Visiting restaurants is so different these days . With living through a pandemic ( Covid) it's tough to give you the full experience. However, I'll try to do my best . With this establishment I was allowed to enter and stand inside to wait on my food . From my observation, I believe it was because I had on a mask . There was only one customer whom didn't have on a mask. The staff asked that customer to provide a phone number and he'd receive a call when his order is ready . I like the way it was handled . Since some customers refuse to wear a mask and employees shouldn't be responsible for trying to enforce wearing a mask and get involved in an argument with a customer. Good job Wingstop ! Now , I want to address the previous rating . It didn't deter me from trying the food because its only one review before mine. It's hard to make a decision based on one review. For this I felt like this place needed another opinion . Sadly a terrible employee can spoil it for everyone. Here's my experience: The place looked clean from as for as I could see. No one ate in the dining area , it was only one other customer inside besides me . The staff wore mask and a few were wearing gloves . I'm a little mixed on the gloves. I've said it before , but here is another scenario. It's like using the same condom in different people . Ok too much ? If you're exchanging money , using the register, and handling the food or the packaging that house the food with the same gloves ... Should I go on ? Although cleanliness is extremely important, most of you are here for the food review. I ordered the classic lemon pepper wings. You know everyone doesn't treat the wings the same . Sometimes they can be dry as a bone, greasy ,with week old oil and no flavor. I can honestly say the wings didn't taste old, there weren't too much seasoning, yet I could taste each pepper, salt and lemon separately. Yet they came together like a good marriage. The fries was too salty. Someone had a heavy hand over the shaker . Ease up in that Wingstop.Provide packets of salt for the customers who want to dust them to death in sodium. My drink of choice wasn't that exciting, but my insides thanked me for that good water. Lastly , I didn't have anyone serve me with a bad attitude. In fact they were so happy and smiling . Upon my arrival I was greeted by 2 very nice young men. One was seated and on his phone...I assumed he was on a break..and the other was a cook. The cook asked if I had placed an order or if I was picking up. I was placing an order so he told me to wait a minute. He went to the back and came back and told me that I had to place the order online because the manager was on break. WTF!! He said they could not touch the register. I was about to leave when a woman came out of the bathroom and asked if I had been helped. I places my order and it came up to $17+...I only ordered an 8pc!! I was charged $2 extra for all flats...when did THAT uncharted increase?!!! Ok, I get it. As I'm waiting for my food I'm looking at my receipt and I see I have been upcharged for a drink. When I asked THE GENERAL MANAGER (who is running the register...the one who was in the bathroom) why I was charged, she told me they upcharge "walk-ins". WHAT?!!! I did not see any sign that says this is their practice and it just doesn't sound like something that should be happening. This practice is deceptive and as far as I'm concerned, it's THEFT. Just think how many people are being CHEATED and don't know...that is a lot of STOLEN money this location is receiving. I got a refund and I am reporting them. I don't HAVE to place an order online if I dont want to. I understand the extra charge for "flats". You DON'T have the right to "upcharge" me for ANYTHING I didn't ask for. This "general manager" didn't seem to care about any of it. She wasn't rude or anything, but didn't try to explain anything or make it right. Despite explaining my situation - with my mother in the hospital and the inconvenience this had caused - the encounter became increasingly confrontational. I was even asked to leave, which prompted me to involve the police to mediate. The responding officers informed me that such incidents are not uncommon at this establishment. They provided me with the option to wait an additional 15 minutes for my corrected order or to seek a refund online. Due to concerns about potential food contamination, I chose the latter option. This experience was marked by unprofessional conduct and a lack of empathy. I am disappointed by the staff's dismissive attitude and the overall handling of the situation. As a result, I cannot recommend this establishment to others, and I will not be returning. The food is consistent from what you would expect from Wing Stop. The problem with this particular store is the service. I ordered my food before I left my house. The app said it would take 20 minutes. I shade a stop before I went and still had to wait 20 more minutes. The store was being operated by what looked like a bunch of unsupervised teenagers. Out of the 6 or 7 of them in there, only one looked to be working. The others were either flirting, eating, or on their cell phones. They were moving as slow as molasses (except the one) and with no urgency at all. With about 10 people waiting on orders. We've gotten great food from here however when we picked up food this week, the cook kept taking his mask off to use the phone at the front. It was a chin strap while he was cooking. Customers had no masks. Multiple people were waiting inside the store without masks or social distancing. I sat outside and waiting until several people left. While trying to check out, another employee came in apparently for her shift, walked up close behind me (no mask) and said excuse me to go around me. COVID is real. On our most recent visit , the main cook was grabbing raw chicken and tossing them in the fryer with his bare hands, he then proceeded to prepare finished orders with the same hands, never washing them or even bothering to put gloves on. I went into WingStop on Monday, the first error I saw was false advertisement for the .70 cents wings with a purchase of $10 or more on Mondays and Tuesdays. The little girl at the front who took my order forgot to give me my cup for my drink. So I told her she forgot to give me a cup for my drink, she stated you only paid for the wings, I told her no I ordered and paid for the combo meal which was an 8 piece boneless combo with a total of $12. She then went and got her shift leader/supervisor that had long red braids and stated she is trying to get a drink she didn't even pay for. So the little girl which she said her name was either Ashley or Jenny which I think was a lie put the cup on the counter very rudely and stated to me don't even worry about it. I ignored her ignorant behavior and I asked the shift lead/supervisor which she said her name was Janine I also think that was a lie and she said yes it comes with a drink. While waiting on my other food EVERYONE was on their phones. There were 4 young guys up there that were apparently the shift lead/supervisor friends. One of the guys came behind the counter and got a brownie. Once the shift lead gave me my food which I had waited an hour for I said thank you and she ignored me as I was walking out the young guys that were their friends started being sarcastic and told me to have a nice day. I will NEVER go back to the WingStop! On top of that the little girl that originally took my order was preparing customers fries with no gloves after she was on her phone nor did she wash her hands. I payed for 3 ranches and got 0, my fries were cold, when talking to management I got 3 different answers. First I could get my full meal redone with an ex 5 tenders added to it. Next day I called to place the order I was told only 2 tenders, 5 boneless wings, 3 ranches and 2 drinks. Today I called back and she said only 5 boneless wings and 1 ranch.
