food is expected to be fast (which it was) but they just lacked any flavor and had very minimal bbq sauce (I asked for extra). Customer service: I was served by Maria P and she was AMAZING! It seemed like she had a full section and was running around every which way and still have the best energy when she was serving us. She is the reason we ordered the soup and she did not fail us! It was very good. She seemed very hard working. Value: The bill total was $55 so overall I would give the value for what we ordered an 8/10. It was a big volume of food which I can appreciate, but the ribs were just underwhelming when it came to flavor. Atmosphere: I can say for atmosphere I give them a 10/10 because it gives entirely sports bar vibes, but clean. You don't feel dirty small town sports bar vibes like some of their competitors in the city and the vibe is very uplifting. Overall experience: I have been going to the IB forum ever since I was a little girl and I have ordered the fish and chips before (usually my go to), the wraps, and salads. Everything has always been decent that's why I'd I could go more detailed than 3 stars I would say 6.7.

So light on the crisp which allowed us to taste the tenderness of the meat - fish was fried nicely as well but we'd choose another type of fish to try next time as this one was too thin and not as tender as we'd like - overall great spot with a kind owner, we'll definitely be back to try more :)

Service was friendly, and seemed cleaned to me! no complaints there. There are a lot of items on the menu, that I wanted to try but we decided to order the Fish Combo dinner and a lunch special (?). For our fish combo, we went for the Fried catfish (I never had cornmeal fried catfish, btw!) with 3 pieces of fried chicken (3 pieces of wings with drums) and our lunch combo we went with the jumbo shrimp. I believe the dinner combo comes with white bread and a side of either mac salad/potato salad/cole slaw. So i went with potato salad. For the lunch combo it includes the fries and a drink. I didn't know you can request a specific level of crispness/fry ! I woulda definitely asked for a more crispy fry. Everything was perfectly fried, I honestly enjoyed their fries a lot. Loved the flavor of the lemony pepper of what they sprinkled on top. Really takes it up a notch. There are no tables to sit and eat, which sucked for me since I was far from home, so I just ate in my car. But I mean, they're in a liquor store so ‍ shrimp was definitely jumbo, I think if I were to go back I would re-order this. The price is fair... Portions not bad. During the time I was there, seemed like a lot of regulars came by so that is a good sign
