Not knowing what to pick, I did a quick search for pizza restaurants and stumbled upon Nomad Napoletana. Luckily, it was just a short four-block walk from the office. Having never been here before, I was not sure what to expect. The interior was clean and modern, and I was quick to be greeted by the friendly staff. I picked the Roni con Queso lunch special with a Caesar salad on the side. For only $10, I got a freshly baked slice of pizza, a fairly large salad, and a drink. The food was delicious. Since I was on my lunch break, I wasn't able to try one of their numerous wines or beers on display. But next time, I'll be sure to see what they have on offer. Needless to say, I really enjoyed this restaurant and definitely plan to come back.

I went with the Diablo slice, and the sauce was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of heat. Spicy enough to clear your sinuses without overpowering the flavor. Highly recommend for a quick but satisfying lunch.

Unfortunately, Kay accidentally left her purse behind, and we didn't realize it until we were well on our way home to the DFW area. The staff had found and secured it, and Nick at Six Car went above and beyond to help us get it back. He packaged it and took care of getting it shipped through FedEx after I sent him a prepaid label. When the purse arrived safely, we discovered that they had even included a Six Car T-shirt, mug, bandana, and stickers as a surprise. That's the kind of customer service and hospitality you remember. We're very grateful to Nick and the Six Car team. Good food and good people--Six Car will definitely be on our list the next time we're in Amarillo.

Have you ever wanted to eat out... but not actually dine out? So you order takeout and immediately…read moreget that little feeling of apprehension like, "Please let this food be as good as it would've been in the restaurant." Well, that was us today -- and Bubba's 33 absolutely delivered. My husband ordered the smash burger, and I got the New England-style fish and chips, plus a full order of their hand-breaded, hand-cut onion rings that are honestly to die for. We picked everything up just 15 minutes after ordering, and every single item tasted like it had just come straight from the kitchen to our table. The onion rings were perfectly crispy with that fresh-from-the-fryer crunch and flavor. The fish had that classic crunchy beer batter on the outside while still being flaky and tender inside, and the garlic mashed potatoes were clearly homemade with just the right amount of garlic. Now let's talk about the smash burger... it was HUGE. Seriously, it could feed three people. My husband practically inhaled it before I could even take a picture! What really impressed me wasn't just the portion sizes -- it was the attention to detail. The onion rings were packaged separately so they stayed crisp, and the savory Bubba's 33 sauce paired perfectly with them. We each ate several onion rings and STILL had leftovers. Even the side salad was incredibly fresh. I'm obsessed with those little crispy potato straws on top, and the homemade ranch is the perfect finishing touch. Honestly, it was refreshing to order takeout and not have a single issue. Nothing missing, nothing cold, nothing soggy or stale -- just an exceptional meal from start to finish. Huge shoutout to the cooking staff and online order prep team at Bubba's 33. You all absolutely crushed it tonight. We will definitely be ordering again and again!
