While I was there my experience was very poor. The food prices are high for pizzas, and the food quality did not meet those standards. The general atmosphere was decent however, cool signs and different pieces on the wall. I enjoyed that part. Above all though, and my main talking point, is how the *seemingly* owner treats her employees. I witnessed her berate multiple of her employees in front of guests and patrons. This happened on multiple occasions throughout the time we were there. I cannot imagine a person of hierarchy treating teenagers to young adults the way that she did. It was embarrassing to watch happen, and how unprofessional it was. Will not be taking my business here from now on, and I encourage whoever is reading this to consider the same! read more

The service here is really hit and miss. It's never been horrible, but it's inconsistent. The food is exactly the same. It's average to good depending on the day. I've had sandwiches and pizza here. I liked the sandwiches better than the pizza. The place is pretty cool inside. Several tvs and random things on the wall to look at. The place isn't always clean. Especially after a lunch rush, you'll see tables with plates on it. I cut my leg on a metal piece that's on the side of one of the tables. Not a big deal, but just be careful. Thanks to the ownership for responding. Now we know exactly where you stand. Look I perfectly understand a restaurant not wanting outside food brought in. But a special needs kid with a happy meal? Come on, use some common sense and treat customers like human beings. I will share with my friends, family, and special needs community to not visit your establishment. We had two kids with 3 adults. The kids would not eat pizza so we got them a happy meal at McDonald's and brought it inside the pizza shack ready to spend money there. The time was 3:30 in the afternoon and it was not even busy inside. By the way, I have a special needs daughter who wants things in a very specific way, one of the reasons why we got happy meals We were kicked out of the restaurant as we were not allowed to have the kids with happy meals at the table. Their prices are insane for a pizza place or bar quality. The pizza quality is going down hill. They nickel and dime for everything little thing. They charge you extra for salad dressing, they charge you extra for pepperoni on an already pepperoni pizza... you can't make their prices make sense. Started going to another place close by that has much better pizza and isn't anywhere close to as much. Not worth going back anymore now that they think their less than decent quality pizza is worth the price of gold. Ps. Their response is not valid at all because I did not request extra anything. I was charged for the dressing that came with my salad not anything extra and I was charged extra for pepperoni when I ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and even told her I didn't want the special pepperoni and still was charged extra. Don't let them fool you with the response. They will charge you randomly for anything and everything they can with no exploitation and when you call them out for it when you are handed the bill they will fight you on it. I just paid and left and decided right then I would never go back after going regularly for months because they up charged me almost $10 for things that weren't extra and I didn't ask for extras on and told me it was what I asked for when I said the bill was wrong. We've eaten at Pizza Shack a few times over the years. The pizza has always been decent. We went there last night for the first time in a while. I've gotta say, I don't think we'll go back anymore. My wife and I have small appetites. We like to buy a calzone and split it. First, it took a very long time to finally receive our order. I'll give a little grace, because we did go on a Friday night. But, when the calzone showed up, what a terrible letdown! We have never had such a bad calzone at any pizza place. In some spots it seemed undercooked, in others it was blackened. It was very small, fairly empty and mostly dough, and not very tasty. The whole meal, we had a man with his little son behind my wife's head. The kid was swinging around a fork and the dad spent the whole time yelling at him like a drunk college roommate. That's not the restaurants fault, but it didn't help an already bad experience. To top off the meal, the when the waitress handed us our back bill with the credit card, she didn't even look at us. She did not say "Thanks", "Have a good night", she said nothing. She was actually talking to someone else while passing us the tray backwards. My wife went to the restroom after the food. She said it was nasty. So: bad meal, bad ambiance, rude waitress, and tons of money for all of it. When we got home, I had to eat some more food. That was after spending $26 for a tiny calzone and 1 beer. I like Pizza Shack. I've had sandwiches and pizza here and I have enjoyed everything. The interior is decent and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that when you dine in, it seems to take a very long time to get your order, even a sandwich. I've been ok with that though because I usually go with friends that I like to chat with and we go when we don't have to be anywhere after visiting Pizza Shack. Take out has been good for me. Pizza is ready when I arrive, no problems - tasty pizza. I have never had any problems parking. I was there with special needs child and the blonde waitress was very rude. She acted bothered to even speak to me telling us at first the wait would be 10 minutes to which I replied, "yes ma'am". People immediately got up and left clearing multiple tables, she walked over and said you're still going to have to wait at-least 5 minutes, we have to catch up. This doesn't sound as bad as it is reading it but my child was wondering why she was so rude. I then just wanted to order a to go pizza at that point and couldn't get help. Never again and I've been there numerous times including the previous night for a birthday. If she's part of the ownership then shame on her and if she's not then shame on them. My family and I have been coming here for years and we really love it here. Really good pizza and we love the fries. Can never go wrong with fries! Lol. The ranch here is the best and it's home made, you can get a pint to take home as well if you like. We get that occasionally for our sides and salads. First time customers. Husband and I went for lunch on a Tuesday. Restaurant was not busy at the time. Maybe 3 other couples or so. The bartender only gave us one menu. Very weird. She gave us another when I rudely pointed out we are two people. We ordered apps and two meals. The menu is not easy to understand. It took me 5 min to find the drinks(non alcoholic drinks only listed on the "drinks/alcohol menu" then there's a huge section of Fry-Days it took me a minute to realize this whole section is a variety of loaded fries. (Seems obvious but it wasn't at the time there was no description. Just the different toppings.) That was all fine until my husband opened his unwrapped silverware there was food stuck to the fork and the knife was greasy. At this point we paid and left. We just moved to the area and another restaurant in seven hills we had a horrible. Los Portales is our favorite place. The owners and his children are extremely nice and food is always good. We go there at least twice a week. read more

The appetizer came out after the rest of the food, and we got the wrong size pizza. Our server tried to address the pizza with the kitchen, and they yelled at her. The owner's son came over and initially agreed that the pizza was "very small", but when I said that I wanted it corrected he said that they were already taking the appetizer off the ticket (no kidding, we sent it back because we were already eating our dinner) and that there was probably just an issue with the dough (weird). We were very much treated like we were trying to get something for free when we just wanted what we were paying for. All of that to say, we had a bad experience there before with undercooked food, but we gave it another shot because we wanted to support some people we know that work there, but that's it for us. First time customer trying all the restaurants in the area (new to town) we came in here and there were 3 welcoming faces last week. Our server was fantastic. Kept drinks full and was super friendly. Engages with the young kids at the table and even though there was a baby she talked to our oldest and made her feel just as special. Was a little surprised that they were not that busy and the service was so slow, but the employees are what makes the experience so if they are lagging so is the service. Anyway this was not the first time I have been here and the service has been the same every time so expect the whole experience to take some time. This is a great restaurant. I hate that the pandemic hit it so hard. My wife and I love their pizza and it's reasonably priced. We cure our pizza fix once a week here and it's a 25 minute drive from our house. They also have great wings. If you go bring your patience because they are a bit short staffed. They are trying hard, are very friendly, and we support local businesses. By the way, they have a charity car show coming up in September and my car will be there. I tried to order the Deluxe slice and they said they didn't do that. The lady taking the order said she didn't know the closest thing to it to order so we got a slice of veggie and added pepperoni. It was pretty awful. The vegetables were either not cooked at all or completely overcooked and almost no sauce at all.
