What can I say--I'll try to keep this polite. Unfortunately, my experience with this place was disappointing, and it all came down to how I was treated. I've picked up a slice and garlic knots here from time to time with no issues, but during my most recent order, I had to cancel. When I called to explain, the owner, Sam, responded with surprising hostility. Stop paying for reviews!!!! Instead of a simple understanding or even a brief explanation, I was yelled at and spoken to in a completely inappropriate way--like a child being scolded. He even began cursing at me over the phone. Keep in mind, this was over one slice of pizza and garlic knots. To make matters worse, he actually threatened to call the police over the cancellation. That was honestly shocking. (I have the text message to prove it) It's disheartening to be treated this way by a local business, especially when I've supported them in the past. I hope this review encourages the owner to reflect on how customers are spoken to--because no one deserves to be treated like that. read more

You don't have those Dowie crust that you find that other pizzerias around town. The man hates making slices though and that's OK because he has to pay his rent. I have a love hate relationship with trying new places. I want to help local business growth by try something new. But also scared it won't be worth the hassle. This place was the later. I ordered 2 pies at 9pm, a grandma and a veggie pie. I show up at 9:45 and it's still not ready. The man behind the counter was extremely rude as others have called out. Just yells at you for about anything. He told me it'll take another 15 mins. I live local so I go home and show back up. It took another 10 mins. All in all it took about a hour and 20 mins. As for the pies my the grandma was the better of the two. I would rate it a 6 out of 10. The sauce was tangy, dough was chewy with no crisp, however the entire pie was so oily. The sauce really saved the pizza. The veggie was overloaded, they weren't cooked down and the slices fell apart as soon as you pick them up. There was minimal sauce and again no bite. I would rate this is a 4.8 out of 10. All in all a new spot, which I don't think will last long given the owners nasty attitude, long waits, and oily pies. read more

In my efforts to help a new business I decided to try this new pizza place in town. They offer 9.95 large pizzas Mon-Thursday. The price is right if you have a few kids at home to feed. The pizza boast a nice thin chewy crust, which is tasty. They put just the right amount of sauce and cheese to make it taste just right. The wings however were breaded which I don't care for. However for a new business it did ok in my book. I wish them well in their endeavor. I think that when schools fully reopen they have a good chance of doing well since they are in very close proximity to both the middle and the high schools. read more

If you say it takes 30 mins, don't have a customer call after an HOUR to see if their order is ready when you tell them they will call you. Obsurd. And the pizza sucked. Sorry. But by running it pretty much by himself and consistently putting out absolutely fantabulous pizzas, he is getting a loyal, repeat fan base. The local town social medial outlets are all abuzz. Restaurant staff is very rude not respect ing customer at all. I've ordered vegi pizza thru grubhub but earliest time they can make was after 1 hour. So i've called restaurant directly and ask if it can be made early. But owner seems busy and instead yelling at me ordering not regular cheese pie that he can make now. He said they can only make cheese pizza pie within 10 mins but because i ordered vegisterian pizza(vegi pie), he yelled I have to wait one hour. If vege pizza is not regular pie, why don't they letting us customer know that it can be takes more time in the beginning? This was my first experience that someone yelled at me by asking if food can be pick up early. I will not going to this restaurant ever and report to grubhub as well. STAY AWAY!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I must say, out of the many restaurants I've been to, I have NEVER been mistreated as much as I was here. The owner is a miserable little man. He had a heavy accent and spoke as if he was losing his voice, so it was difficult to understand what he was saying. He was insulting and would get angry about anything. He said he's never had this issue with ANYBODY before, but judging by the previous negative reviews, that was a lie. I tried my best to be polite, and I think I handled the situation as best as someone could. In the end, he shook his head at me and asked if everything was okay while pointing at his head. I promise everything is quite perfect up there, but everything is not OK with him. He has issues and shouldn't be running a business. Find something else to do or retire and take anger management. Everyone I meet is super friendly to me. I've worked in the service industry before, so I'm knowledgeable about good customer service. The pizza wasn't even that good to make another trip here worth it. It was greasy and soggy. I've been to many pizzerias in NYC and Jersey that were so much better and friendlier owners. I don't believe all 5-star reviews are genuine. A little fishy that most only has 1-2 total reviews on Google.
