    The Porko

The pizza was delicious. We came here late at night and chose the porko to eat at the bar. The pizza was so thin and crispy. The staff are very nice. We saw a few locals come in. We definitely recommend Pizzaiolo if you're in town. The pizza joint and bar are the same.

Apparently Pizzaiolo just recently opened up their new dining room and bar and I am very pleased about it! We stopped in for a quick slice and a drink. The bartender who helped us was great and it was apparently his first day! We got our slices quickly and they were awesome. I tried the white pepperoni which was the right amount of greasy. We also tried the garlic knots which were delish! Also very buttery and toasted to perfection. They run a daily special like a free slice with a drink on Sundays which means I will definitely be back!

Pizzaiolo is an unique pizzeria with some mom and pop charm. The pizza was delicious, flavorful, and savory. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and outgoing. The restaurant was kid friendly and offered a wide selection of premium drinks and sodas. The kids loved it (9/10!!), and I enjoyed that they offered and served.

The White Stone Spinach - added Pesto base & roasted chicken! A+!!

Fast service for a busy Sat. night. Ordered the buffalo chicken pizza w/bacon & requested ranch on the side - which they accommodated. Thin, crispy crust. Lots of buffalo sauce that had a decent kick. Yummy. Didn't grab photos this time. Had ordered before (photos attached) which was fabulously delicious also. Always delivery, so can't speak for the inside of the restaurant - but pizza has always been fantastic.

Seeing the news of them opening up on Thursday I knew we needed to visit their first weekend open. Ordered online and had a minimal wait once we got there, with only one hiccup. For some reason their system didn't print our order of mozzarella sticks but they made a batch really quick! My wife and I each got a different 10 inch pizza and split a small order of the mozzarella sticks. The pizza was perfectly sized for an individual in my opinion and tasty so good! Fresh ingredients with lots of toppings used, they didn't skimp on anything. Some of the best pizza I have had in awhile! Secondly, the mozzarella sticks I would say are the best I have had! Such a flavorful seasoned batter with fresh mozzarella inside fried to perfection! The small order had 6. I hope they do well as I will be a frequent visitor looking forward to my next pizza! Want to return and try their burgers, wings, and even their grab and go breakfast sandwiches! I suspect most of their business will be ordering online/pickup but they do have a few tables available inside. If you are in the area and craving pizza this is a spot you must check out!!!

It's unique and it's simple -- but the flavors created are something to keep coming back for. In my most recent visit, we had a pretty bad experience leading up to the pizzas actually being served. We had some friends visiting and decided to go to grab pizza after sending a small group back to the mainland on the 6 o'clock boat. Our order must have been placed maybe 5 or 10 minutes after 6... we weren't served our first pizza until after 8 PM. And our second pizza lagged behind that one by nearly 10 minutes. I can understand how, taken out of context, this can be seen as a petty complaint. However, it really was a discouraging experience because we had multiple (at least half a dozen) other groups order well after us and enjoy their entire dining experience all around us. The group ordering behind us enjoyed their pizzas, bottles of wine and chit chatted for nearly a half hour after their indulgences... and still rode off in their golf cart before our pizzas even made it into the oven. The part that really baffled me was that we took the opportunity to speak with the staff about what was causing the delay -- simply asking if our pizza order had been started or not yet and the explanation was "our team has made several mistakes this evening and we don't have a good estimate on how long it'll take for your pizzas to be ready". We got the same explanation after waiting for 45 minutes and again after nearly an hour and a half. It seemed like a pretty inadequate answer when their wood-fired oven was often not full of cooking pizzas and their entire staff was dancing to the music playing on their speakers. In the end... the pizza was good (same quality as expected). But my experience left something to be seriously desired.

My friend and I decided to split a pizza and it was a good sharing size. We got the burrata and it was delicious! The cashier told us it would be about 45 and I think it was a bit less than that but expect a bit of a wait on a busy weekend. The crust is super thin and floppy but good texture and taste! The sauce was flavorful and the burrata was perfect.

I do wish I would have returned sooner and/or may need to come back one more time before they close. Street parking nearby was easy enough to find. Walking in mid day on Saturday it wasn't too busy so after a short wait we were sat down. Which then lead to the biggest negative of our experience which was waiting for being greeted and also orders being taken. Granted our server did apologize and thank us for our patience. We started off with a cocktail I had the California Sour (had a good bourbon kick) and my wife had the Pineapple Rum Punch and enjoyed it. I enjoyed their rotating speciality pizza that was a Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was delicious top notch pizza. My wife got the Fried Chicken Vodka Parm Sandwich and the chicken was cooked to perfection! We also tried their appetizer of Scrappy Fries and it was a perfect app for our table to share and the meat scraps stood and had so much flavor to it. First, some expectation setting- You can think of it as a first cousin to a grandma style or second cousin to a Sicilian. Thinner crust, decent structure, more structured than a NY, less structured than a Sicilian or a good grandma style. It's a little lighter than a Sicilian or grandma in terms of crust. "Heaviness" is pretty subjective depending on the toppings. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. I'd certainly go back here. A little on the pricey side but I think it rang in around $18 on these 2 slices (yes, pictured is considered a slice of each) I was plenty satisfied.
