Ordered pizza Sunday evening and it took two hours to have it delivered. Ok, I understand that they are busy and understaffed. Thought we'd try it again a few nights later and get subs. Tried calling, message on voicemail said they are closed, even though it said they were open when I checked online. After a long 10 hour drive from Connecticut to one of our favorite vacation destinations on the east coast, we decided to order some delicious pizza. However, delicious pizza is far from what we received from Pizzazz Pizza. After ordering a 3-Cheese White Pizza with Chicken, we had to wait 45 minutes for it to be made. After all of that time, we finally picked up the pizza only to find a hair cooked into cheese. If I could relive this experience without the hair cooked into the pizza, and a more reasonable wait time, I would consider giving this restaurant 2 stars. The store closes at 10 so we understood if they would be a little annoyed with us, but the service was great & the workers were kind to us! However, the taste of the pizza was similar to that of a Chuck E. Cheese pizza or a 7-11 Pizza. We just got a medium cheese pizza for $14 but it tasted more like a $5 pizza. I am hear on vacation with me and my family and we decided to go out for pizza. When we arrived we ordered half Hawaiian and half cheeseburger pizza. We had to wait around 15-20 mins on the pizza with little to no line. I'm guessing it's because of our non default pizza order. Pizza was tasty and not overly greasy. The fountain drinks were limited, and the sprite and lemonade tasted funky. If I were you I would possibly bring your on drink or any of the soft drink choices. Horrible management and staff in Corolla shop. The Manager and staff on duty on the evening of 6/13 should be fired. We ordered pizza for delivery and they charged our card promising a one hour delivery and no pizza after two hours. Management refused to address the issue and charged our credit card regardless with no food delivered resulting in disputes for refunds and fraud alerts with the authorities - Buyer Beware!!! My first visit to Pizzazz Pizza went very well. We were driving back from the beach and I was starving, and this was the first place we saw. It is very clean inside and has comfy booths to sit in. We didn't have to wait in line and were served in about 10 minutes. We got a half pepperoni half spinach pizza, and I really enjoyed my half (spinach). The crust is AMAZING! It wasn't scorching hot so we could eat it in about 2 minutes, which is usually a problem--there is nothing I hate more than waiting forever for my pizza to cool so I don't burn my mouth off! I would definitely return. The staff was very hospitable and even a fellow customer checked to see if we were enjoying our experience. Pizzazz may not be what some are looking for, but when you're dying for something to eat while here in the Outer Banks, I would point you in their direction. read more

I had the great misfortune of ordering 5 pizzas from Pizzaz for delivery. The pizza has little to no sauce. I also had the even greater misfortune of eating sandwiches at Pizzas with my wife and a group of friends the following day. I actually watched them make the sandwiches as follows: The chicken philly cheese was taken from the freezer box and put into a microwave to be cooked. It was then placed into the pizza oven to give it that faux cooked taste. The chicken parmagiana was cooked in a similar manner but there was more sauce on it then their pizzas and there were only 5 slivers of chicken. The topper was watching them cook the curly fries; a bag of frozen fries put into the pizza oven! Unbelievable. Hopefully this willfull desire to serve up bad food and cut corners results in this place closing. Why open a restuarant if you want to serve bad food? Strange. read more
